Chapter 30 - Half Blood Wizard

The British Ministry of Magic headquarters, Auror Office.

"So, you're saying this child injured Alec Niel?"

Rufus Scrimgeour, the Head of the Auror Office, looked at the boy sitting on a nearby chair, enthusiastically devouring a large roasted chicken, and his expression was one of utter disbelief.

The two Aurors scratched their heads in unison:

"Director, although we didn't believe it at first either, according to the statements provided by the surrounding wizards and Alec Niel's testimony after he regained consciousness, it was indeed this child who injured Alec Niel..."

The two Aurors handed all the testimonies recorded with their magic quills to Rufus.

Rufus took the testimonies and read them, his brows furrowing involuntarily:

"Running faster than a unicorn, stronger than a giant, shattering a Shield Charm with one punch—are you sure all of this is true?"

"Um, Mr. Goku, would you mind demonstrating again?"

One of the Aurors waved his wand and cast a Shield Charm in front of himself.

Goku stuffed the last chicken leg from the roasted chicken into his mouth, then stood up and punched the magical protective shield formed by the Shield Charm.

The magical protective shield shattered with a crash.

"Director, you see, it's just like this."

The Auror was not surprised at all that the Shield Charm was destroyed.

Because earlier in Knockturn Alley, they also didn't believe what the surrounding wizards said and had already asked the boy to demonstrate several times.

The other Auror leaned close to the dumbfounded Rufus's ear and whispered:

"I suspect this child must have some kind of magical creature's bloodline, which is why he can do such things.

And he eats a lot; this is already the tenth roasted turkey he's eaten."

After confirming that it was indeed Goku who subdued the wanted criminal Alec, allowing the two of them to receive an unexpected first-class merit.

Their impression of Goku was naturally very good.

So, when they were about to take Goku back to the Ministry of Magic for testimony, they noticed his stomach growling and voluntarily paid out of their own pockets to take him to breakfast.

They just didn't expect that Goku would choose roasted turkey for breakfast so early in the morning, and eat nine of them in one sitting.

If it weren't for the excuse of having important business, causing them to pack up the tenth one, they felt Goku might have eaten ten more.

Actually, it was mainly because they were out of money.

"Eating ten roasted turkeys, that's indeed no ordinary child."

Rufus was stunned by the remark and subconsciously nodded.

Roasted turkeys are several times larger than regular roasted chickens; he, as one person, couldn't even finish one, let alone ten.

Moreover, such things are not unprecedented in the Wizarding World; he even knows several descendants of wizards and magical creature hybrids.

Like Rubeus Hagrid, the current gamekeeper at Hogwarts, and Olympe Maxime, the Headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy of magic.

Both are half-giant wizards, possessing not only the power of wizards but also a terrifying physique comparable to giants.

Could this Goku also be a half-giant? But he doesn't look tall; has he not grown up yet?

Or is he mixed with the blood of other magical creatures?

"It doesn't matter."

Gathering his scattered thoughts, Rufus brought the conversation back on track.

Whether Goku was a hybrid, and what blood he was mixed with, was merely a curiosity to him, but not the main point.

The current focus was on apprehending Alec Niel, this internationally wanted Black Wizard.

Not only would it eliminate a major threat, but it would also allow them to establish a friendly cooperative relationship with the German Ministry of Magic through this incident.

"You two go to the Department of International Magical Cooperation, find Director Crouch, and inform him of Alec's capture.

Have him contact the Aurors of the German Ministry of Magic to extradite Alec back."

Rufus patted their shoulders:

"You two did well this time; I'm giving you both primary credit and promoting you to team leaders!"

"Yes, Director!"

The two Aurors immediately stood up straight, their faces filled with excitement.

However, as the two turned to leave, they suddenly remembered something and turned back to ask Rufus:

"Um... Director, can we get reimbursed for the turkeys?"

Ten roasted turkeys cost a lot of money, and their Auror salaries weren't high, so reimbursement would naturally be best.

"Yes!"

Rufus waved his hand impatiently, and after his two subordinates left, he once again focused his attention on the boy who was curiously looking around.

"Child, where do you live?"

Now he needed to find out the little boy's address so his subordinates could take him home.

The little boy bravely subdued an internationally wanted Black Wizard; this was a commendable act, and the Ministry of Magic would provide appropriate rewards.

But it was too dangerous for the little boy to play in Knockturn Alley; when he was sent back, they needed to talk to his parents.

"I live on Mount Paozu."

Goku watched two small paper birds fly in from outside the door, land on the desk, and transform into two reports, and he answered honestly.

From that Knockturn Alley to this Ministry of Magic, through his conversations with the two Aurors along the way, he had a general understanding of the situation.

The place he appeared in this time had a group of beings called wizards.

Wizards, like their martial artists, were all formidable individuals who knew various strange and wonderful moves.

Just like the uncle he dueled earlier who could freeze his body, and that Grandpa who could restore damaged things.

And the two kind big brothers who just treated him to food could instantly teleport him.

The uncle he dueled was a bad person who had killed many people.

And those two kind big brothers and the uncle in front of him were good people, also like the police among the wizards.

"Mount Paozu, where is that?"

Hearing Goku state his home address, Rufus frowned; he had never heard of this place.

"What are your parents' names, and where are they now?"

It wasn't important to know where Mount Paozu was; as long as he knew Goku's parents' names, he could write a letter and have an owl deliver it.

Even if Mount Paozu was abroad, an owl could deliver it.

Then Goku's parents could come to the Ministry of Magic to pick him up and take him home.

"I don't have parents; I was abandoned in the mountains when I was little, and Grandpa adopted me."

Goku replied again.

"Poor child."

Rufus patted Goku's head, a hint of sympathy rising in his heart.

"Then what is your Grandpa's name, and where is he now?"

"My Grandpa's name is Son Gohan, and he's living in the Underworld now."

Goku's face was full of innocence, while Rufus's hand stiffened.

He already understood Goku's identity: a poor orphan who had no living relatives.

"How did you get to Knockturn Alley?"

"I pushed open a door, and I appeared in Knockturn Alley."

Goku still didn't lie.

"So, he encountered a Portkey."

Rufus immediately understood what had happened upon hearing this.

He thought Goku must have accidentally touched a door-shaped Portkey and then been transported to Knockturn Alley by the Portkey...
