Chapter 8 - Chapter 8- Dimension hop

What seemed to be a normal day was about to turn into the strangest longest day ever. Sam was staring at his reflection making funny faces because he is a but hole. Devin, his husband, was asking him to do something which he just ignored. For hours Sam just did what he wanted, messing with stuff and making messes. "I wish I could see the other me's."Sam said out loud.

All of the sudden a green vortex surrounded Sam pulling him up into it. He was zipping through some weird cloud stuff. He saw nothing until he was half way into this huge pipe looking thing. On the outside was this little girl. Her features were skewed. The only thing he could tell about her is that she had long black hair.

At the end of the tunnel he was spit out into a new world…

Dimension 7

Denver, a solitary figure, resides on the streets, constantly subjected to beatings from others. He stands as the last of his kind, a forgotten entity in a world indifferent to his plight. His frail frame, weighing under 90 pounds, bears the scars of countless assaults, leaving him terrified of everyone he encounters.

Next to him, a boy with a frightened expression stood, his arms crossed over his face. "Don't hurt me," the boy cried out. "I'm not going to hit you. I'm Sam. What's your name?" Sam offered a small smile. The boy slowly uncovered his scarred face. Sam experienced a new sensation.

In a sudden turn of events, two large men surrounded the boy and Sam. One of the men attempted to seize the boy, prompting Sam to swiftly grab the other man's arm and push him aside. "Hey, what did you do that for?" the bulky man exclaimed, swinging his fist. Sam skillfully dodged the punch and retaliated with a kick to the man's face. He then swiftly jumped onto a fire escape and extended his hand to the other, urging him to follow. The other quickly took Sam's hand, and together they ran to the rooftop. However, their respite was short-lived, as the menacing men soon caught up to them.

"Do you trust me?" Sam asked the other who was panicking. "For some reason I do." the other said with the tiniest smile. Sam grabbed him holding him close to his chest as he leaped over a huge gap onto another building. "They won't be able to get over here for awhile" Sam said, panting a bit. "Why did you do that?" the other said, looking down at the gravel. "You don't deserve to be beaten up.you already have nowhere to live.i can tell you have no one but you don't seem like a bad person so why would you deserve this." Sam said as the green portal opened back up.

With a fearful "No!" Sam exclaimed as the force lifted him. Struggling, he extended his hand towards the young boy. "My name is Zam," the boy introduced himself, his hand reaching out, and their fingertips lightly brushed against each other. Tears streamed down Zam's face, his emotions swirling into the vortex with Sam. As the vortex shrank, Zam's voice echoed in anguish, "Please don't go!"

Now Sam was in a new world in what seemed to be an absolutely huge prison. This guy with blond hair that goes past his butt. He is locked up in a padded cell because they believe he killed his whole family. Instead of sending him to prison they thought he was mentally insane. Due to the fact that he was crying over their dead bodies. He wanted to bury his own family in the family cemetery so the cops figured he must have killed them then felt bad only long enough to put on a show. After his show he was going to continue doing what he planned to do.

Sam got closer to the man with fabric tied around his head. It had a knot in it that part was in his mouth. "Why would they gag a mental patient this is not way back in the day is it?" Sam said out loud. He then went over to the man taking the gag off the man. He opened his sky blue eyes. "Who are you?" the man asked, moving around in his straight jacket.

"Samual lee denver. Who are you?" Sam asked, looking a little afraid. "I am maxamad." the man said with a deep gruff voice. looking now at Sam under his long bangs. "Why are you locked up here?" Sam asked without thinking.

"I got locked up as a child because my family got killed but I didn't know who and I was found crying over the graves I dug. I thought they needed to rest so they could go to heaven but the police said I was crazy and locked me up here." maxamad said, looking down to the ground. At first Sam did not believe maxamad. "I know you do not believe me but i know you are different please let me show." maxamad said, wiggling around in his straight jacket.

Although Sam believed it was ill-advised, he attempted to remove the straitjacket from Maxamad, but it was securely locked. Oddly enough, Sam had his pocket knife in his possession. He put his hand in his pocket happily pulling it out. With a swift movement, he sliced off Maxamad's straps. His stature appeared to increase as he broke free from the straight jacket. In a lightning-fast maneuver, he grasped the back of Sam's head.

As the two heads made contact, Sam observed the incident through Maxamad's young eyes. Shocked, Sam realized that Maxamad had not killed anyone; rather, he was grieving their loss. Recognizing a kindred spirit, Sam expressed empathy, acknowledging that Maxamad's youthful innocence precluded an understanding of death. Despite Sam's insistence that they escape, Maxamad, with a heavy heart, hesitated to leave the chair he was bound to.

"Come now, Maxamad," Sam urged, blasting the door open.

"I won't get in trouble, will I?" Maxamad asked cautiously, approaching him once the debris settled.

"No, you'll be free," Sam replied, dashing down the corridor. Maxamad followed closely until they found themselves surrounded by a throng of doctors. "Go, Sam. I'll be alright," Maxamad assured with a gentle smile. A diminutive doctor squeezed through the crowd.

"Maxamad!" the man exclaimed. Maxamad reciprocated with a "Zayden!"

"Let him be," Zayden said while embracing the giant. "He was just a child at the time and didn't know what death was. He couldn't have killed his family."

Sam uttered these words as the vortex suddenly opened, enveloping him and taking him away.

Dimension 8

Amidst the chaos of a raging battlefield, Sam found himself immersed in a perplexing situation. As he attempted to rise, a diminutive cat-like figure swiftly pulled him down to safety. "Are you out of your mind? You nearly got yourself shot!" exclaimed the feline creature, its voice unmistakably feminine. Sam, bewildered, found himself in the company of a military unit composed entirely of cat-like beings. "Why is there a little girl in this feline army?" he inquired, his gaze fixed upon the small, feminine cat-like figure before him. "I am not a girl, but a boy!" the cat-like creature squeaked with emphasis on each word. Sam, amused by the creature's high-pitched voice, let out a chuckle. The cat-like being then proceeded to drag Sam to the base.

Which was a mere dilapidated structure, falling into disrepair. With a hiss, the cat person, opened his jacket to reveal his chest, exclaiming, "I am a boy!". "So you bind your boobs, my other wife does that." Sam said just then the cat person took off their boot and threw it at Sam. The cat person, frustrated, groaned, "I am you, but in the form of a tinomi." He then fastened his jacket.

Sam giggled, "I don't think so." The cat person sobbed, "My name is Maxine." Sam laughed so hard that he fell over. "That's a girl's name!" Maxine snorted grumpily and walked back into the battlefield. "Sorry, but it's just funny that you want to be a boy so badly, but you look and sound like a girl." Sam said, wiping away tears.

In a tense situation, Maxine, a boy, held a massive gun and uttered, "You're so cruel." Sam, curious about the conflict, inquired, "What are you guys fighting against?" Maxine ignored him and fired a powerful shot into the distance. The explosion prompted Maxine to grab Sam and throw him into a trench for safety. Sam, perplexed, asked, "Why am I here?" Maxine, looking over the trench, explained, "You wanted to see your different selves, so you're traveling through each dimension until you reach the end." As a bullet whizzed past his ear, Maxine shrieked and jumped back into the trench.

However, Sam seemed confused. "Maxine isn't a name of Sam" Sam uttered, but Maxine immediately covered his mouth. "Hush! You shouldn't be here. If you die here, you'll destroy this world. Keep your eyes closed and don't leave this trench, no matter what you hear," Maxine whispered urgently. As soon as he finished speaking, Maxine leaped out of the trench.

In a moment of silence, Sam's ears perked up at the sound of growling and hissing. Suddenly, a stabbing sound pierced the air. For once, Sam's concern shifted away from himself and toward another person. Opening his eyes, he witnessed blood seeping down the trench's side. Crawling out, Sam discovered Maxine, wounded and in pain. "I told you it was too dangerous to come out," Maxine grimaced, clutching his injured side. "You're just a little kid. Your hurt," Sam expressed with genuine concern.

In a hoarse voice, Maxine coughed up blood and asserted, "I am not a child, I am millennia old." Sam, unmoved by Maxine's age, gently lifted him and carried him to the base, disregarding the statement. Despite his attempts to bandage the wound, Maxine's condition deteriorated as a fever raged through his body. Frustrated, Sam exclaimed, "Damn it!"

In a desperate attempt to save the tinomi's life, Sam found himself hoping to continue teasing this cat person. To Sam's surprise, a small child appeared in front of them. "You cried," the spirit child uttered, leaving Sam perplexed. Sam paused for a moment, contemplating the child's words. With unwavering determination, he asserted, "I have not. I am tough and brave. I have never shed a tear." Just then, Maxine's coughing intensified, bringing forth more blood.

Just standing there, the spirit child repeated, "You cried." Maxine started panting heavily, and Sam's eyes widened in recognition, remembering a particular sound of breathing he had heard before. "No, he would be fine if I weren't here," Sam said, tears forming in his eyes. The spirit child said again, "You cried." Sam cradled Maxine in his arms, limp and lifeless, and he burst into tears. "No!" Sam screamed, and his tears fell on the unresponsive tinomi.

After 10 minutes of sobbing, Sam's tears finally began to subside. Suddenly, a brilliant blue light enveloped Maxine, then faded away. Maxine's eyes fluttered open, and he saw Sam weeping over her. "So, you do like me?" Maxine inquired, prompting Sam to hastily wipe away his tears. "No, I just didn't want a little girl to die," Sam replied with a smile. Maxine raised an eyebrow. "You do realize I'm not a girl, right?" he asked as Sam carefully placed him down.

Maxine took off almost all his clothes. Showing Sam he did have a male sex organ then he unwrapped his chest showing him that in fact Maxine didn't have boobs. "I just wrap my chest because my nipples are sensitive" Maxine said, wrapping his chest back up. Sam didn't say anything at all, Maxine put new clothes back on. He then took Sam back to the place where they met.

This vortex opened and started sucking Sam up. "Remember when you said Maxine is not a name of Sam. This is complicated but Sam spelled backwards with a z is maz, you have also met zam which is Sam spelled with z. So if you take maz and spell it with a x that is how you get max '' Maxine said with a smile as a dog person came to stand beside him. "What is his name?" Sam asked as he was almost gone. "It will only confuse you. Not all of us have a guy named Devin but we all have a special person we love except one. By the way his name is alpha. Bye Sam thank you! '' Maxine shouted then as the vortex took Sam he whispered and snuggled into his lover.

Dimension 4

This Sam has a boyfriend named Devon as well but he is very top and this Sam lets his Devon do whatever he wants to him.Sam popped up when this Sam was laying naked in bed waiting for his lover. "Okay you're me but why are you naked and wearing a collar?" Sam looked confused and a bit disgusted. " oh devon said to stay here on the bed till he comes back." the man who looked almost exactly like our Sam explained.

"Yeah but why are you listening to him, aren't you a top?" Sam said, a little concerned. "Oh no no I am bottom that is why I am so tiny and I listen to my devon. '' the man said, sitting up covering his manly bits. His devon came into the room. "Who is this Samole?" Devon asked, looking at his lover. "He is me from another dimension." Samole replied with a grin on his face.

"You are good boy" devon said, rubbing Samoles head. Our Sam vanished from there shaking his head he never thought he would see that.

Dimension 10

Got locked in prison because he got framed for a bunch of robberies and murders. The strangest part was his guard believed he was innocent. When Sam popped in he was in front of this guy with his hands outside of the bars. "Let me guess you are also me but in prison" Sam said, being a bit snotty. "Who are you?" the guy said, putting his head on the bars.

With a smirk, "I am Samuel Lee Denver," Sam stated. The man sighed deeply, clearly depressed, and said, "Sampson." "What exactly are you doing here?" Sam inquired, glancing at the man. Sampson explained, "I allegedly robbed and killed several people." Sam's face registered confusion as he asked, "Allegedly?" Sampson, on the verge of tears, groaned and said, "I didn't commit any of those acts. I would never do anything like that to tarnish my family's reputation. I just want to see my family."

Upon hearing a commotion, the guard approached to investigate. Sampson advised, "Samuel, taven can't see you" Sam quickly moved behind the pillar near him "Sampson, what's happening? What was that racket?" Taven inquired, drawing closer to the cell and peering inside. Sampson responded, "Nothing, sir," with his hands still extended outside the cell door.

"Concern etched on his face, Taven uttered gently, "Sampson, are you injured?" With a tender touch, he lifted Sampson's chin and scrutinized his face. A crimson flush suffused Sampson's cheeks as he drew in each breath with a perceptible heaviness. His gaze sought solace in Taven's captivating eyes as he murmured, "I am okay." A profound understanding of Sampson's innocence filled Taven's heart. He had meticulously collected evidence, determined to clear Sampson's name and restore his freedom. But even as he rejoiced in the prospect of Sampson's release, a tinge of sadness crept into Taven's voice as he confessed, "I shall greatly miss you, Sampson." With a gentle gesture, Taven raised Sampson's chin even higher and, through the unyielding bars that separated them, sealed their bond with a tender kiss.

As the portal materialized beside Sam, a smile crept across his face. With newfound determination, he stepped into the unknown. "goodbye, Sampson," Sam murmured softly as he disappeared through the portal.

Dimension 1

In a land filled to the brim with sand. Inside of this big castle made of sand was a pharaoh sitting on his throne. Sam appeared in front of the half naked man who was surrounded by men and women who were also half naked. A man was feeding the pharaoh grapes along with any other fruit that was staked in a huge gold bowl. "Who are you?" the pharaoh asked Sam who looked dumbfounded. "I am Samuel Lee Denver, the third generation. I have literally said that so many times" Sam said, staring at all the people who were waiting on the man's hand and foot.

"I am Samoyla the pharaoh born to my father who also was a pharaoh. I am the pharaoh of love and prosperity. These are all my concubines, they love me" Samoyla declared, smiling . "So you are me but a pharaoh?" Sam asked, a bit confused. "Are you from dimension 6? "Samoyla asked, laying back in his chair.

" I believe so i dont know." Sam said, looking confused."You can stay here with me." Samoyla said, sitting up then clapping. "Servants fetch our guest some food and some new clothes.since he is me.he is a pharaoh until he has to go back to his dimension." Samoyla demanded. These men dressed Sam in royal attire while these women fed him.

This was a regular thing while Sam was there. Anything he asked for he could have. They would rub his feet or anything that he wanted. A back massage is no problem. Everything felt so perfect. Sam was there so long he was sure he could just stay there.

One day he was taking a bath when in the water he saw a little girl.she looked like the one he had seen with the cat tinomi. "You cried." She said he turned around really fast to see no one was there. He was all alone in this river bathing. "Why is that girl following me?" Sam said to himself.

Later he was thinking what any of this had to do with anything. He could not find a rhyme or reason. He kept thinking about what said. 'I never have cried, I am strong' Sam thought to himself. He went back to the castle made of sand. When the vortex opened op and took him.

Dimension 21

After being with Samolya for so long knowing the feeling of being pampered. He was wooshed to a place that looked like home.Sam actually thought he was home. He even tried to go into his house but there was only one house at the end of the road from the school. This Sam and his family were normal. Lee was the father and of course Carrie was the mother. They all looked so plain and boring.

"You have no powers?" Sam inquired, kind of sad. "powers ?" the other Sam said, looking up at him from where he was sitting on the floor. "You know, like magic?" Sam asked confused and frankly a bit concerned. "Oh no no that is only in fairytales." the other Sam said."What is your name?" Sam asked. "Samule" the young man said with a slight smile.

"I am more confused than i was before.i have way more questions" Sam said as the normal dimension started fading away

Skip through

Everything was now hazy. He saw flashes of different dimensions flash by. Each one of the other Sams said their names. Samatha,Max,Sammel, xam,Samuel as child and as a teen.Samborn,Samwell,Samie,Sammax and it continued like that with the girl also popping up in the haze.

Dimension 20

In the somber confines of a darkened hospital room, a boy lay on a bed, a figure of fragility against the stark white sheets. By his bedside sat another boy, his dark features etched with anguish as he clasped the pale hand of the invalid. "I love you so much, Samee," the latter uttered, his voice trembling with emotion. The bedridden boy, sam watched his counterpart from another dimension with a sense of resignation. He knew that this was the him from a parallel universe, stricken with an illness that had left him weak and vulnerable. The identity of the companion at his side remained a mystery—whether a friend or a lover, their presence was a source of comfort and support in his time of need.

With a hint of sadness in her voice, the girl trailing behind Sam uttered, "You've shed tears." Sam exclaimed, "I don't know who you are or why it concerns you if I've cried." Sadly, his cries went unheard. Meanwhile, a doctor entered the room to attend to the patient in the bed.

AAfter examining the patient, the doctor's face fell with sorrow. "Tanner, I have difficult news to share," the doctor said solemnly. Tanner's eyes widened, and a look of concern washed over his face. "he is ill. I wish it wasn't so," Tanner said, his voice heavy with emotion. The doctor reached out and placed a gentle hand on Tanner's shoulder. "I was going to tell you that, even though he is sick, I don't believe he will be with us for much longer. However, he fights every day just to see you, even though it is difficult for him. Perhaps it would be best if we let him go peacefully," the doctor explained, his words echoing the weight of the situation.

At that very moment, Sam was overcome with memories of a time when his sister had been gravely ill, and he had been informed that she might not survive. The intensity of his emotions, screaming and crying, closely resembled the agony he witnessed in the man before him. Sam's love and concern for his sister were immense; she was not only younger than him, but he cherished and cared for her deeply.

No Sam at all

Initially, all he could perceive was a world engulfed in flames. Afterward, it transformed into a familiar world, yet distinct from the prototypes he was accustomed to. The absence of everything and everyone was palpable. As it gradually faded away, he found himself enveloped in darkness.

Last dimension

Sam stood, eyes wide with a mix of awe and trepidation, in the presence of a towering version of himself. Before him, a crystal screen displayed a multitude of dimensions, each a shimmering realm. "Where am I?" Sam's voice echoed in a space that seemed both familiar and utterly alien. "This is the end," a deep, resonant voice intoned. Sam turned to face the massive figure. "What is this place?" he asked, his confusion evident. With a single swipe of a finger across the screen, the colossal Sam explained, "These monitors allow me to observe all forty-nine dimensions, ensuring that everything runs smoothly."

The dimension lacked the presence of Sam. Inquiring about his dimension, Sam turned to the imposing man. The man scrolled through his device and replied, "Dimension 6." With disappointment evident in his voice, Sam acknowledged, "I guess not." With a cryptic message, "You must discover your own dimension or retrace your steps," the colossal man vanished, leaving me in contemplation.

In a moment of distress, Sam sat down, crying. The screen flickered and displayed an image of Maz, who was also sitting and crying. Sam's heart sank as he realized his lover was nowhere to be seen. Desperately, Sam placed his hand on the screen, and to his surprise, Maz mirrored his action. In that instant, their foreheads met in a synchronized gesture on the mirror's surface.

""Maz, I am so sorry for causing you pain and making you lose your boyfriend. I deeply regret my actions and didn't mean to wreck your dimension. I know that my pain is not something I want to share with you, and I wish I could find a way to make up for my mistakes. If I return to my dimension, I fear I'll forget all of this, but I sincerely want to make things right," Sam said, looking up at Maz with tears in his eyes.
