"What's happening?" Selina questioned.
"Something came up. I'm supposed to meet Grey's mother, and it's happening at this hotel," I explained. "Head to the party without me; I'll catch up soon."
"Fine, but your mother-in-law isn't exactly friendly. If she's suddenly requesting a hotel meeting, watch yourself," Selina cautioned.
"I understand." I smiled and glanced at my phone, where Dalia had sent a considerate message. [Please collect the room key from the hotel reception.]
