Su Mei? Sir?" the receptionist repeated.
"Su Mei is here!" a bright voice echoed across the lobby.
Su Mei stepped off the elevator, closing the distance between them in fast strides. She threw her arms around Yuhan's neck—barely reaching on her toes—though it looked more like he was holding her up.
Yuhan blinked. As if he hadn't seen enough today, Su Mei was dressed in baggy jeans and a crop tee.
Is this how fashion workers dress now? he thought.
"Welcome on board," Su Mei said cheerfully, dropping her hands from his neck and slipping one through his arm.
"Nice suit," she giggled and yuhan wasn't sure if she was making fun of him.
"Ahhh, Miss Li," the earlier receptionist said, bowing again.
"Did he just call Miss Li by name?" the other receptionists whispered among themselves.
Once inside the elevator, Yuhan finally asked the question that had been bothering him.
