The cold, mechanical voice echoed in Celestial Weave's mind, causing her to lose focus for a moment.
Suddenly, a cool, wet sensation on her cheek jolted her back to reality. She turned her head and saw Narita Top Road, smiling at her with a cold bottle of mineral water.
"Skipping lunch at the cafeteria to think about something here?" Narita Top Road said, handing her the water and sitting down beside her.
Celestial Weave twisted off the cap and took a large gulp.
After winning the G3 championship, she had completed the first phase objective, receiving 1000 SP and the "Potential Detector Glasses." It was this item that had made her so lost in thought that she hadn't even heard her friend approaching.
It had been several days since she completed the mission, but she still hadn't brought herself to use the item on herself.
Relying on her skills and accumulated training, she had effortlessly won her debut and G3 races with an absolute advantage. Such achievements would bring unnecessary expectations.
The expectation of a "genius."
Maybe, just maybe, the horse girl named Celestial Weave really was a genius. Her failures in the real world were simply because she had started training too late. In this scenario world where she could train earlier, her brilliance was finally shining through.

"Are you okay? Don't drink so fast," Narita Top Road said, startled, patting her back.
"Cough, cough... cough..." Celestial Weave coughed so hard she couldn't straighten up, as if she were coughing up something other than water.
"Top Road..." her voice was hoarse from the coughing. "Have you ever thought about what would happen if you had to win a G1 race with someone else's expectations on your shoulders, but you failed?"
Narita Top Road was a bit confused by the question, but she tapped her cheek, thought for a moment, and replied, "I'd probably cry my eyes out."
After saying that, she scratched her blushing cheek, embarrassed.
Finally able to stop coughing, Celestial Weave slowly lifted her head from her knees and said weakly, "Are you a kid?"
"You're one to talk—" Narita Top Road's face turned even redder, and she said, a bit defensively, "Then what would you do if you failed?"
"I can't fail," Celestial Weave said, her voice firm and decisive.
Hearing this, Narita Top Road looked at her curiously, wanting to see the expression on the face of someone who could say something so confident. Unfortunately, her bangs had grown a bit long and were covering her eyes. She couldn't see anything.

Celestial Weave watched her lying there, looking at the clouds, then blinked and lay down beside her. Smelling the mix of sun and grass, she suddenly felt a tickle on her cheek. She turned her head and saw golden hair and green grass swaying in the gentle breeze.
"What's everyone's impression of a genius?"
Hearing this, Narita Top Road thought she was asking about others' opinions of her. She thought for a moment and said, "Confident... and strong, I guess? Not just in ability, but more in inner strength. It makes people feel a sense of awe."
"Is that so."
Hearing this, Celestial Weave thought of the geniuses she had met. Both Tokai Teio and Saint-King Halo seemed to have this inner strength. Tokai Teio, who could smile and congratulate her even after losing her debut race. And Saint-King Halo, who, despite a year of consecutive losses, could still confidently smile and call herself a first-class horse girl.

Hearing this, Celestial Weave let out a light laugh. She hadn't expected her to say that. To be called a genius by a genius... maybe that's what it looks like to them.
She mentally called out "Items" and, pretending to take them from her pocket, produced a pair of black-framed glasses.
