Arc 2 chapter 21
Things were not going as Albert thought it would, matter of fact as everyone thought it would but who could've predicted that the storm could send people to sub dimensions nether less that there's a group of people who wanted to control the storm, all of these events happened and that was exhausting for Albert to think about since he was in a hot beach like area and a giant crab monster was heading his way but...both him and Rachel were not concerned in the slightest, and yes Albert was with Rachel since no one in the Sun Spiders were stupid enough to go after Albert and the guy who was supposed to go after Rachel was eliminated by Albert the moment he got noticed and because of that Albert and Rachel got paired instead and now they were just waiting for the crab like monster that was coming from the ocean to reach them.
Albert: those Sun Spiders assholes! If I get my hands on them they're gonna wish they were never born!
Rachel: I just wanna know if the rest of our party is okay.
Albert: if they are fighting monsters like that thing, then I'm pretty sure they are good.
Rachel: that's not what I'm worried about.
Albert: the Sun Spiders?
Rachel: yes, we don't exactly know how strong that group is.
Albert: well so far I faced this guy called Anos and he was pretty strong though not stronger than me but still strong and if there's more like him in the the group, then the others might be in trouble.
Rachel: see what I mean! We must find a way out of here quickly!
Albert: relax, I might have a clue on how to get out of here.
Rachel: then spit out already!
Albert: I think that if we kill the crab over there we might get out of here.
Rachel: why do you think that?
Albert: because that crab except for trees is the only thing alive since we got here and nothing else.
Rachel: now that I think about it the ocean is completely empty like there's fishes or any type of marine life except for the giant crab, which means this might be a test or condition of a unique ability?
Albert: exactly!
Rachel: but if that's the case then who's could it be? And who's powerful enough to cast such a large scale ability?!
Albert:that I don't know but for now let's test the theory. [lightning strike LV20]
Before the giant crab like monster could reach the shore, it was struck by a really powerful lightning strike that shaked the whole ocean and the air. And after that space shifted a little and then a portal appeared where the crab was defeated.
Rachel: sometimes I'm reminded that you're the Super Punch Albert, poor crab didn't stand a chance.
Albert: I really hate that nickname.
Rachel: you say that every time and let's not forget that you gave yourself that nickname.
Albert: I thought it was cool at the time and now it's just straight up embarrassing.
Rachel: well anyways a gate appeared so we can finally get back and check on the others!
Albert: yeah but don't get too excited, keep your guard up.
Rachel: sure!
Albert and Rachel crossed through the portal to the other side and just like Rachel thought, they were inside the storm once again and when Rachel looked at the center of the storm on the ground, someone was lying there on the ground bleeding and totally out, but when Rachel looked closer...she was shocked at the sight of Sion bieng in a near death state and was not moving completely. After seeing this Rachel and Albert rushed to treat him and Albert carried him on his back just in case and Rachel used her healing magic on him multiple times trying to close his wounds after she disinfected them and washed them up. Some time passed while Rachel was treating Sion and a portal opened above their heads and Alex and Kali came out of the portal safe which brought relief to Albert and Rachel, after that Rachel explained how they found Sion at this state and that the Sun Spiders were not likely responsible due to how they done things thus far.
Alex: Sion...
Rachel: don't worry he's gonna be fine but it'll be a while before he wakes up.
Alex: thank you so much Rachel I'm glad you were the one who found him.
Rachel: I just did what anyone would do for a friend.
Albert: how about me? I'm the one who's keeping everyone from being swept up by the storm you know.
Alex: thank you too uncle Albert.
Kali: OK this is nice and all but we still need to place the blumond at core of the storm! And seal it for good!
Albert: ok I'll start doing that!
Anos: not gonna happen Super Punch!
Just when Albert was about to head for the core, Anos and the rest of the Sun Spiders came out of the currents as in waiting for the opportunity to come out and now they were standing at the center of the storm with Alex's party in a sort of stalemate between the two groups.
Albert: you guys are about to give me a headache.
Anos: I can say the same thing for you guys as well.
Alex: you! Are you the guys who did this to Sion!
Anos: is he alive?
Alex:... Yes.
Anos: then it was not us.
Rachel: then what could've possibly did this!
Anos: if I had to guess... It's probably the undead.
Albert: undead?
Anos: yes , it's a monster that controls the storm and it's been so for thousands and thousands of years.
Kali: a monster that controls the storm? Yeah the chief was right to call you guys crazy when you first came to the village!
Anos: ah the bunny that ran away! Yeah I didn't expect your people to understand since they caused this accident long ago.
Kali: what are you talking about?
Anos: the storms origin, a tragic past long forgotten.
Ssp6: do you have to explain it to them lord Anos?
Albert: lord Anos?... Yeah I remember you now, you're Anos the mad scientist!
Alex: mad scientist?
Albert: yeah he was one of the most successful scientists and alchemist ever known until he started doing illegal research and went Rouge and now he's most wanted.
Rachel:... Wait isn't this guy the one who invented the battle card system?
Albert: yep that's him.
Alex: damn too bad Sion is unconscious, he would have loved an autograph from him.
Anos: I'm flattered but you were mistaken in one part.
Albert: which is?
Anos: I did not become wanted because I was doing illegal research... It's because the government wanted to hide the truth about what I discovered and they did not trust me enough to keep it, so they sent enforcers after me declaring that I've gone mad, but that's not important right now. Right now I need to take control of that dead God and the storm will be mine.
Alex: dead God? Well it doesn't matter, what matters is that your little scheme ends here!
Anos: little? Now that was an insult. Sun Spiders! Dig your fangs deep into them!
Sun Spiders: LET'S GO!!!(charging straight for Alex's party)
Albert: well here they come.
Alex: we don't falter, we face them head on!
Rachel: who said anything about faltering?
Kali: those bastards destroyed my village! I'm not backing down from this!
Rachel: wait how about Sion?
Albert: don't worry about it, I can handle those guys with him on my back no problem.
Alex: ok then let's do this! Let's go!
And the battle between Alex's party and the Sun Spiders that will decide the fate of the northern continent due to the Cursed Storm finally begins.
