"Ellie your mother's surgery cost $500,000", Stark her doctor friend told her.
Ellie's mother Terra had been battling cancer for a year now and needs immediate surgery.
Ellie works in the hospital as a nurse and her monthly salary was just $50,000. She has asked her friends and family but no one has been willing to help her except her friend Stark who works in the same hospital as her as a doctor.
"Ellie what did the doctor say", asked her mother Tessa.
"Don't worry mum the doctor said you will be fine", replied Ellie.
"Ellie I really do not want to hold you back, I want you to be happy and live your best life my baby girl".
Ellie trying to sound convincing and feigning a false smile, "I'm happy mum and I will be happier when you are fully recovered and with me". You will be okay mum, Ellie added trying to convince herself more.
The next day
"Doctor are you sure Terra's kidney is a match?, Fiona, Ellie's step mother asked with a wicked smirk on her face.
Doctor..."yes".
"Then I want you to get her to sign an organ donation agreement", she said slipping a brown envelope into the doctor's hand.
" I don't care what method you use but she has to sign the agreement and then you transplant her kidney for my son", said Fiona.
Ellie got into her mother's ward and saw blood on the ground, an ominous feeling rose up in her heart. Looking up at the bed she saw her mother, lifeless, covered in white cloth, surprised she started crying and demanded an explanation.
Her stepmother came in from the opposite ward with a evil grin on her face and showed her the organ donation form saying that her mum donated her kidneys to her son.
'What is all the commotion about Ellie your mum was in a hurry to die and she signed the form at least she did a good deed with her pathetic life", she said sarcastically.
Ellie refused to believe her mother would just give up on her life, she can vaguely imagine what could have transpired between Fiona and her mum. She started crying demanding an explanation but there was no one to ask especially with the transfer form proving everything to be true.
Ellie held her mum crying bitterly, determined to find out the truth and avenge her mother's death.
