Chapter 23 - Meteorite

There is a huge wall on the first floor of the library, on which are clearly and meticulously written the types of books on each floor.

Herag's goal was clear. He wanted to read about world geography first, so he looked for it on the second floor.

When he went up the stairs, he found a place like a study room on the first floor, with rows of tables and chairs. At this time, there were already many students reading and studying there, giving Herag the illusion of returning to the library of his previous life.

Herag came to the geography book section and found that most of them were geography books within the Coulson continent, and there were very few books about world geography.

"Deep Blue, start recording the contents of every book I read and expand the database."

"The task has been filed and started."

Helag found a total of three books on world geography, but the content of each book was not detailed enough. The authors themselves had only visited a limited number of places, and much of the content was hearsay, so the authenticity needed to be verified.

"Deep Blue, organize the information in these three books and summarize the existing information on world geography."

Herag flipped through the three books quickly. He didn't need to read them carefully, he just wanted Deep Blue to record them completely.

"The sorting is complete."

Herag flipped through the results compiled by Deep Blue, which provided a map of the world currently known.

The land under his feet is called Colson Continent, with an estimated area of 15 million square kilometers. The continent closest to Colson is Karage Continent in the northwest.

The sea lies between the Kolson and Karage continents. The exact distance between them is unknown, with no relevant data to support it. Based on some travelogues and biographies, we can only guess that it is about 6,000 kilometers.

The map of the Karage continent is also incomplete. Currently, we only know a corner that extends out, and there is no information about the deeper parts.

Beyond these two continents lies the boundless sea and numerous small islands.

"The information is quite scarce." Herag sighed as he looked at the pieced-together map. The people of the Coulson continent were almost in a barbaric era with respect to this world, and their understanding of the world outside this continent could be said to be zero.

The productivity level of the Colson continent is too backward to support long-distance voyages.

What Herag could be sure of was that the ship carrying the wizard apprentice was heading to the continent of Karage.

According to Claude, the ship came from the east, passed the Colson continent, and then headed northwest to the Karage continent.

However, there is no record of the eastern continent at all, and the map does not even show where it is or how big it is.

"It seems we need a Columbus." Herag joked to himself.

He continued searching but found no other information about world geography, so he turned and went to the fourth floor.

Books on plants are on the fourth floor, and Herag wants to look up information related to meteorite grass.

"Found it." Herag found meteorite grass in a book called "Encyclopedia of Rare Plants".

"Meteorite grass, with fiery red petals, only grows near meteorites. It has some ornamental value, but its medicinal value is unknown."

Herag then looked up some information about the meteorite and discovered that there was a famous meteorite crater near Swan City, ten kilometers away.

Bang!

Herag closed the book, returned to the house, took his fine steel bow and long sword, and rode out of the city on horseback.

The meteorite crater outside Swan City is very large, with a diameter of 500 meters, forming a circular depression on the ground.

Hellagur rode his horse all the way and it took him half an hour to reach the crater.

The land here is very different from other places. The soil is fiery red and there is very little vegetation.

Herag walked slowly along a slope into the depression, while observing the surroundings for any traces of meteorite grass.

There are many puddles and some sparse vegetation in the crater.

He wandered around inside for a long time before he found a fiery red flower at the bottom of the innermost mountain wall.

Herag took out the small shovel he had prepared in advance and dug from the roots of the meteorite grass, trying his best to ensure the integrity of the roots.

"Warning, a high-energy magic source is approaching at high speed!"

"High-energy magic source?" Before Herag could react, he was blown away by the powerful impact, still holding the meteorite grass tightly in his hand.

"Severe burns on the back detected. Immediate use of Lay on Hands is recommended."

Herag grimaced in pain and turned around to see a red-haired boy smiling at him. He looked about sixteen or seventeen years old.

"He's not dead?" The red-haired boy was a little surprised.

"Deep Blue, check the opponent's physical data."

"Strength 5, Agility 6, Constitution 1, Spirit 9."

Herag took a deep breath. "Spirit 9, 4 higher than mine. It seems the other party is also a first-class wizard apprentice."

He once estimated that at least five points of mental power would be needed to break through to the second-class wizard apprentice.

There were large burns on Hellagur's back, and some of the flesh on the surface was mushy.

"That flower is mine..." The red-haired boy wanted to say something, but Hellagur had already drawn his sword and pressed forward.

He raised his right hand, and the emerald green ring on his middle finger emitted green light. Then a fireball the size of a basketball quickly formed and shot towards Hellagur at an extremely fast speed.

The distance between Hellagur and the red-haired boy was at least three hundred meters, which was why Deep Blue didn't notice him.

Because the distance was too far, Hellagur had no time to take the initiative and was forced to retreat to avoid the fireball.

He adjusted his posture in time, changed the direction of his force, and jumped to hide behind the pile of earth next to him.

The fireball landed and exploded where he was standing.

"It doesn't seem to have tracking properties." Hellagur came to this conclusion.

He took out his Jinggang Gong, put the arrow on, turned around and shot it out quickly.

The red-haired boy reacted quickly, shouting, "Partial petrification!"

The color of the skin on his left wrist changed, turning into a grayish-white stone-like substance.

When the arrow flew towards him, the red-haired boy blocked it with his left hand.

The arrow collided with his palm, creating sparks.

The red-haired boy was a little angry: "It really hurts!"

Herag, who was hiding behind a mound of earth, saw this scene and felt a little embarrassed.

He has a lot of magic power but no magical offensive means, which makes him too passive.

"Deep Blue, block my pain."

"Blocked."

Herag input magic power into the pocket watch and cast a holy healing spell on himself, and the injury on his back was immediately healed.

"Remaining magic power: 70%."

The red-haired boy felt the fluctuations of magic here, and his eyes lit up: "You actually have magic items! What a surprise!"

He said proudly, "It seems you're also a wizard apprentice, but why don't you know a single spell? Is it because you're too poorly qualified, or is it because your teacher's level is too low? Although the Coulson Continent lacks resources for wizard training, don't you know some basic spells? And your magic items look like they're for healing and auxiliary purposes. You're doomed."
