But without the help of a trainer, could she really complete the main mission with her own half-baked training methods?
Celestial Weave couldn't help but bite her lip. The pressure, which hadn't been so apparent before, suddenly became immense after her mother's actions.
But what was done was done. There was no point in being angry. She had to complete the main mission under these new constraints.
And to do that, she first needed to take stock of the cards she held.
With that thought, Celestial Weave silently called out, "System."

"This is so much higher than when I didn't train in the real world," she muttered to herself, looking at the panel.
In a sense, Celestial Weave was a rather precocious horse girl; her development phase had started exceptionally early. In the real world, it was because of this growth spurt during the summer that she was able to get into Tracen Academy.
She had initially thought this was the case for all horse girls, but after comparing herself with others, she realized how special she was.
A talent like Tokai Teio only had all-D stats in her debut race, a clear sign she had just entered her development phase. The huge gap between herself and racers like Narita Top Road and Admire Vega was also because their development had only just begun.
"Precocity... I just hope I don't hit a wall later. At least, not until after I complete the main mission..."
Faced with her own abnormality, Celestial Weave couldn't help but worry. But she didn't dwell on it for long. She patted her cheeks, telling herself she didn't have time for such idle thoughts, and quickly turned her attention back to the mission.
"With these stats, winning a G3 race shouldn't be a problem."

It was strange, but this was the first time she had properly browsed the Shop. When searching for the Hope Gem, she had just scrolled past everything else. And after entering the scenario, she had focused all her energy on basic training.
After several minutes, she finished browsing.

She then looked through the list of items she could afford and picked out a few that seemed most useful.

The three items cost 3500 SP in total. She left 1000 SP in reserve for any emergency medical items.

A cold, mechanical voice sounded, and her SP count at the bottom of the Shop interface decreased accordingly.
With all that done, Celestial Weave let out a long breath.
These were all the cards she had now. And with them, she had to win the main mission's championship.
