Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 – Sun, Sand, and Teasing

(keifer pov)

The soft golden light of the morning sun filtered through the master bedroom curtains. I opened my eyes slowly and immediately felt jayjay nestled in my arms, her hair brushing lightly against my chest.

I smiled softly. "Morning, Jay… you make it hard to get up," I whispered.

She stirred, mumbling something, but didn't move. I chuckled quietly and finally got up, careful not to disturb her too much.

Downstairs, the mansion was already alive. Eman and Adrian were busy cooking breakfast, flipping pancakes and stirring eggs. Ci-N ran around outside, laughing as she chased a butterfly. Yuri was still asleep on the sofa, stretching lazily. The island was buzzing with life.

I went back upstairs, expecting Jayjay to still be in bed, but she was already in the bathroom, brushing her hair. I knocked lightly. "Food's ready."

She smiled over her shoulder. "Thanks, Kief. I'll be down in a sec."

Soon, we gathered in the dining area. Breakfast was a cheerful, loud affair, full of teasing and laughter. After finishing, Jayjay offered to wash the plates.

"Hey, I would help too," ciel said, stepping forward. So, Jjayjay and she washed together, water splashing, laughter erupting, while the others teased them from across the kitchen.

Finally, ci-n clapped his hands. "Truth or dare!" he shouted. "Let's play!"

Everyone gathered in a circle, spinning a bottle in the middle.

The first spin landed on Rory. ci-n grinned. "Truth: Have you ever had a girlfriend before?"

Rory blushed slightly. "Maybe… once or twice," he admitted, making the group laugh.

The next spin landed on eman. This time, ci-n asked a funny, teasing question about minor pranks she had pulled, and everyone laughed at her exaggerated reaction.

The bottle spun again and landed on Jay-jay . Adrian leaned forward, smirking. "Okay… how many times have you and Kiefer kissed?"

I froze, glancing at Kiefer. He smirked back at me. "Uncountable…" I murmured, cheeks heating instantly.

The teasing escalated, everyone laughing and shouting at us. Then the bottle landed on Kiefer.

"Truth or dare?" Ci-N asked, eyes sparkling.

"Dare," Kiefer said confidently, a small mischievous smile playing on his lips.

"I dare you… feed Jay-jay this bag of chips… with a kiss," Ci-N declared.

I felt my heart hammer in my chest. Kiefer leaned close, picking up a chip and holding it near my lips. "Open up," he whispered softly. I giggled, and he pressed the chip to my lips… then lingered there, brushing them softly against mine.

Every kiss was gentle, soft and warm, sending shivers down my spine. His hand brushed lightly over my cheek, thumb grazing my lips. When our lips finally met fully, it was delicate but electric, filled with the comfort of familiarity and the spark of desire.

"Relax," Kiefer murmured between kisses. "I've got you."

I melted into him, feeling every small touch—the warmth of his hands, the softness of his lips, the way his fingers intertwined with mine. Each kiss made my heart race, each brush of his hand made me tremble with excitement and affection.

The others laughed and teased, but I didn't care. For these few moments, it was only him and me, and the world outside the island didn't exist.

When we finally pulled back, I rested my forehead against his, breathing in his scent. "Kiefer…" I whispered softly.

He smiled. "I know," he said, brushing a loose strand of hair from my face. And for a moment, the island sun seemed to shine just for us.
