Preparations for his Externals
Virgil lived on, one month, two months and finally in the
preparatory stages of his externals, his exams that would
guarantee him access into higher institution.
Their class had gotten external candidates who would
register for those exams as well, the first day of their extra
curricular lessons was absolutely bland, lessons were boring as
fuck and the whole class felt like a slump basically he stopped
paying attention since he wasn't getting anything into his head
and it wasn't just him. The whole class.
After lessons were over, they decided to rest a bit before
going home Virgil was a fan of the idea shortly after one of the
external candidates spoke up and it was to him.
"You seem to like your personal space a lot and you're kept
to yourself" Jennifer was her name, a Nigerian girl from the
southern parts to be precise.
She had spoken on an observation she had taken about him. He doesn't answer simply looking over at his classmate who almost immediately came in to answer her.
So this was the class he had to be in, a room of five guys
and six girls. Himself, Daniel, David, Suleiman, Sadiq, Divine,
Favour, Fatima, Elizabeth, Jennifer and Gift.
Divine answered for him, telling her not to mind his
countenance he wasn't ignoring her but just keeping to himself
for the moment. Virgil nods slightly so she knows he doesn't
mean anything rude by his silence.
Daniel spoke up "this one is capable of killing a person,
forget his innocent face and quietness" . Jennifer thought
differently "he's cute because he's quiet".
The whole class erupted with reactions, from "Awwnn" to
alright to okay some even took the normal Nigerian initiative to
say "sharp". Virgil was glad for the complement, the whole class began setting them both up all he could do was a slight smirk and
shake his head sightly. The class was lively, a few moments back
they were like people who were about to die were now filling the
empty school with their voices.
Everyone was already acquainted with one another, Virgil
was happy with the fact that they easy going and quickly became
a part of us. Basically his class had influenced them and vice
versa but more former than latter.
