Aster: Well, there was a slight crack in existence... somehow. You can't see it because it's as tiny as an atom.
Yuki glanced at him with confusion as Kris sat down and sighed in disbelief. There was no eye contact, though there was silence.
Kris: So we're going to war huh?
Aster: Well it's more like a two versus two kind of war, but anyways, I'm assuming Azathoth is going to be participating.
Yuki: Wait.. Azathoth? Shit...
That was the realization that had hit Yuki knowing they are doomed.
Zerathis was already a tough opponent for any of them, though Kris was unsure how Aster would actually handle Zerathis.
That was until a glowing imaginary light bulb appeared on top of his head, giving him an idea.
Aster: Hey Yuki, you and I will be fighting Zerathis and Azathoth right? We can't fight one thing, so why don't you fight Azathoth and try to buy some time for me to finish my fight with Zerathis?
His eyes widened in shock and disbelief as he stood there in silence. Yuki had drops of sweat moving down from his forehead while Aster confidently stood in front of him.
Yuki: That's suicidal... what the hell makes you think I'm fighting Azathoth? That bitch will annihilated all of us!
He was in deep shock as anger built up. Aster understood the consequences.
Aster: I know. It is suicidal, your chances of living is 0% and I get it, but try, alright? If you do end up dying, then I already got plan B set up.
Kris and Yuki listened as the confidence of Aster couldn't be real. It was too good to be true that Aster could even beat Zerathis, a being who transcends many and all, with the exception of Azathoth.
Hours had gone by as they waited for an attack to happen. Though Aster only had Yuki to try to perfect as much things about being a Nephilim as he could in a short timespan.
In Aster's eyes, everything is stopped. Nothing moved, though of course, that's at 50% of his power. With that amount of power, not even things could stop Aster in his tracks.
The worlds shook, rumbling as cracks started showing through existence. This was a sign that Zerathis, had awakened and arrived again.
Aster: Well there it was.
He summoned out a sword made out of everything from the Great Divine Realm. Aster tosses it to Yuki, then he catches it as he feels the weight distribution of it.
It was light.
Though the power felt immense.
That was when Aster glanced at Yuki, a sight telling him it was time. He nodded as they both completely vanished, flying outside of the world.
Aster: Alright, now, go buy me some time. I'll need an hour!
Yuki: I'm not sure if I can live that long... but sure. I'll try.
Yuki had completely vanished from his sight as Aster floated there in space.
Hours ago as Aster had helped Yuki perfect his Nephilim state as much as he could, he had already set up plan C.
It was like this.
Plan C:
"If Plan B doesn't work, and I lose the hour that I need, then I'll have to fight both Zerathis and Azathoth at the same time. That way, I'll have some time to try to resurrect Yuki."
That was plan C if plan B had failed completely. Though, in Aster's brain of his, he had actually came up with multiple plans.
Plan D:
"If that fails, I'll have to be required to destroy any and all things while trying to fight two god-like beings. That way, if I do succeed in doing so, they'll have to take time to understand I'm not a being to mess with, resulting in allowing me to reverse time."
Plan E:
"If Plan D fails, then.. I'll have to use 100% of my power, though it'll take a toll on my soul due to the destructive capacity I could let out."
That was the plans Aster came up in his head as he trained Yuki for some time before fighting.
In the present time..
Aster had some thoughts if he could actually succeed in his plans. Things in his head are telling him things he understands already.
It was risky. In fact, all of his plans are 90% suicidal, and those 10% is what keeping him alive. His existence as the First God.
Aster sighed as he sensed nothing, but knew something was there.
Aster: Hey.. Zerathis. Or should I call you by your true name. The Calamity of All.
Zerathis: I went by many names.. as well as the origin of destruction. Though my true name is written off of all histories, time and space. So how did you know about my true name...
Aster glanced at him and smiled a bit.
Aster: Well you know what they say, nothing is truly unforgettable. Even the ones that completely wiped out of history and existence.
Zerathis was impressed, as well as interested in Aster's knowledge. He chuckled slightly as it echoes through the space.
Zerathis: You're the First God, and the Knowledge Sage... correct?
Aster: I'm surprised you knew things about me. If, well, I hadn't exist, then you'd rule over all realms and existence by now right?
This caused Zerathis to laugh out loud as they both stayed in space in front of each other. It was the first time, Zerathis had actually laughed genuinely.
Aster started stretching his limbs out as Zerathis just floated there.
Aster: Now.. let's get this battle on the road to its conclusion, shall we?
Zerathis smiled with respect and pure malice as they stood in front of each other six feet apart.
Yuki, however, had met eyes with Azathoth. It was a sight he wasn't ready for.
Yuki: Azathoth...
Azathoth: Yuki Fujita..
They both stared at each other as Yuki had started sweating bullets while Azathoth was calm.
Both Azathoth and Yuki were placed in another dimension immediately. That was a sign that Yuki is completely doomed.
During this time, Azathoth was half-asleep, so he wasn't at full power just yet.
Meanwhile, Aster had noticed something off about Azathoth.
Aster: He's... not awake? Shit, he's half-asleep right now. Not what I expected.
His thoughts were in a somewhat panic state as he keeps calm. That was until Zerathis blasted Aster away, though he had removed the blast completely.
Zerathis: You know... I hit you, you were sent flying..
Aster: Yeah, but when it came in contact, the attack and effects itself just turned into nothingness as well.
Zerathis was indeed surprised about this. It hadn't known about Aster's ability to nullify and turn the attacks into nothingness. It was interesting.
Though, it couldn't sense Aster's mana level entirely.
Aster: Also.. I get a lot stronger through your attacks. You're pretty much a fictional character in my eyes, and I'm only at 0.001% of my power.
His smile widened as Zerathis glanced at him, its many eyes widened completely. It was a shocker. It was unexpected. Aster, as a being, is unpredictable.
Meanwhile in an alternate space, Azathoth had thrown out attacks that would kill somebody, though Yuki had blocked the attack.
Yuki: This sword.. I see, Aster gave me this blade because it's meant to handle all of Azathoth's attacks.
Invisible slashes had moved towards Yuki, though he had barely dodged it. They were ignoring distance, space and time entirely.
There had been slash marks on his body as he couldn't regenerate the wounds. Even though Yuki is a known nephilim, his regeneration was completely bypassed by Azathoth's attacks.
Azathoth: ....is that all....
He mumbled as he was half-awake. He couldn't merely focus which made his attacks clumsy, though it didn't change the damage of his attacks.
Yuki had charged towards Azathoth, but he wasn't there. A loud swoosh was heard as Yuki was completely decapitated and destroyed in many pieces.
It was another slash that came from the half-asleep Azathoth.
Aster had immediately picked up that Yuki had now disappeared. The space Azathoth was in, now collapses as it had been revealed that he is now floating in the void, outside of the boundaries of all existence.
Aster: Dammit... Yuki's dead. Plan C then.
His thoughts remained calm as Zerathis attacked, though immediately Azathoth had teleported both Aster and Zerathis towards his location.
Zerathis: Lord Azathoth... we meet agai—
Azathoth: I told you not to call me that... Speak to me like that again, I'll end you and Aster right here. Right now. Now, just focus on this fight...
Aster: Tch. How poetic. I guess I'll have to fight you both huh? This will be... interesting.
He started secretly reforming Yuki, though due to his Nephilim existence, it takes time to complete. They each stand in a triangle shape in the void as they glare at each other.
Their aura and mana flows throughout the entire void, one having a larger aura than the others. It was slowly beginning and the conclusion of the fight is now visible.
