Loki paused for a moment. He was certainly angry when someone revealed his true intentions.
But at the same time, he couldn't help but feel curious about how this man knew so clearly about him.
Yes, his father did give him the mission to safeguard Nine Realms, but the only reason he wanted to fight in this battle was due to Frigga.
If he had been even a few seconds late, he would've lost his mother.
He was furious, and his anger only increased when he couldn't defeat the guy who had almost killed his mother.
If they weren't so fixated on getting Aether from Midguard, he wasn't even sure if he could hold on until his father woke up from his Odin Sleep.
"Oh? What can your Lord possibly give me?"
"How about strength comparable to your brother? Or even better, your father?"
When Tobi said that, Loki was interested.
He couldn't be certain whether Tobi was telling the truth or lying, but if this was possible, he didn't mind selling his soul.
After all, he had a long lifespan.
By the time he grew old, he could even surpass the strength of this Dimensional Being.
Just when they were discussing, a cold air blew from one of the portals.
"Oh no! I forgot to mention. Jotuns will also probably join this battle since they have regained their Casket of Ancient Winter."
Sif shouted as she prepared herself.
And from that portal, nearly twenty Ice giants appeared.
Only this time, Tobi looked stunned.
'Okay! I wasn't expecting the villains from the first and second movies to work together.'
'Looks like Earth is gonna be in a lot of trouble.'
He thought to himself before turning his eyes towards Loki.
Originally, he wasn't planning on signing the contract with Loki. This guy was half Asgardian due to Odin's magic.
This meant he could live for a long time. Unless he was destined to die in the hands of Thanos, he could probably live for thousands of years.
And unlike with Thor or Hela, having the contract with Loki wouldn't help him gain contracts from other Asgardians.
But now that Loki hadn't fought his brother, he was more likely to join forces against Jotunheim and the Dark World.
So, unless he betrays them, he wouldn't turn into Asgard's prisoner.
"What do you think? Would you like to sign the contract? I am pretty sure you realize you aren't as strong as you think."
Tobi smirked as he asked.
He knew the most frustrating part of Loki's retaliation against the Dark Elves was his inability to kill the enemy who was about to kill Frigga.
"Don't tell me you want to rely on Thor to take revenge!"
Tobi kept putting salt into his wounds.
But Loki wasn't a God of Trickster for nothing.
He quickly raised his head, and a powerful beam of yellow energy burst out, clearing nearly four Frost Giants at once.
As it left a trail on the ground, Loki turned towards Tobi and said.
"Do you still think I can't take revenge on my own?"
"Sure, you can. But that's not your power. You can't even use one-tenth of the power of this suit. You are not even trying to wear this suit."
"So, it's just your suit taking your revenge, not you. Don't tell me Loki Odinson can't even take the revenge on his own."
Hearing this, Loki didn't react violently. Instead, he pointed his laser beam towards another group of Frost Giants and destroyed them at once.
.........…
"Whoa! Are you seeing this, Jarvis? That energy beam seems like a plasma beam. How is this armor able to conjure such plasma in such a controlled manner?"
Tony asked.
"Sir, I can't read these energies. They seem too foreign to me. But I found one interesting thing about this armor."
Jarvis replied.
Tony shot out a repulser beam towards one of the Frost Giants, but it only knocked the Frost Giant away. It didn't damage it.
"Jarvis, raise the power to maximum on Unibeam! I can't let those arrogant gods look down on our technology."
Tony said as he charged a large amount of energy on his chest and released a massive repulser beam that pierced through the body of the Frost Giant.
At this moment, the souls of these Frost Giants were being absorbed by Tobi.
While Loki took down eight of them, Lady Sift and Warrior Three took down four Frost Giants.
But the battle had just begun.
More and more Frost Giants and even Dark Elves started invading Earth. Their presence was startling to fill the New Mexico desert.
Thud!
Steve Rogers was punched into his shield. Although the shield absorbed most of the impact, he was still crushed on the ground.
As he panted and got up on his feet, he couldn't help but remember Ancient One's words.
'Steve Rogers?'
'Who are you?'
'My name is Ancient One. I am the Guardian of Earth. You don't look surprised?'
'I guess I have seen something even weirder. So, what brought you here?'
'Watching her like this! Do you feel like accepting that deal?'
'Don't worry, Ancient One! I will not accept a Devil's contract.'
'You should!'
'Huh? Aren't you the Guardian of Earth? Why are you asking me to sign a contract with him?'
'Because I can not interfere in your future battles. And, believe me, Rogers, they will be battles far beyond your capabilities.'
'It seems like you want me to get stronger.'
'You are a pure soul, Roger. Any Dimensional Being would pay a hefty price for your soul. But even they know they can't bend your will.'
'In other words, you won't fight for them. So such deals are useless. After all, souls of the dead can be used only to do two things.'
'Create hell soldiers or use them as energies to expand their dimensions.'
'Then, why him? What makes him so special? Aren't they all your enemies? Why are you so close with him?'
'Rogers, sometimes your enemies can get too powerful, so powerful that you will remain hopeless in front of them.'
'Even with the best of your intentions, you will be forced to use methods that you shouldn't, or you will lose everything.'
'I am not no different, Rogers. I don't have the power to protect this world. Even the Defense System was placed on Earth by my teacher.'
'I am just standing on the shoulders of giants, trying to do my best to protect this world. Chaos will soon descend in this world.'
'And, only you will have the power to truly save humanity, Rogers. Take his Chakra and use it to save humanity. Only you can do this, Rogers.'
As he remembered those words, Rogers felt frustrated.
He raised his right fist, punching the Frost Giant, but the Frost Giant easily blocked his attack.
He used his shield to attack, and it did cause some damage. But the Frost Giant kicked him on the stomach and made him fly.
Never before had he felt helpless.
Not because he couldn't win this battle.
'I can fight him all day.'
He could do this. He was ready to do this. But this Frost Giant wasn't his only enemy.
His skills were strong, but this Frost Giant had too much power.
Bang!
Suddenly, a long, fiery chain moved out from a distance and wrapped around the Frost Giant before it could react.
The Frost Giant tried to release a large amount of Ice to block the fire, but the chains only got tighter, and the Hellfire burned brighter.
"Noooo!"
Bang!
He screamed before his body was blown into bits and pieces.
"Frost Giants, it seems like I came right on time."
The motorcycle stopped at a distance, and the chain flew back. It wrapped around his shoulder to his waist.
He was none other than Ghost Rider. The burning skull, black jacket, flaming steps, and a cold gaze.
"Let's end this!"
Ghost Rider pulled out his chain and released a large amount of Hellfire into the chain before swinging it towards another Frost Giant.
The moment he released his Hellfire, those Frost Giants stopped focusing on each other and kept their guards against him.
The moment they saw him use his Hellfire, they also released a large amount of ice, creating a large wall of ice.
Bang!
But the ice wall was easily destroyed by the Hellfire Chain.
Johnny dashed forward, jumped, and spun in mid-air. His chains spun with him, generating even more heat through his Hellfire.
"Demon from Hell, this is not your world. Go back!"
One of the Frost Giants stared at Johnny with fear as he spoke.
"This is MY world, Frost Giants. You are not welcome here."
He threw the spinning chain towards the Frost Giant, and before he could react, he was smacked by the chain.
The heat from the chain melted his body, and the chain split the guy in half.
At the same time, another Ice Giant jumped on Johnny from behind and struck down with a large ice sword.
Bang!
