Bad Reflection
They both step up and explain it to them but Virgil didn't
allow them finish cutting them in between and coming to the
front of the class, taking a bow and apologizing for his rude
behavior his anger had subsided during the third class and he
started to collect what was going on and knew he had to
apologize.
Some of them didn't buy it but his behavior from yesterday
and this today he couldn't have just forced or pretended all that
so he had to be telling the truth and at the very least he came to
apologize.
The guys were okay and so were the girls but he specifically
walked up to Jennifer and knelt down and asked if she was
really okay with his apology.
Mincing her words trying to utter the simple statement "It's
fine, I understand" he was glad she didn't hate him, they had
made up and become one family again, so that day was done and
it was time to disperse.
The Next Day…
Like every other day, this one began and went along like
every other but this day had something at it's end. Free period,
two hour to end of school hours, Virgil makes his way to Anna's
class since he had heard she came looking for him but she
wasn't in.
About to walk out, her mate had said something that caught
his attention so he stopped in his tracks, kicked the gear into
reverse and looked over at the whole room with a facial
expression suggesting "repeat that again"
It was just a whisper but it was intended so he would hear
it, they acted like nothing had been said not wanting to repeat what it was, Virgil tells them something simple "my time and
energy isn't meant for you"
About to take his leave again then a voice came with an
outburst symbolizing disrespect saying "it's all because you're
our senior, after all it's not you're all that"
Virgil had pretended like he didn't hear that but then "weak
as you are you couldn't even convince us you could hold a lady"
that had hit a mark and he had thrown all plans of leaving that
class out the window.
Casually glancing at the window and notices a student by
the name Debby passing by, she had passed by on her way to her
class she runs into Anna informing her that Virgil was in her
class.
Shock, surprise and a hint of fear filled her face immediately
dropping what she was up to and dashed to her class. Virgil told
Caleb to keep talking and watch his patience run thin and see
what would happen after that.
"So you're basically scared of us, that's why you refuse to
stay around us when you're with her, or are you ashamed?"
Virgil was teetering over the edge as at that very moment,
this guy was taunting him and he was trying his very best not to
move from where he stood but it was becoming really difficult.
"she didn't want you to feel intimidated by us, that's why
she….. uh oh"
Virgil had his feel slowly walking towards Caleb, shaking his
head and cracking his knuckles one finger at a time, still trying to
calm down about to speak but was rudely cut off
"come on keep quiet jor it's not like you have better thing to
say, she sef is not like she have sense"
Virgil was just within range now and in two steps had taken
Caleb from where he stood and had him against the wall and
Virgil's elbow and arm at his throat, choking him Virgil had loaded a punch set centre for the abdomen only for Anna to burst into the
class.
She saw the scene in front of her and was glad she wasn't a
second late otherwise it would've been a whole different story,
the only reason he didn't go through with that action was because
she appeared he was now angry at them and her letting the boy
go and leaving the class without letting her touch him.
Anna scolds her mates about how reckless they can be,
taunting him like that and exposing something completely
unnecessary, she runs after him he stops as she apologizes for
all that,he tells her if she wants to talk she should find him at the
end of school.
Basically thirty minutes to the end of school, someone came
to him with a report that Anna was in tears, he asked for the
location and went to meet her.
Getting there, she was actually crying and he knew it had to
be her classmates, of which he was correct but he was able to
comfort her so they could talk.
"what's wrong?" he asked her calmly the other replies "her
classmates spoke bad about the way she acted, accepting his
feelings and dropping him like that, she felt bad because
everything they said was plain truth"
Virgil wasn't moved by her tears but he only felt they
should've respected whatever she decided on and stood by it,
even given she was the only girl in that class.
"it's fine, I'm over it and it's all past… normally you're not the
kind to cry like this it means this must've hurt you" wrapping is
arms around her allowing her lean on his shoulder as she sobbed
some more, maybe the thought of having the guy you dropped
shoulder your tears just made crying a lot more intense.
Not like he would know anyway.
All this was probably some bad reflection of her decisions
and she had to navigate it.
