Chapter 29 - The Final Massacre Part 1

The mana between the three deities had fluctuated through the void. Aster's mana had a divine and warmth feeling of rainbow-like colored aura with as well a mixture of white and yellow hues.

Zerathis' mana were a deep black and purple color to it while Azathoth and a pitch black aura like it was a black hole. Both auras were known to be considered a very malicious and dark feeling.

It had became a free-for-all between the three strongest deities.

Aster's smile had faltered a bit seeing how two gods were in front of him. It was a scene he had expected, though Azathoth's presence had slowly changed up the script of existence, wiping all of Aster's back up plans.

Azathoth: Before we start... to make this fun.... no plans made... just magic and pure destruction...

Azathoth mumbled as he is still half-asleep. Zerathis glanced at him with uncertainty, though Aster's eyes widened ever so slightly, not expecting Azathoth to perform something like that.

Aster: I see... fine, then.

He had started to smile as the corner of his mouth had extended up to his eyes.

Aster: This will be... interesting, won't you say so?

Zerathis: A free-for-all..? Let's do it...

There was a divine sphere behind Aster that is only visible to him as he dashed towards Azathoth, though Zerathis got in the way and slapped him away.

Aster raised his arm up to block the attack and used his body weight to stop his movements, and had noticed his arm was actually wounded.

Aster: I gotta be careful.. both Zerathis and Azathoth could nullify my immortality and attacks as well. If I'm not careful and reckless, I'll die...

Azathoth: You're right Aster... we both can completely nullify you and your abilities to even revive yourself or others...

In that moment, Azathoth had started to completely wake up. His presence itself had shattered part of existence, though he kept everything else alive.

His presence was so powerful, it had pushed Aster back as he tried to cover himself from the wind. Aster's eyes widened more as sweat drips down from his forehead as his smile stayed.

The change in his aura was now visible as it fluctuates more, revealing Aster has completely done something.

Azathoth: Ah.. I see. You'll use more power hm?

Azathoth had sent out powerful and magical beams of darkness that transcended distance itself towards Aster, though Aster was able to vanish completely.

He was then seen to be behind Azathoth as Aster brought out the sword made by everything from the Great Divine Realm and swung at his Azathoth.

In that high-speed moment, he was already six feet away from Aster and Zerathis.

Both Azathoth and Zerathis had started to attack Aster with Zerathis summoning out all of his infinite split-souls which stayed at the same level as the main body.

They all simultaneously attack Aster, though Aster had evaded each attack, though was getting grazed.

Aster: Shit! Even at 10% of my power right now is probably not enough for this kind of fight!

Aster flew upwards as one of the souls of Zerathis slammed him down. Though he was able to use the blade to block the attack.

Azathoth appeared in front of Aster, then sent out an invisible slash point-blank, though he barely evaded that which grazed his forehead.

Zerathis: You should know that I had split my existence into an infinite amount of souls across existence, and I can change how much power they can use, even if it's beyond 100%.

Aster: Yeah. I know.

Aster had swung the blade so deep into Azathoth that it had harmed him for the first time, though it hadn't killed him. After that immediate attack, Aster went towards Zerathis.

As he was close to Zerathis, he had kicked Zerathis high up into the ground as multiple magical sigils around Zerathis appeared with a vastly large size.

It had appeared it came from all sides.

A large beam of rainbow-colored light had landed on Zerathis, is what was seen in Aster's point-a-view. Null Breaker was a very destructive ability only mastered and used by Aster himself.

All the souls had disappeared and was sent back to Zerathis' main body, which was saved by Azathoth.

Azathoth: Null Breaker... an ability so powerful it bypasses impenetrable defenses and high-level immortality as well as nullifying abilities regardless of the level. Interesting ability.

The wound was still on Azathoth, though he hadn't cared about that. It wasn't really painful in the slightest to Azathoth.

Azathoth: And that blade, the Divine-Destroying Sword hm? It can as well nullify immortality and is mainly made to counter me...

Aster smile widened as he floated there as the divine sphere was still reforming Yuki. In the very moment of that process, Azathoth sighed and had cancelled Yuki's resurrection.

Aster: Well I'll be damned. You figured it out huh? That I was trying to resurrect Yuki? You're such a pain in the ass that probably even the author has no idea how to get rid of ya.

Azathoth: Breaking the fourth wall is one thing... but having the belief and idea that you could defeat me is near zero.

Aster secretly tries to form another divine sphere with Yuki's soul within it as Azathoth immediately sensed it.

The moment Azathoth was going to attack, his abilities were temporarily shut down for an hour.

Azathoth: Hm...?

Aster: Well look at that. I guess manipulating the belief of others who believed you were actually the strongest worked. To be fair, it only stopped your powers from working temporarily.

Zerathis: Why you—! How dare you do such things to Lor—

His sentence ended as Aster snapped his fingers changing everyone's belief into believing that Zerathis was unkillable down to zero, now effectively killing it.

Azathoth: Such a sad boy you are... that would work temporarily on Zerathis. And I wouldn't need my abilities to win this fight...

Aster: Yeah well... in my eyes, everything you and Zerathis do is just a page in a fictional book. I knew it won't work on Zerathis, had to temporarily put him down for some time.

Azathoth nodded in agreement, as Aster charged towards Azathoth with the Divine-Destroying Sword and swung at him, though he was sent down immediately from just Azathoth's physical attacks.

The physical attacks had no effect as it was turned into nothingness while he grew stronger. It was all visible now. All the infinite multiverses, everything could be seen.

Azathoth: Of course you knew... everything came according to my plan.

Aster glanced at Azathoth as he was immediately sent into a dream-like world that was created by Azathoth. It was an Outer World that was perfectly made for a being like Aster.

He glanced around as it was a blue sky, it was peaceful with flowers all over the grass. It was an infinitely extending land with only grass and flowers.

Outside of this, Azathoth had resurrected Zerathis.

Azathoth: One. Final. Warning. Call me Lord Azathoth. And I. Will. Kill you. Right here. Right now. And I. Will. Keep. You. Dead. Permanently.

Zerathis: Yeah... got it. Though, how has it you resurrected me?

Azathoth had no words to say to him. To him, Zerathis was an annoying ant who continues to bow down to an entity who doesn't want to be called god.

Zerathis immediately knew this and stayed silent.

Azathoth: When Aster had completely nullify all of my abilities, he couldn't nullify one ability, and that was my Dreamer ability. I don't need to use any magical gestures, thinking about it is already good enough...

Zerathis was uncertain about his claims, though he understood clearly.

Azathoth: The Dreamer is something that is apart of me. Is ONE of me. You can't nullify what's one and part of you.

Meanwhile, Aster examined his surroundings and swung the blade, causing cracks in the Outer World, though the cracks disappears.

It was like the visible cracks weren't even there to begin with.

Aster: Well, how fun..

His aura fluctuates more, flowing through the space as he started to unleash 20% of his power. Though even with that much power, the Outer World hadn't been affected much.

Azathoth sighed as he disappears, of course with knowledge that after sealing off Aster, the resurrection was again cancelled off.

He had descended down as his presence started dissolving the Primordial Cube—which is a cube that contains all of everything of the cosmos.

In that instant, the Primordial Cube had been erased, destroying anything and all things.

Zerathis had waited for Aster to be unsealed while the hunger of fighting him was boiling. It wanted revenge for temporary putting it down.

There was really nothing in the void. It was all emptiness. There wasn't any truth or falsehood in this void.

Azathoth had met back up with Zerathis at the same spot of the void while watching over the Outer World. They watched from a void where the concept of absolute had no meaning and had no existence.
