Rei collapsed back onto the blinding white floor, spreading his arms and legs out like a starfish and staring at the blank ceiling with soul-crushing despair.
"What's the difference, then?!" Rei groaned, his voice echoing limply across the void. "I don't know when the hell I'm going to wake up! What if my physical body stays in a coma for thirty years?! Being stuck in a vegetative state for three decades is basically the same as being dead!"
"Hey, don't be so dramatic," Kevin said, trying to offer a half-hearted gesture of comfort. "Look on the bright side. In the Naruto world, human souls stay intact even after physical death. It's not like your spirit is going to dissolve into nothingness. Just hang in there."
Kevin crossed his arms, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Besides, once my timeline progresses further and I snag some Celestialsapien DNA down the road, there's practically no problem in the multiverse you won't be able to fix."
Rei's head snapped up. His eyes widened, glittering with a sudden, horrifying intensity.
"Wait... you're actually going to get Alien X's DNA for me?!"
ZIP!
Rei scrambled across the floor on his hands and knees, grabbing Kevin's legs once again. "Kevin! My savior! From this day onward, I'm calling you Dad! No, scratch that... I'm calling you Dadddyyy—"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOU FREAK!" Kevin shrieked, his skin crawling as he violently kicked Rei's hands off his ankles and scrambled five paces backward. "I am NOT doing a single thing for you, you weird, disturbing bastard! Get away from me!"
Rei dusted himself off, pouting. "Hey! You're the one who brought up Celestialsapien DNA!"
"Because I already have a foolproof plan for it in my own world!" Kevin grunted, adjusting his shirt. "I just have to wait for the Aggregor arc to kick off. Once that rogue Osmosian tracks down the Forge of Creation, he's going to beat the hell out of Ben and the team. All I have to do is 'tragically' sacrifice myself to save the universe, sneak over, and absorb the power of a infant Celestialsapien for myself!"
A sinister grin spread across Kevin's face. "I get god-tier cosmic powers, Aggregor takes 100% of the blame from the Plumbers, and Ben thinks I'm a hero! I don't even know if my Osmosian body could handle absorbing a fully-grown adult Celestialsapien, so snatching a newborn's energy is the absolute best option."
Rei stared at him, doing the quick mental math in his head. Then, his face fell into an even deeper pit of despair.
"YOU BETRAYED MY TRUST!" Rei screamed, flailing his arms. "The Aggregor arc doesn't happen until Ben 10: Ultimate Alien! That's like five years away! Are you seriously telling me I have to sit in this empty white void for FIVE YEARS?!"
Rei grabbed his own cheeks, pulling his face into a contorted mask of agony. "Dude, do you have any idea how mind-numbingly boring it is here?! I'm losing my sanity after just twenty days! The next time you guys log in here, you're going to find me wearing clown makeup and laughing hysterically at the walls! Think of something else! NOW!"
"Okay, okay! Chill out, let us think!" Megumi interjected, holding his hands up with a helpless, exasperated expression.
Megumi rubbed his temples, pacing in a small circle as he pondered their shared abilities. "Wait... what about Reverse Cursed Technique?"
Both Kevin and Rei instantly turned their heads, their eyes locking onto Megumi.
"Think about it," Megumi explained, tapping his own forehead. "You said you got hit in the head by a heavy flying object before waking up here. That means your physical body in the Naruto world likely suffered severe cranial trauma, putting your brain into a comatose state. Reverse Cursed Technique generates positive energy that reconstructs physical flesh and brain tissue. If you pump positive energy into your brain, you'll heal the damage and wake up instantly."
Rei's eyes illuminated with hope, while Kevin gave Megumi a sharp, expectant look.
"Why are you two looking at me like that?!" Megumi snapped defensively, taking a step back. "Do you have any idea how insanely difficult it is to learn Reverse Cursed Technique?! Unless you're a freak of nature like Shoko Ieiri who awakens it naturally, you can only unlock it during an absolute life-or-death struggle where your brain is actively getting destroyed! And I am NOT risking my six-year-old life in a suicide fight just to wake your perverted ass up!"
"Nah, buddy, think for a second," Kevin chimed in, a smirk growing on his face. "What about your Ten Shadows Technique? Didn't you say you tamed the shadows?"
Megumi blinked. "Yeah?"
"Then you have the deer!" Rei yelled, snapping his fingers. "The Round Deer! Madoka Deer! That thing literally outputs Reverse Cursed Technique as its core ability!"
Megumi froze mid-stride. He slowly raised a hand to scratch the back of his neck, a faint, deeply embarrassed flush creeping onto his cheeks.
Right... Round Deer outputs positive energy output automatically... How the hell did my two alter-egos remember my own shadow abilities before I did?! Am I getting dumber in this second life?!
"Oh... yeah," Megumi muttered, coughing into his hand to hide his embarrassment. "I did tame that thing."
"THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"
Both Kevin and Rei lunged forward simultaneously, tackling the unsuspecting six-year-old Megumi flat onto the floor to initiate an immediate soul-sync.
FLSHHH!
A bright wave of golden energy rippled between the three of them as memories, muscle memory, and cursed energy pathways synced instantly across their shared soul link. The information regarding the Ten Shadows Technique, Mahoraga's taming, and the Round Deer's positive energy output transferred directly into Rei and Kevin's minds.
As the memory transfer finished, Rei sat up, staring at Megumi in utter shock.
"WTF, dude?!" Rei gasped, rubbing his head. "You actually took over the entire Zenin Clan?! Did those old, traditional sorcerer bastards seriously accept a six-year-old kid as their supreme Clan Leader?!"
"I don't know, man," Megumi grunted, pushing himself off the floor and dusting off his white kimono. "I honestly thought they'd put up a massive fight or try to assassinate me. But after I used my clone army to beat the living hell out of Naobito, they held a ten-minute meeting and happily declared me their god-king."
Meanwhile, back in the Jujutsu Kaisen world...
Inside the Zenin clan estate's training corridor, Naoya Zenin was mid-stride, proudly supervising the guards, when he suddenly stopped.
"ACHOO!"
Naoya let out a sharp, loud sneeze, wiping his nose with a silk handkerchief. A soft, infatuated smile spread across his face as he looked toward the sky.
"Ah... the Clan Leader must be thinking about me right now," Naoya murmured happily.
Back in the White Space...
Kevin leaned against an imaginary wall, crossing his arms as he looked at Megumi. "Hey... speaking of your world, when you met Gojo Satoru last week, why didn't you just use your Osmosian absorption to steal his Six Eyes and Limitless?"
Kevin raised an eyebrow. "You said you were paranoid about sudden assassination attempts, right? Limitless's Infinity is literally the best passive defense in existence."
Megumi sighed, leaning back. "I thought about it, trust me. But I wasn't sure if my Osmosian abilities could actually absorb an innate Cursed Technique from a human."
"Why wouldn't it?" Kevin asked.
"Because Six Eyes is a physical, genetic trait—that part should be fine," Megumi explained, gesturing with his hands. "And my shadow shikigami are constructed entirely out of raw cursed energy, which makes them easy for an Osmosian to absorb. But an innate Cursed Technique like Limitless is etched directly into a sorcerer's unique brain structure and soul. I was worried human techniques wouldn't transfer over properly."
"Nah, buddy, that's definitely not the case," Kevin shot back, waving his hand dismissively. "Look at the lore! Kenjaku hops into different bodies and uses the host's innate technique instantly. Yuta Okkotsu took over Gojo's body later on and used Limitless without a problem! That proves Cursed Techniques are tied to physical brain architecture and genetics."
Kevin stepped closer, poking Megumi's chest. "And even if it wasn't genetic, you are severely underestimating what an Osmosian can do! We don't just absorb matter and energy—we absorb DNA, biological traits, and fundamental energy signatures! If an Osmosian can deadass absorb a Celestialsapien, do you really think a human's Infinity technique is going to stop you?!"
Kevin grinned wickedly, slapping Megumi on the shoulder. "So here's the plan: go jump Satoru Gojo and absorb his Limitless! Right now, he's fresh off his awakening. He knows Reverse Cursed Technique and Red, but he hasn't developed his Domain Expansion—Unlimited Void—yet! Beat his ass now while it's easy! Once he learns his Domain, jumping him is going to be a massive pain in the ass!"
Megumi gave a slow, thoughtful nod, a dark, ambitious smirk slowly forming on his six-year-old face. "Fair point. I'll add 'Beat up Gojo Satoru' to my to-do list."
Megumi turned his attention back to Rei, who was watching them with wide, hopeful eyes.
"Alright, Rei," Megumi said gently. "Head back to your side and try to wake up using the Round Deer's RCT pathways we just synced. If it doesn't work... don't panic. Kevin and I will log into this white space every day to hang out and keep you company until we find a permanent fix."
Kevin nodded in agreement. "Yeah. But if the RCT actually works and clears your coma... you know the deal. We'll see you right here in exactly one month."
Rei felt a wave of warmth wash over his chest. He wiped a stray tear from his eye, giving his two alter-egos a crisp, determined thumbs-up.
"Got it. See you guys in a month!"
