Charlotte knew that calling Ava's name would not even work out.
Ava then left the room and started heading out towards the field at the back.
Naturally Charlotte followed her thinking she wanted to train, on getting to the field Ava passed and started going down.
Charlotte was now agitated and scared she didn't want Ava to go out, thereby putting herself in arms way to rogue.
Ava started leaping and then broke into a fierce run going in a particular direction.
Charlotte knew that she couldn't stop her; she had no choice but to follow her cautiously.
After several minutes of nonstop running, Ava stopped at a very vast land.
They had surely crossed their boundaries and we're now into trouble.
Charlotte was scared, she was told by her father never to cross her boundaries which was behind those woods she was now out of because she would be directly giving herself to those rogues.
She knew she couldn't leave Ava out there on her own especially because her wolf was rare and special.
Ava stopped abruptly in front of a large wolf laying nearby, it looked weak, the wolf was very large with silk brown fur.
Its eyes were tightly shut, as it exhaled slowly.
As Ava was approaching the wolf that lay on the ground, she felt a very strong connection emanating from him.
Emily, Ava's wolf jumped up and down in excitement and she screamed the word "Mate".
Ava was trying so hard to control Emily, his faint warm scandalwood scent filled her nostrils making her mouth water and wanting to merge herself with him at once.
She was really shocked, she had never felt that way before.
She was so confused about the familiarity and the connection she felt towards the wolfe at first time.
Emily immediately explained to her that it was the mate bond, that was her mate, finally she had found her mate.
Raven, Dylan's mate on the other hand was jumping in Dylan's head as he screamed the word "Mate".
He was so very excited, yet Dylan was so weak that he couldn't move a muscle.
She used her paw to bring his face to hers, she made his forehead and hers touch, then she closed her eyes and waited.
Ava wasn't herself anymore, she allowed Emily to take full control of her body. She could feel what she was doing.
The bond she felt during those two minutes of being close to him was really amazing and unforgettable.
Charlotte just looked at them both with fear and amusement in her eyes.
It was so strange, Ava had finally found her mate.
After some seconds, the paw of the black Wolf moved, he was slowly recovering, Ava didn't wait for him to open his eyes before she disappeared into the woods again heading home.
Before Charlotte followed Ava, she looked up and noticed that a large pack of wolves were gathered ahead not too far from where she was standing.
Great! Now Ava was exposed, her secret was out because by morning the news was gonna be let out that a Red wolf was seen.
Charlotte followed Ava and disappeared into the woods, as Charlotte was going back a disgusting stench hit her nostrils.
She saw dead wolves around with blood splattered everywhere.
She was sure with no doubt that they were rogues and the killer was Ava.
She was surprisingly strong that she could take down 3 strong rogues in a matter of minutes.
Charlotte carefully made her way back to Ava's house, on getting there Ava was laying down on the floor in her human form naked.
Charlotte didn't know what to make out of what happened that night. Ava was passed out cold on the floor.
Charlotte changed back to her human form too, then picked up Ava from the floor and put her gently on the bed next to Aurora.
Charlotte then wore a new robe from Ava's closet and joined Ava and Aurora on the bed.
She didn't want to go back to her house as it was already late and she was tired.
Charlotte got close to Aurora, then Aurora turned to her and snuggled into her embrace.
It happened in a flash, she sensed it that Aurora was dying slowly, she was so surprised.
She touched her again and then nothing, she just shrugged and assumed that she was overthinking.
When she heard from Ava this morning that Aurora's hair was glowing then she knew that what she felt the previous night was real.
They got to the hospital and parked at the parking lot, they had already booked an appointment with their family doctor.
While they were taking the elevator to his office, Ava asked
"Mum?, why are we in the hospital, are you sick"?.
The question was so innocent that it made Ava's heart ache a bit, she didn't know why she felt that way.
Charlotte noticed that Ava was hesitating to answer and said " No baby, we're just here for a general check-up, nothing serious".
"Okay if you say so, I really can't wait for my surprise" Aurora said getting excited once more.
Ava looked down at her baby and smiled a bitter smile, secretly hoping that she'll be okay.
They went into the doctors office after they got notified by his secretary that they were asked to come in.
"Good day doctor" Aurora greeted with a smiley face completely making a false facade, covering up what she was feeling moments ago.
"Long time no see ma'am, is that Aurora?" The doctor asked with a smile on his face, his gaze shifting to Aurora.
He helped with the delivery of Aurora and hadn't seen her till now.
Ava just smiled and confirmed and said that she was the one.
Ava was getting really impatient and told the doctor why they were there.
That they wanted a full check up on Aurora.
The doctor nodded and got to work, he took Aurora into the lab for the check up while Ava and Charlotte waited.
A few minutes later they were all done with taking a series of tests and Aurora was back with them.
The doctor told them to wait for the results. About an hour later the doctor called them in telling them the results were ready.
Ava and Charlotte went in telling Aurora to wait for them in the car so that they would join her shortly.
After handing her to the security guard and ensuring that he took her to wait in the car for them safely, they both went to the doctor's office.
"After a series of tests carried out on Aurora, she has been diagnosed to have...…"
The doctor was saying.
Charlotte's heart was beating twice as fast, Ava held her breath in anticipation, her hands were shaking slightly and her eye were transfixed on the doctor.
".... Terminal disease" The doctor finally said.
