'N-no...!' Luna's eyes blinked, whitening as she felt the gushing liquid within her mouth, filling it and getting swallowed due to the forceful gap created by Livina's hand clenching her jaw.
Instantly, given the color and texture of the liquid, along with those words from her, she recognized it as an aphrodisiac. Her crimson pupils glanced sideways at Victor, not with expectations, but more out of disappointment at how low he had fallen.
She had already lost any faith in him, but now, seeing how he had just done something so horrible without even blinking, made even the last hint of any chance that could have made her forgive that man vanish.
"I will tell the guards to—" Victor, clearly ignoring Luna, who had just been fed the whole bottle of aphrodisiac, moved forward, uncaring, as he reached the door, opening it. He told Livina how he was going to handle things outside until she prepared Luna as bait for them to escape.
Bam!
"Arghh—!" But as he placed his hand on the doorknob about to open it, his body was flung back. That muscular, strong body that had moments ago shown beastly strength was hurled back as the wooden door shattered.
Everything seemed to slow down within the room as both women looked ahead toward Victor, who was taken aback by the force that had propelled him backward. His eyes widened in shock as he saw a man.
"Kurghh!—cough!" Victor's body didn't even have the time to hit the wall or move more than a few steps away in mid-air from those women as Luna's sideways glance saw his eyes meet hers, filled with clear shock as he found himself suddenly seized by the neck, held up in midair by an iron-like grip.
"VICTOR!" Livina yelled, her eyes widening as she saw Victor, just a few steps back, thrown away from the door, now being lifted by a man wearing a black cloak. He had tattered pants with the wind coming through the window revealing his tightly packed abs and muscular body. The man had a smirk, his canines visible, and his eyes glowed like a beast as he held Victor up in the air.
"Arrghhh... Y-you..." Victor struggled in the grip, grabbing that hand, feeling his eyes widen as he recognized the man in front of him. Jaws clenched, he called out his name, "Javrian?"
"Haaa?" The man holding him tilted his head, clearly filled with killing intent. His smirk slowly subsided as he turned his gaze down toward Livina. No, more towards Luna, as he saw Livina holding a bottle in her hand, with its contents having been forced into Luna's mouth.
'!'
Livina's body trembled under the sharp, killing pressure, like a fox facing a raging tiger.
"What do you think you are doing, woman?" Javrian glared at Livina with a surge of killing intent, causing her body to tremble. The bottle from her hand, now emptied, fell as she dropped to her back, clearly having the sheet covering her body fall away.
A marvelous body of milky white skin was marred with red marks all over, in the form of hickeys, which did not alter the man's glare. His eyes remained focused on the soul of the woman before him, enraged as he sensed what she had done to the vulnerable Luna.
'!'
Gasp.
"I-I..." Livina wasn't able to get the words choked within her throat out, just standing there and blinking, clearly intimidated by the man who was a beast, his canines sharp, a scar marring his right side, making her feel fear like she had never felt in her life. She was further struck by the fact that Victor, even while held by the hand, was unable to fend off this man.
"I am fine," Luna said, slowly using her hand to lift herself. However, her body had started to show the symptoms of tephrodesia, as she could feel the heat building within her. Her thighs clenched naturally. What could even a small stimulant do to a body that had already lost its soul to care about anything? She simply lifted herself up.
"Hm?" Javrian narrowed his gaze as he saw the red-haired woman slowly standing, stretching out her hand where she held a small artifact. Her eyes looked directly at him without a hint of fear or a twitch, a stark contrast to how he typically saw women trembling at his mere presence.
"This carries proof of the injustice falling on your tribe and evidence to help you deal with the Empire's questioning once you burn down the Avriantya Clan," Luna offered, uncaring of his glare or the heavy killing pressure that weighed down on her and her numb soul, a soul that had lost all fear and everything there was to have. She presented that artifact, which she had prepared to use to take revenge against her husband before vanishing.
To be honest, she had even lost interest in the revenge. Yet, she did not want to have any regrets leaving someone like these two fiends to destroy another life like hers in the future. So it was better to just hand over the key to silence the Empire from the carnage that was about to fall on the clan, which had become the very foundation upon which this Luna had withered.
"!?!—Urghh—LU...NA...!" Victor's eyes blazed red as he tightened his grip around the arm that held him, enraged at seeing his frail wife attempt to bite the hand that had fed her, cared for her when she had been cast out of her house, only to meet with such betrayal. He yelled at her, but even that yell was choked by the man's grip, tightening to the point where a bulge formed near Victor's neck. Like a cornered cat, Victor swiftly twisted his body and punched that arm, distancing himself as he landed on the floor.
"Victor!" Livina swiftly sprinted toward Victor, who had landed on his knees, holding his neck and breathing heavily, his eyes red as she tried to calm him down. She was clearly uncaring about her clothes, especially given how her heart was pounding with terror, her body covered in goosebumps and tension as she desperately needed to leave this place.
"Oh?" Javrian, on the other hand, uncaring about the two, turned toward Luna, whose eyes, though crimson, held no glisten, just an opaque and hollow look as she offered the artifact in her trembling hand.
Watching the woman's body language, Javrian simply smiled; he couldn't seem to find any negative emotion directed at him from this woman. She did not hate his presence, nor did she seem to fear it.
"What is your name, woman?" Javrian inquired, for the first time seeing a woman who did not fear him as he gently picked the artifact from her hand, especially noting how she struggled to keep her hand steady. As he lifted it, Luna looked back at him, eye to eye.
"I will tell you... once," Luna uttered, her lips parting as her eyes turned towards Victor and her sister, fingers lifting, pointing as if she had lost every emotion—which she already did—but given what she was feeling right now due to the effect of the aphrodisiac and already analyzing what was about to happen with her this night, with her pointed finger clearly making both Livina and Victor flinch.
Luna declared,
"Tear them both apart... kill them."
