(Keifer POV)
The yacht sliced through the azure waters, its sleek hull cutting a path toward Jay's private island. The sun hung low, casting a golden hue over the sea, and the gentle hum of the engine was the only sound that accompanied our journey.
I stood at the bow, feeling the wind tug at my hair, my thoughts drifting to Jayjay. She was below deck, probably lost in her thoughts or maybe just enjoying the ride. Her presence always had a calming effect on me.
"Keifer, this is insane!" Adrian's voice broke through my reverie. I turned to see him and his sister, both wide-eyed as they took in the luxury of the yacht.
"Yeah, Jay's certainly not lacking in the wealth department," his sister added, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
I chuckled, nodding. "She deserves every bit of it."
As we neared the island, the mansion came into view—a sprawling estate perched on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the vast ocean. The sight took my breath away.
Jayjay emerged from below deck, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the island. "Wow," she whispered, her voice filled with awe.
I reached out, taking her hand in mine. "Welcome to paradise."
Later, at the Mansion
The mansion was everything I had imagined and more. Spacious rooms, luxurious furnishings, and panoramic views that made it feel like we were on top of the world.
Jayjay had fallen asleep on the couch, exhaustion from the journey taking its toll. I gently lifted her, cradling her in my arms. "Time for you to rest," I murmured, carrying her to one of the guest rooms.
As I laid her down on the bed, I couldn't help but smile. She looked peaceful, her features soft in slumber. I brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, my fingers lingering on her skin.
The door creaked open behind me, and I turned to see the rest of Section E standing there, grinning mischievously.
"Looks like someone's found their paradise," Yuri teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
I rolled my eyes, a smirk tugging at my lips. "Go on, get out of here."
But they didn't leave. Instead, they crowded into the room, continuing their playful banter.
"Keifer and Jayjay, sitting in a tree," Rory began, his voice sing-song.
"First comes love," Ci-N chimed in.
"Then comes marriage," David added with a wink.
I groaned, burying my face in my hands. "Seriously?"
They erupted into laughter, and I couldn't help but join in. Despite the teasing, it felt good to have everyone here, sharing in these moments.
As the laughter died down, I glanced at Jayjay, still peacefully asleep. I leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "Sweet dreams, meddler."
The others filed out, leaving me alone with her. I sat by her side, watching over her as she slept, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me.
