A Portkey is a very common magic item in the Wizarding World.
It can quickly transport a person from one location to another, much farther than Apparition.
And it can transfer many more people than Apparition.
The carrier can be any item: socks, boots, doors, statues, etc.
As long as the Portkey spell is enchanted on the corresponding item, touching it will transfer you to a specific location.
So Rufus felt that Goku's reported experience perfectly matched what happens after touching a Portkey.
After asking Goku a few more questions, he felt he had pieced together the general course of events.
Judging by Goku's appearance and name, he was most likely from China.
One of his parents was a Wizard, and the other might have been some kind of magical creature; he didn't know about China's magical creatures, so he couldn't judge.
Of course, it's also possible that one of his ancestors was a magical creature, and his inherited bloodline awakened.
Goku was abandoned at birth, then picked up and raised by a muggle.
That muggle died, and Goku became an orphan, began to wander, and finally accidentally touched a Portkey, being transported to Knockturn Alley.
Why say the old man who found Goku was a muggle?
Because Goku knew nothing about the Wizarding World and couldn't use any magic.
His defeat of Alec was entirely due to brute force, or a large part of it was due to Alec underestimating Goku.
But if that's really the case, how should Goku be handled?
"Uncle, do you know where King's Cross Station is?"
Seeing Rufus lost in thought, Goku asked.
The old man in Knockturn Alley told him to go to King's Cross Station Platform Nine and Three-Quarters tomorrow morning to take the Hogwarts Express.
He would be able to reach Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and find the most powerful Wizard, Dumbledore.
He wanted to duel Dumbledore to improve his strength.
"King's Cross Station, do you want to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"
Rufus saw Goku nod and slapped his thigh:
"That's right, at your age, it's time to go to Hogwarts!"
Young Wizards usually receive an owl's letter when they are eleven or twelve years old, and then go to Hogwarts for school.
Goku is twelve this year, just in time to attend his first year at Hogwarts.
"As Alec's primary captor, I will apply for a generous bonus for you, which can be used for tuition and living expenses."
The more Rufus thought about it, the more he felt this was the best way to handle Goku.
So he immediately sat back down and began to write a letter to Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, informing Dumbledore about Goku's situation.
Actually, even without this bonus, Goku could still go to Hogwarts.
As long as one has magical talent, even orphans can attend Hogwarts, because not going to school can easily turn into a terrifying Obscurus monster.
For orphans and those from struggling families, Hogwarts provides certain support, charging less or even no tuition fees.
The Ministry of Magic also provides a certain living allowance.
Tomorrow is September 1st, the start of the school year, and Hogwarts' owls have already delivered all the letters.
To enroll Goku, he must communicate with Headmaster Dumbledore and have Dumbledore send an additional admission notice.
"Dear Headmaster Dumbledore..."
Rufus had just finished writing the letter and was about to wave his wand to cast a spell, making the letter automatically transform into a small bird and fly to the Ministry of Magic's communications office, to be sent to Hogwarts by a dedicated owl.
Suddenly, he glanced to the side and was stunned:
"Child, what are you doing?"
"Uncle, I'm training, preparing for Hogwarts tomorrow."
Goku was doing push-ups, balancing on one finger, panting.
He was going to duel Dumbledore tomorrow, so he couldn't waste time; he had to train hard.
"You don't need to do this kind of preparation for Hogwarts."
Rufus smiled and shook his head; he understood that many young Wizards who grew up in muggle environments lacked common sense.
"Nymphadora, come to my office!"
A moment later, a beautiful, fashionably dressed young Auror pushed open the door and walked in.
"Director, you called me, is there a mission?"
"Nymphadora, take this child to Diagon Alley to purchase the supplies needed for a first-year student."
Rufus pointed to Goku.
Nymphadora Tonks, an excellent Wizard who just graduated from Hogwarts this year, and an Auror trainee.
He thought highly of this trainee.
Not because Nymphadora had Black family blood, but because Nymphadora was an extremely rare Metamorphmagus.
Metamorphmagi are born with the ability to change their appearance at will.
For an Auror, this is a very useful ability, capable of completing many tasks that other Aurors cannot.
Of course, changing one's appearance is not something only Metamorphmagi can do; taking Polyjuice Potion can also change one's appearance.
But on one hand, Polyjuice Potion is an expensive advanced potion, and it's impossible to apply for its use for every mission.
On the other hand, Polyjuice Potion requires the target's hair to be effective.
In contrast, a Metamorphmagus can change their appearance however they want, whenever they want, offering maximum cost-effectiveness.
Most importantly, according to his observations, Nymphadora was very righteous and principled, unlike many Aurors who had long been corrupted.
That's why he felt confident entrusting this boy, who could knock out a Black Wizard wanted criminal with one punch, to Nymphadora.
He still had many official duties to handle and no time to take Goku to Diagon Alley for shopping.
"Yes, Director!"
Nymphadora nodded, looking curiously at Goku, who was doing one-finger push-ups while inverted.
Who is this child? Could he be the Director's child? He hadn't heard the Director was married. Could it be an illegitimate child?
But his appearance doesn't quite fit; is the child's mother Asian?
Outwardly, she showed no emotion, but inside, Nymphadora's Fire of gossip was burning fiercely.
"This child is Goku, an orphan who accidentally touched a Portkey and went to Diagon Alley, helping us catch Alec Niel..."
Rufus quickly explained Goku's situation, then took some Galleons from a drawer and gave them to Nymphadora.
After listening, Nymphadora looked at Goku in disbelief:
"Alec Niel was actually caught because of him? This child is that powerful without magic?"
He had heard his colleagues talking about the international wanted criminal Alec Niel being apprehended just as he started work.
He just didn't know the specific details.
"Hogwarts is going to be lively now. I wonder which house he'll be sorted into."
Nymphadora was very interested in Goku, who had captured an international Black Wizard wanted criminal without learning any magic, and his future academic life at Hogwarts...
