"My nightmares are coming true," Josh pretended to faint.
"Oh, come on," I snorted.
"Seriously, I can barely tolerate one of you," he whined.
"I am a perfect creation, and she's almost caught up to me," I rolled my eyes.
"Exactly! Two of you is an apocalypse," he dramatically collapsed onto the floor.
"So," I turned to Ellen, "What did you do this time?"
"Can I ask a question?" Beth interjected. "Why do you immediately assume she did something?"
"Because she's Ellen. She's always getting into trouble, and Luanna bails her out. Just like when we were kids. I was the one who always stood up for her because her parents are not that forgiving," I explained.
"Please, stop calling me Ellen. Just Len, that's it," she rolled her eyes, sitting down with the others.
"Tell me, Len, what do you need my help with this time?" I laughed.
"Well, we had a huge fight, and I'm going to spend Christmas, New Year's, and your birthday with you. Also, I'm going to live with you, and I wanted to know if you could give me a job somewhere," she smiled at me, making puppy dog eyes.
"Of course," I hugged her. "That's what older cousins are for."
"You could say you're my older sister," she leaned into me even more.
"Awwww," everyone cooed.
My phone rang, which meant the buses were waiting. Everyone, including Len, grabbed their bags, and we headed out. We quickly arrived at one of my hotels. We all got out by the door with our luggage, and people immediately swarmed us. I quickly motioned for everyone to get inside. It was warm and pleasant inside, and the fans and journalists tried to force their way in. Of course, this wasn't easy for them, as the security guards, seeing me, immediately ran up and braced the doors.
Relieved, I walked over to the employee working at the reception desk.
"Welcome, Miss Perez," she greeted me kindly.
"Hello," I replied. "Listen, we'll definitely need one double room," I said and turned to the others. "How many of us are there, and are there any requests?"
"Nine, not including me and Beth," Harry answered.
"Are the large apartments free?" I asked.
"I apologize, but they are occupied," she smiled sadly.
"It's fine, give me the small apartments and two more double rooms," she handed me all four keys and returned to her work. "Your key," I handed it to Harry, who immediately left with Beth. "The key for the two of you," I gave it to Gabi, who was standing next to Liam.
"What do you mean?" she frowned.
"You'll be sharing a room, there's no other way," I chuckled at their reactions, as they both blushed.
"Well, alright, bye," they said their goodbyes and left us.
"Then the five of you will live in the apartments, and Len and I will be together," I stated and handed the key to Niall. "Also, I'll be waiting for you at the bar in an hour," I said, winking, and dragged Len to the room.
"What can I say," Len exclaimed, looking around. "This place is impressive."
"Well, thank you, thank you, I put a lot of work into it," I laughed. "So, what kind of job were you looking for?"
"Well, I can be an administrator or something similar. Calling people, planning things, etc.," she explained.
"I think I know where you could work," I said, considering it.
"Seriously? Where?" she brightened up.
"You see, I'm exhausted of ordering everything here for the concerts and the guys' travels, you know," I waved my hand. "So I'm passing this honor on to you. Of course, I will remain the manager and you'll have to consult with me on everything, but you'll be my assistant."
"Thank you, Lu!" she shrieked and started jumping. "You're the best!"
"I know, I know, I am Luanna Perez, after all," I laughed.
"And I'm Len Perez!" she continued.
"And we're the best!" we said together, as if we were back in childhood.
"And now, hurry up, we're going to the bar to celebrate!" I cheered and led her into the room.
"It's amazing!" she said, looking around.
"I chose the style myself. I know," I patted her on the shoulder as I walked past and sat down on the far side of the bed by the window.
"I want the window side!" she declared.
"You can't have everything just by being my little cousin," I laughed and lay down.
"But I always get the window," she whined.
"That's life—it changes," I chuckled.
"You've gotten so smart," she grimaced.
"Well, I did finish college, what do you expect," I snorted.
"You probably barely hung on in there," she lay down next to me.
"You gave me a good idea," I said, turning to her. "We'll go there on January 1st. On my birthday. We'll see if they still keep their promise," I grinned.
We arrived at the bar with Len and saw that all our people had already gathered there. We said hello, and I immediately went over to the DJ, who was playing still-quiet music.
"Hello," he greeted me politely.
"Hi, hi, give me the microphone and get ready to play some great music, okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, what kind would be better? Something good for dancing?" he clarified.
"That's exactly what we need," I grinned, and he handed me the microphone. "Hello!" I greeted loudly, instantly getting the attention of everyone there. "I'm Luanna Perez, the owner of this hotel," I introduced myself and received applause. "I'm very grateful that you are here and using the services of my hotel," I thanked them. "And I hope you are satisfied and have no complaints. If you do, tell me immediately," I quickly added. "Getting to the point. Since I've arrived, and since you're already in the bar, we can celebrate a little. We purposefully put the bar on the lowest floor so it wouldn't be heard in the rooms, so don't worry, and have some fun with us!" I shouted and signaled the guy to start the music. And so the party began.
Morning
I was being shaken, and I guessed it was Len.
"What do you need?" I mumbled.
"You're being called downstairs for important matters, quickly," she hurried to me.
I quickly got ready and rushed downstairs. When I reached the first floor, one of the security guards approached me.
"Forgive us for waking you, but the fans are getting uncontrollable. People need to enter, but there's no way through," he explained the situation.
I nodded and quickly ran to the reception desk. I grabbed the phone and dialed the boys' room number.
N: "Hello?"
L: "Gather the other three idiots and get downstairs as fast as you can. The fans are out of control, and I need your help," I quickly said and ended the call.
I pulled a megaphone out of a cabinet and, calling the same security guard over, asked him to let me outside. All the girls were singing One Direction songs.
"Can I have silence?!" I said through the megaphone, standing on the security guard's back. Slowly, they quieted down. "I understand that you love them, but you are obstructing traffic and everything else. Now, raise your hands if you actually want to get into the hotel, and not just see One Direction," I asked, and a few people raised their hands. I motioned for them to move forward and let them inside, then continued speaking. "So, your idols should come out quickly, but you'll have to leave here ten minutes after they appear, because otherwise we'll take more serious measures, clear?" And I heard a few cheers of support.
I went back inside, and the boys were already standing there. "I need you to take pictures for ten minutes, etc., and then you'll be free for two weeks," I asked, and they nodded. "Good luck!"
