Chapter 3 - Bab. 3

Morning

Roni woke up and found himself still lying in Maya's bed. However, Maya was no longer there. He saw blood stains on the bedsheet, making his head dizzy as he remembered what happened the night before.

"Not only beautiful, her body is also so mesmerizing. I'm sorry, Mbak, if I was too enthusiastic last night," he muttered.

Roni got up and cleaned his body, which was still sticky from last night's caresses. After finishing, he prepared himself to go to his new campus, the place where he had been accepted through a scholarship program.

While taking a drink of water at the dining table, he found breakfast that Maya had already prepared. Smiling, Roni felt very grateful for the woman's kindness. He enjoyed the food heartily before leaving.

At the New Campus

Meanwhile, Maya, who was at her desk in the hospital, was lost in thought, remembering what happened the night before. A small smile appeared on her face. She had never imagined giving her body to a man she had just met.

"Ah, why does it still feel this sore…" Maya winced slightly while massaging her hips.

On the other side, Roni arrived at his new campus with great enthusiasm. He smiled, even though the clothes he wore looked a bit worn. However, his handsome face managed to cover that simple impression.

"Excuse me, buddy. May I ask where the registration office is?" Roni asked politely to a student.

After being given directions, Roni immediately registered, submitted the forms, and officially became a student at the campus. He decided to walk around, trying to get to know his new environment.

His friendly attitude attracted a lot of attention. Several female students noticed Roni from their conversations, talking about his appearance and relaxed style.

"Who is he? He looks like a new student. But why are his clothes so shabby?" one of them whispered.

However, Roni's face remained bright, not caring about people's judgments. When passing a staircase, Roni accidentally bumped into a beautiful girl who was carrying books.

"Sorry, Miss! I didn't mean to," Roni said while quickly picking up the fallen books.

The girl only froze, staring at Roni as she turned her head. She did not pay attention to Roni's simple clothes, but was more interested in his sweet smile.

"Wait…" the girl said softly. But Roni had already passed by, not hearing her call.

On the Campus Field

Roni saw a group of students playing soccer on the field. Politely, he greeted them.

"Hi, buddies! May I join the game?" he asked politely.

At first they hesitated, but one of the tired players allowed Roni to replace him.

"Alright, you replace me," said a young man named Ben.

After joining, Roni showed his skill in playing soccer. His style and agility amazed everyone.

"So great! Who is he? His dribbling is incredible," the spectators exclaimed.

However, not everyone was impressed. Jack, one of the players from the opposing team, seemed to dislike Roni.

"Look, Jack. He's better than you," said Ari, Jack's friend, with a mocking smile.

"Shut up!" Jack snapped angrily, glaring sharply at Roni.

That was the beginning of Roni's story at his new campus, where he began to attract the attention of many people, both friends and enemies. However, he went through it all with a smile and the friendly attitude that became his trademark.

Roni felt he had wandered around the campus enough, then decided to rest for a moment to get rid of the sweat after playing soccer. After resting, he continued his steps again, exploring every corner of the campus with enthusiasm.

When the students began to go home, Roni also decided to leave. However, when he arrived at the exit gate, a car stopped beside him. A young man greeted him.

"Hey, buddy. Want a ride?" asked the young man, who turned out to be Bobi, Roni's teammate from the soccer game earlier.

Roni politely refused, "No need, I'll just walk. It's close."

However, Bobi urged him kindly, "Come on, just consider it an introduction. We're not going straight home either, just going around for a bit. Come on, join us, I'll take you around the city."

In the end, Roni agreed. A little awkwardly, he opened the back door of the car, but looked confused because he didn't know how to open it properly. The girl inside the car opened the door for him.

"Thank you, Miss," Roni said with a smile. He looked at the girl, who turned out to be Miya, Bobi's younger sister as well as the girl he had bumped into earlier.

"Let me introduce you. This is Seli, my girlfriend, and this is Miya, my younger sister," Bobi said, introducing the two girls in the car.

"Hello, Miya. Hello, Seli. Nice to meet you, I'm Roni, the new kid," Roni said warmly. Miya, who was sitting next to Roni, only smiled shyly, feeling awkward being so close to him.

Throughout the trip, Bobi and Roni were engaged in warm conversation, while Miya mostly stayed quiet, only smiling occasionally. Seli also preferred to observe the conversation without interfering much.

"By the way, Roni. Tomorrow is Sunday and we're going camping at the beach. Do you want to join? We're planning to stay there for several nights," Bobi invited enthusiastically.

"I can, but I won't be a bother, right? I mean, I'm not used to things like this," Roni replied innocently.

"Come on, don't think about that. I'll take care of all the expenses. Just consider it a gathering with friends. From now on, you're my friend. If anyone bothers you, tell me," Bobi said firmly.

Hearing that, Roni felt even more embarrassed. He didn't expect Bobi to be not only rich, but also very kind-hearted.

"By the way, where do you live, Ron?" Bobi asked.

"I'm staying at a boarding house around here," Roni replied.

"If that's the case, do you want to live with me? There happens to be an empty room at my house," Bobi offered.

Roni immediately refused, "No need, Bob. Being your friend is already more than enough. If I live together with you, I'll feel even more embarrassed."

Bobi smiled. "Alright, but remember, if anything happens, tell me. Don't hesitate."

Their conversation continued to flow. Roni then glanced at Miya, who was still quiet. "Miya, why have you been quiet this whole time?" he asked.

"Miya is shy, Ron. But once she gets familiar, she won't be like this anymore," Bobi replied with a smile.

"Hehe, don't be shy, Miya. The one who should be embarrassed is actually me," Roni joked. Miya only smiled slightly, lowering her face.

Bobi really took the time to take Roni around the city, even sacrificing his romantic time with Seli. They visited various corners of the city until they finally stopped at a restaurant. At the restaurant, Roni looked very awkward—he didn't know what food to order or how to sit properly. His innocent and village-like behavior attracted the attention of people around. Some even sneered, but Bobi defended Roni.

"He's my friend. Anyone who insults him is the same as insulting me," Bobi said firmly, making people fall silent.

Bobi truly appreciated Roni, because he had found out about his background. He knew that Roni was not an ordinary person. With his intelligence and talent, Roni managed to enter a prestigious campus through a scholarship path.

In the middle of eating, Bobi spoke to Miya, "Miya, try to hang out more with Roni. He can definitely protect you. I don't like you being too close to Jack or people who aren't right."

Roni, hearing that, was confused. "Why, Bob? Isn't having many friends more fun?" he asked innocently.

"Jack is not a good person, Ron. I don't want Miya to make the wrong move. She's my only younger sister. It seems you'll be in the same class later. So please take care of her," Bobi requested.

Roni nodded in agreement, although he still did not fully understand the situation.

After finishing the meal, Bobi drove Roni back to his place. However, when Roni asked him to come inside, Bobi refused because he had to take care of urgent matters.

"Alright, Bob. Be careful," Roni said before Bobi left.

Upon entering the house, Roni saw Mbak Maya busy working with her laptop on the sofa. Mbak Maya, who was now no longer shy about wearing sexy clothes in front of Roni, made the man swallow again.

"Mbak, I'm home," Roni greeted.

"I've prepared food. You can just go to the kitchen," Mbak Maya said without turning around.

"Oh my God, Mbak. Why bother? I feel bad. Besides, I already ate with my new friends earlier," Roni replied.

Mbak Maya smiled slightly. "I already told you, just consider this house your own home. Don't make too many excuses."

"Alright, Mbak. Sorry, but I'm still full. Later if I get hungry," Roni said, trying to refuse politely.

"Alright. Oh yes, Bayu was looking for you earlier. He thought you were at home. Go see him later. He said he wanted to talk," Mbak Maya said.

"Alright, Mbak. I'll meet him now," Roni replied, then immediately went to meet Bayu.
