Ava was driving back home from work after a very long day at the office.
She was so exhausted that the only thing she could think of at the moment was to get home and get under the hot shower.
Excitement crept into her heart when she realized that she was almost home.
As she got nearer and nearer, she saw a silhouette of a man along a very dark alley leading to her house.
She peered closer to realize that he wasn't the only one, there were six other men in front of him. He was in trouble!.
Her survival instinct kicked in, they weren't looking like ordinary people, what could that man have done to offend that many people.
Some people didn't really know what it meant to stay in their lanes.
She didn't want them to see her, thereby putting her in big trouble for something that she clearly knew nothing about.
She wanted to reverse her car, intending to take another route to her house.
"Are you really going to let those scumbags beat an innocent guy up?" Emily asked in amusement.
She groaned in frustration, she was really tired and needed rest.
"Alright, let's be quick" Ava said to Emily.
She heaved a sigh and got down from her car walking straight toward them.
while she was walking towards them, her head was upright staring directly at the man in the middle.
Based on her observations that was their leader, the guy they were facing had his back to her so he couldn't see her approaching them.
As she came close, they were all staring at her like they saw a ghost.
She walked to them standing right in front of the guy.
she shoved her phone in his hands and then whispered to him " I'm here to help you, don't worry".
"what do you all want with my brother?...tsk tsk cornering him like this, aren't y'all afraid of getting sued?".
She asked in a very cold tone clearly indicating that she was pissed.
The man in the middle studied her with cold eyes.
"Dylan what's this?, You brought your little girlfriend to come save your stupid a**?, what sort of a man are you?".
A shabby man stepped forward to say, making fun of the man she stood in front of, making the others laugh.
she tilted her head a little to the back just in time to see that the guy's head was hung low, he was probably embarrassed.
Ava couldn't read his expressions because he was wearing a face mask.
"That's enough! I'll ask one last time, what do you all want with him?" she asked again trying not to lose her temper.
She was clearly upset, firstly she was being called "little".
Secondly she was longing to go home and they were elongating the process.
"little girl, didn't you think twice before stepping into a problem that's clearly not yours to begin with?". Another person chimed in.
She felt a bit guilty because he was right, she didn't know what happened before interfering in their matter.
All the same they looked like they were going to harm the poor guy.
"Do I need to have any reason to help my brother from scumbags like you?".
She asked them looking intensely at every one of them, including the one that appears to be their leader.
One of them was about to respond, then she shut him up with just a wave of her hands.
The leader of those men and the guy she was shieldwas surprised at the domineering Aura she possessed.
"I'll fight everyone one of you here if you let him go". she said, trying to bargain with them.
They all looked at each other and laughed like they heard a joke.
Their leader just quietly stood observing Ava.
She turned her head to the guy at her back and whispered to him "If things get rough, run!!".
He looked at Ava not saying anything at all but just staring at her.
"Are you scared to take on a little girl like me?"
She asked, trying to provoke them to fight her.
"What a joke!, Little girl, get out of the way, let's get down to business with the person we came here for, we're nice enough not to even hold a grudge against your annoying interruption!".
The leader of the gang said clearly annoyed looking at Ava square in the eye.
"I now know that you all are nothing but weaklings!" she said pulling the last string.
With one look from the leader, two huge looking men from the circle stepped forward.
They both had smug looks on their faces. It was so disgusting and it gave her the creeps.
She smiled and just stood still, her hands in her pockets.
She just looked at them both in utter amazement.
They both stepped forward, looking at her menacingly.
They were expecting her to look pitiful and plead for mercy but she didn't do any of those, Instead her hands were still in her pockets, her eyes fixed on them.
She smirked and brought out one hand from her pocket, which she used to slowly guide the guy behind to her back shielding him.
The two thugs were coming closer and closer to Ava, cracking their knuckles and heads trying to make her feel intimidated.
Instead Ava gave them a mocking smile which infuriated them, making them launch at her with speed.
The guy at the back was ready to pull her behind him to shield her when a voice in his head said "Wait a bit, Don't touch her"
The first guy charged furiously at Ava wanting to lift her up from the ground.
She sensed his move in time and skillfully dodged to the side, delivering a powerful kick to his ribs.
He groaned in pain and fell down to the ground with full force landing on his ribs.
The second man also rushed at Ava, she kicked him right in the face without giving him any chance make any move.
She stood still and heaved a sigh, one hand in her pocket, the other she used to tuck the strand of hair that was covering her face behind my ear.
Putting her hands back into her pocket she faced the remaining 2 men and their leader.
"Next" she said coldly. The leader was looking at Ava with a piercing gaze. Her actions piqued his interest.
She ignored him and faced one of the men, walking slowly toward him.
As Ava walked towards him slowly she thought he was gonna move back but then he didn't, she then suspected something was wrong.
Their gazes were locked, then for a split second he looked away at then back at Ava, she got the message.
With a swift move she ducked and then the punch that was meant for her went straight to the guy she was standing in front of.
She stood up, grabbed the guy behind her by his collar.
At the same time using her leg to deliver a powerful kick to the chest of the guy in front of her making him fall backwards with blood gushing out of his mouth and nostrils.
Ava held the hands of the guy she held by the collar and twisted it to the back.
Ava didn't stop there, she continued twisting and twisting till she dislocated his hands from their sockets.
The air was filled with a loud cracking sound of his hand dislocating from their sockets and his deafening wailing.
She heaved a sigh and said kicking him
"Tsk…tsk so noisy what have your master taught you all these years?".
The leader continued to stare at Ava intensely with the last man standing close to him clearly afraid.
If looks could kill, she was sure gonna be one thousand feets underground.
"Who are you?" Their leader asked, staring at Ava coldly with an intense gaze.
He could guess the aura around her, she wasn't an ordinary person
