Three Days Later;
"Hello, Mr. Hank! Welcome to my office!"
Adam stood behind his table as he shook Hank's hand. The man was as tall as him, with blue fur covering his entire body.
"You are quite young, Mr Adam." Hank replied as he shook his hand.
"Sometimes people need to grow faster."
Adam chuckled and continued.
"Please sit down!"
Both of them sat on their respective chairs as Adam started his conversation.
"Hank, can I call you that?"
Hank nodded.
"Please do so!"
"I will be frank with you, Hank. You are one of the eight smartest people in the world with six PhDs."
"I need your help to develop the technology of my company and combine it with the power of my Lord."
Adam spoke.
Hearing that, Hank narrowed his eyes and asked.
"I am flattered that you put me in such high regard. From what I know, your Lord's powers aren't genetic or even scientific."
"To combine such power with technology seems out of my expertise. My main qualifications are in biophysics, genetics, biochemistry, and electronics."
Adam chuckled as he said.
"Don't worry about it! That idea isn't my urgent need. So, I will force you to make something that you don't have much understanding of."
"But, we will be starting with two things. You know about VidTube and their previous broadcast, right?"
Beast nodded.
"Yes, I assume you were protecting them during the broadcast. Otherwise, they would've been gone a long time ago."
Adam answered.
"Yes, I am still using my powers to create a barrier around the company, but I have sent their employees back."
"Of course, I paid for their work before sending them back. I also made sure they didn't suffer if they got caught by any official organization."
"But now, I have the data from that website. I need you to make some modifications to that website."
"Before this, I have been using my powers to keep it secure. But now, I need you to work on it to make it a secure website that nobody can get into."
Hearing that, Hank frowned and asked.
"Mr. Adam, why not let me create a new app for you? This broadcast has created a positive impact for mutants."
"I would be more than happy to help you with this."
Adam chuckled.
"So if I had said something else, you wouldn't be happy to do it?"
Hank suddenly felt embarrassed as he hurriedly spoke.
"Please don't make fun of me! I will do my best to complete any protection you throw at me."
"Good! But, just modify the previous program. It has already gotten quite a lot of attention."
"The second thing that I need is for you to replicate this and recreate its formula to mass produce it."
He said while taking out a small tube of blue liquid.
"What is it, Mr. Adam?"
When he heard that title, Adam's brows tightened as he said.
"Just call me Adam."
Then, he explained.
"This is the Super Soldier Serum. Oh, the one used by Captain America. But unlike that one, this one completely erases the side effects."
"What?"
Hank almost stood up from his chair, in absolute shock.
He didn't expect to get his hands on the serum like this. He stared at Adam and asked.
"Ho—how-how do you have this?"
Adam chuckled and said.
"Simple! My Lord created it. He saw what I was planning on doing and realized I needed a lot of money."
"As Lord's first herald, I simply couldn't become a thief. So, he created this serum and gave it to me."
"Our idea is the same. Mass-produce it and sell it to the higher bidders."
Hearing that, Hank's expression changed as he asked.
"But, this kind of power can cause a lot of destruction in our society. Doing this can start a war."
Adam shook his head and said.
"Just wait for a few weeks, Hank. You will see just how dangerous this world will be."
"Anyway, for now, your job is to recreate this serum. My Lord made sure the ingredients for this serum were something humans could produce."
"So, I hope I can see some results within three months."
Hearing that, Hank sighed.
"You have given me a huge task."
Adam clicked a button on his table. A minute later, a girl walked in. She was wearing a grey coat and skirt.
"This is Catherine. She is my secretary. She will show you your lab."
"Mr. Hank, please follow me!"
Catherine spoke as she turned around while nodding her head towards her boss.
Soon, Hank was taken out of the office.
But it didn't take long before Catherine returned to his office.
"Sir, a gentleman from SHIELD has requested a meeting with you."
Adam's expression changed. He thought for a moment and tapped the table a few times before saying.
"Alright, I guess you can send him inside."
A few minutes later, a man wearing a black suit walked in. He had a wide forehead and a slightly short stature.
As he entered the room, he greeted Adam with a smile.
"Hello, Mr. Adam! My name is Phil Coulson, the agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Would you mind if I ask you a few questions?"
Adam rolled his eyes and said.
"Of course, I mind. Unless you sign this contract."
As he said, he took out the contract without much hesitation.
"Is this the contract that sells my soul?" Coulson chuckled and asked. He already knew about it.
"Yes, how about it? If you sign this contract, I can answer a few of your questions."
Adam replied.
Coulson shook his head and said.
"Sorry, Mr Adam, but I am not allowed to sign this contract unless you can guarantee to answer some of my questions."
"My first question is who your Lord is. What is your purpose of exposing the military?"
Hearing that, Adam gave him a confused look and said.
"Is that all? I thought you were gonna ask me the identity of Naruto."
When he said that, Coulson immediately asked.
"That too. Why can't we find anything about Naruto? And, who is the existence that has been protecting Earth from Dimensional Beings?"
Adam rolled his eyes and pushed out his contract.
Coulson stared at him and said.
"If I sign this contract, will you answer those questions?"
Of course!"
Adam encouraged the man to sign the contract, but he was still hesitating, thinking about what to ask next.
Hearing that, Coulson still hesitated.
Seeing this, Adam suddenly came up with another idea and said.
"Can you contact your boss?"
Coulson nodded his head as he pointed at the earpiece.
"Then, I will give you another option. My Lord does transactions based on their impact on the world."
"For example, those who have left a huge impact on the earth will get more benefits, while an unknown person will get less."
"If you don't want to sign this yourself, you can let hundreds of your agents sign the contract."
"What? Impossible! That's a hundred people."
Coulson reacted immediately, shouting at the top of his lungs.
"But I am maintaining my contract. I will not kill them. That means until their death, they are no different than normal Shield agents."
"As for you, I think you should save your soul for the future. Even your boss's soul is not as precious as yours."
"So, what do you think? For every ten people, I will answer ten of your questions based on their impact on the world."
A voice rang in Coulson's ears.
"Agree to his terms, Coulson!"
"But sir, this…."
"Didn't he say he won't interfere with agents? Agents will be in life and death situations most often."
"If their soul can give us all the information we need, they will not hesitate to sacrifice themselves. Besides, as he said, they are not dying."
Coulson didn't understand why Nick was so trusting of Adam. In fact, Nick didn't trust him at all.
He only did this because he believed information was more important than a Shield's Agent's life.
Just as he said, they had already signed their death contract when they joined Shield.
When Adam heard that, a large smile appeared on his face.
He snapped his finger, and hundreds of those contracts appeared.
"First, have them sign these! Then, we will talk."
Hearing that, another piece of information rang in Coulson's ear.
"Coulson, you return to the Shield and ask our agents to sign these contracts. I will visit him and ask the questions myself."
When Adam heard that, his eyes showed a look of delight.
There were only two kinds of souls that could truly lure his interest.
And, Fury had to be in a similar situation as Captain America, but exactly opposite.
After all, he was the Spy of Shield who became the director of Hydra.
