Chapter 11 - Game of Trust and Secrets

The Next Morning

Someone sleeping next to me through their leg over me as they rolled over. I tried to ignore it, but now that "someone" started snoring.

"Nooo," I whined and started wriggling.

Someone started laughing, but not the person lying on me. "Get him off, you idiots!"

"I don't think so, stay put for a bit longer," Josh giggled.

"I'm going to kill you!" I growled and started wriggling again, but he was too heavy. Plus, I hadn't exercised in a year.

"Lost your strength?" he mocked.

"I haven't exercised in over a year!" I squealed when the guy completely rolled over on top of me.

"So much for being the most athletic person here," he didn't stop mocking.

"Josh!" I screamed, but he just laughed. "Someone?!"

"What's going on here?" Niall came in, his voice hoarse.

"Help," I shrieked in a whisper.

"Josh, why are you just standing there?" he asked.

"What difference does it make, just help me!" I hissed.

"Well, you see, this view gives me satisfaction," Josh said, shrugging and leaning against the door frame.

"Maybe you two want to reconcile?" Niall asked, freeing me.

"We were never fighting. He just annoys and irritates me," I replied, stretching as I stood up from the bed.

"I agree. She's just annoying," Josh nodded.

"And she pays your salary," I reminded him.

"Yes, yes," he muttered and left the room, and we followed him.

"Find and wake the others. We need to get ready for the plane. You guys are taking the same one, right?" I said.

"Yeah. Alright, let's go find them," Niall said, calling Josh.

I sat down on the stairs and pulled my phone out of my back jeans pocket. 9:26 AM. Three more hours until the plane. I quickly found someone's number. This was going to be fun...

Niall's POV:

After finding the rest of the guys, we headed downstairs, where we saw Luanna sitting. Everyone fell silent, as if knowing we were about to try to scare her. But everything was cut short when we realized she was talking on the phone.

"Hello, hello," she greeted. "Long time no see. I know, I know, I'm so sorry, but everything will work out. Yes. I'll tell you when we meet, because the idiots are listening to my conversation."

She turned to us, gave us an angry look, and turned back.

"So, I heard you're in New York. That means you have an hour and a half to pack and get to the airport. No, I have the ticket for you. No arguments, just hurry up. Oh, it's going to be so much fun. Tour, parties, my hotels, fans. Yes, of course," she chuckled while we listened intently. "Don't worry, I'll pay. Seriously, everything is perfect. You'll see. Of course, I'll help you. Don't even think about it. The plane is in three hours, so you'll make it easily. Yeah, we'll grab something to eat first and then that's it. Okay, see you soon. I promise, you'll see. They'll understand, they'll understand," she nodded her head. "Alright, bye. Call me when you get there," she finished the conversation, put the phone in her jeans pocket, and turned to us with a smile.

Well, I don't even know how to describe it. Satisfied, vengeful, happy, and something else. Like I said, incomprehensible.

"Who were you talking to?" Liam asked.

"No one," she chuckled to herself.

"Luanna, what's going on? Who are you meeting at the airport? Who is going to travel with us?" Louis was now curious too.

"Don't worry, Louis, it's not like you're my least favorite guy in the band," she gave him a falsely sweet smile.

"Lu, who will be with us on tour?" Jake asked.

She pointed a finger at him to come closer. He did, and she whispered something in his ear. His reaction was incredible. His eyes widened, his lips formed an 'O', but it eventually turned into a smug smile. He went back to standing with us, leaving her there and whispering something to Beth. Of course, her reaction was the same.

"I don't like this," Josh muttered.

"I don't like you," Luanna retorted.

"You know my response," he shot back.

"Alright, enough!" Gabi shouted. "First, let's go eat. Second, we'll talk about everything there."

Everyone agreed, and we went outside. Guess where we went to eat. Of course, Nando's. Everyone ordered their food and paid. Of course, Luanna had to pay for Len, but no matter.

"Now, are you going to tell us who you were talking to?" Liam asked, sitting down next to Gabi.

"Nope," Luanna answered with a grin.

"Why do they get to know, and we don't?" Josh asked.

"That sentence reminds me of old times," she sighed.

"What?" Len asked.

"Ohhh," Louis dragged out. "Back after practice, right? When you broke Josh's nose?"

"Yep, I still thought you were the nicest of the three of you back then," she pointed a finger at Josh, Louis, and me. "How stupid I was," she laughed at herself.

"Can you forgive me already? What's done is done," Louis grumbled.

"Listen, I'm mad at you, and I probably will be for the rest of my life unless you do one thing," she replied.

"What? I'll do anything," he pleaded. "I can't stand your hatred anymore."

"I won't tell you," she crossed her arms. "You have to figure it out yourself."

"Oh God," he sighed, burying his head in his hands out of despair.

"And only then will I forgive you. Only then," she declared.

"Good luck," Liam said, patting Louis on the shoulder.

"Life is very hard," Louis muttered.

"It certainly is," I laughed and started eating my food.

"I take it you won't tell us who you were talking to," Harry said.

"Nope," she replied, grinning.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because it's none of your business. That person is traveling with me, not with you," she answered.

"It's our tour, so they're with us," Liam added.

"I'm in charge of the tour, and if you don't like it, I'll order another bus just for me," she grimaced. "Well, Len will order it, to be precise."

"Why Len?" Harry was confused.

"Because she's my assistant, since I'm too lazy to order everything here for you sometimes, and she needs a job, so… She'll order it," she explained.

"That's true," Len confirmed.

"You guys are only traveling with these backpacks, right?" I asked, and everyone nodded. "I'll call a taxi quickly, and we'll leave. It takes quite a bit of time to get from here to the airport anyway."

She took out her phone and called a taxi. Everyone waited in strange silence.

"Does anyone know what that one thing is that would make her forgive me?" Louis asked, unable to contain himself.

Everyone shook their heads. "Beth? Jake?"

"I genuinely have no idea this time," Beth admitted.

"Me neither," Jake agreed. "She never mentioned that she even planned to forgive you."

"Seriously?" Louis asked.

"Exactly," Jake nodded. "This is purely her idea. Her secret alone. And none of us will probably find out unless you do it," he said, smiling sympathetically.

"How am I supposed to know?" Louis gripped his head with his hands. "I don't want the person I'm stuck with to hate me for the rest of my life."

Finally, we all arrived at the airport, but everyone was restless. Everyone was curious about the mysterious person. As we walked, we tried to catch a glimpse through the journalists, but it was nearly impossible. There were too many of them. I could already see how many articles would be written about One Direction and their manager traveling, even during the holidays.

We were all walking in a group, but Luanna suddenly saw something, forcefully pushed the journalists aside, and ran to hug some girl. They started swaying, but none of us could see her face clearly. When they let go of each other, everything was revealed.

"What?!" we all shouted, and Beth ran towards them.
