Grey turned his head toward the party hall's massive screen. Instead of the usual event banner and welcome message, he saw something that made his blood freeze—his mother, his sister, Evelin, and two men he didn't recognize.
Evelin was slumped against a bedside, while the two strangers advanced on her with obvious bad intentions.
His mother, Dalia, wore a twisted expression as she spoke.
His mind went completely blank. He couldn't process what he was seeing.
Grace's face drained of color beside him. 'What the hell is this? I know the Ford women planned something against Evelin, but why is this footage playing at the party? Who's behind this?'
As Grace panicked, Evelin's voice came through the speakers, breathless: "Aren't you afraid of facing legal consequences for this?"
"Legal consequences? Who's going to witness it?"
