Chapter 13 - new vessel 13

Hello!

Before you begin reading this chapter, I'd like to share a few quick notes.

This chapter contains no dialogue at all, and because of that, it may feel slower or less exciting than the others.

If you're currently busy, tired, or still awake late at night, I honestly recommend putting your phone down and getting some rest first.

You can always come back and read this chapter another time, since it isn't critical to the main storyline. This chapter mainly exists to introduce and explain Henry's new vessel and skill in more detail.

I'm also including something I previously mentioned back in Chapter 3 about Henry's long-term plan. You may not remember it, so I'll place the quote here again for context:

'I was planning to turn every player into a legend within the Nazarick guild. I even planned to create a whole set of books, detailing Void's character as well as other character of every ainz ooal gown member.'

Oh, and I matched the characters' heights to the anime version. In his new body, Henry is 200 cm tall. And in his old body (Void), he was 185 cm tall because his old body is a human vessel.

That's everything I wanted to say, and before you continue, I hope you get plenty of rest and have a wonderful day/night, wherever you are.

See you in the next chapter.

Bye:>

[EXTRA ABILITIES]

[TRIAD OF ETERNAL SIGHT]

Through this ability, he can observe the past, present, and future simultaneously. He can see, hear, and gather information from any location as long as a triangular shape exists there.

----

This ability became the primary reason he helped design parts of Nazarick. During the construction process, Henry secretly ensured that small triangular decorations were placed throughout the tomb—on walls, ceilings, floors, and countless hidden corners or objeck—turning Nazarick itself into a massive observation network.

Henry fought relentlessly until the developer finally approved his custom character.

He only requested this one ability.

A single skill.

A skill that would allow his new character to know everything.

He wanted it to contain all information from the internet and beyond—literature, recipes, mathematics, biology, the solar system, science, technology, politics, psychology, atomic theory, magic and dark magic, the human body, monster anatomy and races, beasts, rituals, legends, folklore, spirits, crime, art, animals, blood, fashion, taboos, military command and tactics, weapons, interrogation, destruction and creation, history, philosophy of life and death, leadership, sociology, light and dark magic, photosynthesis, galaxies, planets, the Milky Way, the universe and the multiverse, the beginning and the end, concepts of heaven and hell across religius, all languages, cooking, portals, higher dimensions, emotional expression, deception, treasure hunting, ghosts, personality disorders, sins and virtues, Braille, engineering, architecture, metallurgy, chemistry, quantum physics, alchemy, economics, finance, agriculture, botany, geology, oceanography, meteorology, genetics, robotics, artificial intelligence, programming, encryption and cybersecurity, linguistics, mythology, ethics, diplomacy, espionage, survival skills, navigation, astronomy, archaeology, anthropology, music, cinema, fashion design, blacksmithing, shipbuilding, space travel, portal engineering, nuclear science, time and paradox theory, probability and chaos theory, persuasion, medicine, martial arts, herbalism, summoning theory, curse and blessing rituals, demonology, angelology, cosmology, sacred geometry, and countless other fields of knowledge.

At first, the developers rejected the request.

The amount of data required for the ability was enormous, and they were concerned it could overload the servers.

They warned that it could become overwhelmingly overpowered—and might even cause server lag.

But Henry didn't back down.

After lengthy negotiations—and a considerable increase in cost—the request was finally approved, much like his previous custom equipment and skills had been.

Once the ability was secured, Henry made another unusual request to the developers.

He commissioned a custom book.

Not an ordinary in-game item, but an archive—one that would continuously record all the members of Ainz Ooal Gown, so that the guild would no longer exist only through memories and scattered item.

The book would contain their portraits, their character backstories, and the history of their roleplay adventures. Every major event, every shared moment, and every legend they created together would be carefully compiled, edited, and rewritten so that it read not as fiction, but as genuine history within the world itself.

Others might not understand what could be so important about a collection of books, but to Henry, it would become a precious memory—something that he, momonga and the NPCs could cherish and use to remember their friends or creators in the New World later.

A way to preserve the existence of the guild in a form that would never fade, never be lost to time, and never be forgotten by the memory they all created. Oh, and i requested, to made the book indestructible.

The developers had barely finished celebrating their decision to approve the custom book. They hadn't even opened the project folder yet, when Henry arrived with another outrageous request.

He wanted them to fill one room on the 9th floor of Nazarick with books—Just like the skill from earlier, it contained all information from the internet and beyond, the difference is that it get contain in a book.

Since the Character was designed to be an all-knowing entity, every piece of information in the world was written into the character and woven into his lore.

Henry justified the request by declaring that he was writing these books for Nazarick's roleplay in the future—so that if the member of the Great Tomb ever needed knowledge, the answers would already be waiting on its shelves.

He even boldly claimed that he was the one who's writing everything, because his character lore was the source of all knowledge, and that every word in those books was written by his own hand in the lore, so he even make a request that all the creator name in the book is his name.

The developers was already exhausted, felt an overwhelming urge to slap Henry across the face.

The room itself was also custom-designed with the developers. It was built to be impossibly vast—an endless library stretching farther than the eye could see, every wall covered in books from floor to ceiling.

To make it feel like a real, functioning archive, Henry even proposed strict rules: every denizen of Nazarick could borrow a book for up to five days, and it had to be returned before the fifth day ended. If it wasn't returned on time, the borrower would face penalties and be banned from entering the library for forty days.

There was no need to worry about books being lost—if one wasn't returned on time, it would instantly vanish from the borrower's hands and reappear back in the library.

Henry can also form contracts. Anyone who performs the proper ritual is able to summon him and request a deal.

To make this possible, he created five books that contain the ritual needed to summon him.
