Kai returned to the town along with Mira. He was about to get into the slower parts of gaming, handling certain issues.
He thought about keeping the stream active. He was yet to even cross the four-hour mark for the daily quest, but then he realized it did not say he had to do it all at once. He could come back later and easily complete it for the day.
That was with the hope that he could gather above four hundred viewers again. He was not sure if his stream had been impressive enough for the viewers to want to stay, but regardless, he hoped so.
"Hey guys, I'll be ending the stream now. Thank you all for viewing. I'll be streaming again in a few hours. Thank you to everyone that gifted as well, I really appreciate it," Kai said casually, with a smile on his face.

One after the other, their messages came in. More than a hundred chats told him bye and that they would be back. Kai had a warm feeling form in his heart when he saw all of this.
'This was my first big stream,' he said in his mind as he ended it, 'and I loved it, every bit of it.'
"Loved what?" Mira asked. She had been watching him speak.
'She does have a lot of free dialogue for an NPC. Is she a special NPC, or does the game have good machine learning and thinking within each of them?' Kai thought as he looked at her.
"Oh, it was nothing. Let's head in, I want to sell the stuff I got and get some food," he said.
"Food!" Her eyes lit up immediately. She clutched the puppy tighter and led the way inside.
Kai followed her, while a few things were on his mind.
"Now that I have become a slightly bigger streamer thanks to the system, I have to be cautious. Streams have to be interesting, and I have to work hard to keep growing. That way, I'll get enough money for Aoi."
The adventurer guild was situated near the center of the town. A two-story building, pretty big, but not anything especially special.
A ton of players and NPCs were entering and leaving the building.
Kai walked in with Mira. The inside was filled with noise as people talked around. There were tables and seats to the side for those that wanted to sit down and have a drink. No one was really drinking right now though, aside from a lonely dude in the corner.
The counter was near the end of the hall, and behind it was a beautiful young lady. She had dark brown hair and eyes, pale skin, and was wearing a white and black guild uniform.
He stopped before the counter and she immediately greeted him with a smile.
"Hello, welcome to the adventurer's guild. What can I do for you?" she asked in a cheerful voice that she must have practiced a hundred times already at this point.
"Uhm, I want to sell some things," Kai said.
"Oh? Are you an adventurer?" she asked.
"No, not yet," he replied.
"Before we can make purchases from you, you need to be a registered adventurer. If you don't have an issue with it, then I can bring the form," she said.
"Oh, alright, that's fine," Kai replied.
She nodded and then dug under the counter before pulling out a file with a quill.
Kai took it. Since there was no one behind him, he could stand there and fill in all the information.
Some things were optional, and some things he did not even know, so he filled everything he could and handed it to her.
"Thank you. The process of getting you registered and getting your card ready can take up to ten minutes, so please have a seat and wait," she said.
"Alright," he replied casually and turned away to go sit down, while she went through the door behind the counter to get it started.
Kai got to a table and sat down. Mira sat opposite him, still petting the puppy.
"Are you going to name it?" he asked. She looked up, eyes wide, then she smiled.
"I'll call him Cuddles."
'Cuddles my ass.'
"Uhm, you do know that's a grey wolf. He'll grow into a vicious monster. You can't call him Cuddles," he said.
"Of course I can," she said, then raised the puppy up, showing it to Kai. "Look at him, he is cute and cuddly."
Whimper.
The puppy let out a cute sound.
'Yeah, for now. Didn't you just see me get mauled by those wolves? Where is your loyalty, calling that thing cute.'
"Fine, you can name him Cuddles."
"Yay!"
"I hope Cuddles won't have an issue with his name in the future."
He let her be, and now he could finally focus on something that he should have done already, checking the skills that he had gained.
He was eager. He could barely hold back the excitement now.
"System, show me every new skill that I gained."
The streamer system pulled up everything that he had gained. It was three new skills along with two items, one special and one unique.
Eagerly, Kai checked the first skill to see what it was.
