Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: Divine Form and Family

The luminous aura marking the arrival of the new gods gradually dissipated within the Hall of Primordial Creation, leaving only the silent whispers of cosmic law behind. Pangu's gaze rested upon the newly appointed God of Authorization and the God of Execution—profound and piercing, as though it could penetrate their nascent divinity and reach the subtle, unspoken unease deep within their souls: that confusion toward the essence of their newfound existence.

A faint trace of insight brushed the corner of his lips.

"No doubt," Pangu's voice broke the silence, steady and straightforward, like the declaration of a natural law, "you must be wondering about the fate of your original vessels."

The souls of the brother and sister trembled slightly. This truly was the question lying dormant in their subconscious. After becoming deities, their perception, power, and even their very form of existence had utterly transformed. So what had become of those mortal vessels that had carried them through countless years?

Pangu did not leave them in suspense. "I took your original bodies," he declared plainly, "and—as the core foundation, the vessels most attuned to the essence of your souls—infused them with my creative divine power, reforging them into the divine forms you now possess."

Seeing the surprise flash in his sister's eyes, Pangu's brow furrowed in contemplation, and his tone softened with an undeniable assurance:

"I swear a divine oath: should the day come when you decide to lay down your divine duties and retire into seclusion, your original bodies will be returned to you in their entirety, along with all the memories and experiences you gained as gods."

This promise, like the most solid foundation, quelled the last ripples of unease in the siblings' hearts. It meant their path was not one of no return; at least in form, the heavy mantle of authority and responsibility still preserved their freedom of choice for the future.

Yet Pangu's following words pushed the meaning of this "freedom" to a deeper level. His voice grew even more profound, imbued with unreserved trust.

"Moreover, what I bestow upon you is not merely the titles and status of 'God of Authorization' and 'God of Execution.'" His gaze swept over the elder brother, then returned to the younger sister. "From this moment on, you may freely utilize the personal divine power derived from your own divinity. More importantly, within the scope necessary to maintain the world's balance and advance the new model, you are granted permission to draw upon the world's primordial divine power to fulfill your duties."

To draw upon the power of the world! This was undoubtedly granting them a nearly limitless credit line and a wellspring of strength. The laws of the world would, in part, yield to their will; each of their actions would resonate with the very breath of heaven and earth.

Finally, Pangu took a step forward. His presence seemed even more majestic, yet paradoxically radiated a magnetic warmth. He looked toward the ancient and powerful Lord of Order beside him—the being who simultaneously governed freedom and fate. Sensing his gaze, the Lord of Order gave a slight nod. His face, usually as stern as codified law, seemed to soften with a hint of tenderness, his eyes reflecting the boundaries of rules, the shifting winds of change, and the trajectories of destiny.

Pangu returned his gaze to the brother and sister and spoke the declaration that would frame countless eons to come:

"From this day forward, I, the Ruling God, shall be your father. The Lord of Order shall be your elder brother. The four of us shall be a family."

"A family..."

The word echoed through the divine hall. Its warmth, responsibility, protection, and unconditional strength were far more moving than any sacred authority. It meant they had not only gained status and power but also a sense of belonging—a support system constructed by the Creator God and the Primordial God, the most solid foundation in the universe. The road ahead might still be fraught with thorns, but they would no longer walk it alone.

The ever-silent Lord of Order—now the elder brother—also spoke. His voice still carried the cadence of law, yet now held the steadiness of an older sibling: "To protect the family is also to protect the order of this world. Welcome, my younger brother and sister."

Within this new family forged by sacred oaths and reforged bonds, the God of Authorization and the God of Execution had finally found their place. A warm and powerful force flowed between the four, a bond that now transcended the framework of rules and contracts.
