Chapter 4 - Little Wes

That day, he'd just received a call from his father's assistant, informing him about his father's health. It's been getting worse these days and his uncles are trying to take advantage of the situation to take control of the WES. cop, his father's company. After talking to Assistant Mahoney on the phone, he was in a rush to go to the company to take care of some matters before his uncles could so he was in a really bad mood when she bumped into him.

Later that day, he couldn't help but think of her tiny round face looking up at him with embarrassment. When his childhood friend Jason invited him to his party and said that all freshmen were invited, he wanted to reject him like he always does but thinking that he might see her today, he 'reluctantly' agreed after much 'persuasion' from him.

Katrina's eyes shifted when she heard that.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't do parties Pookie." He said as he softly rubbed her cheek. "I came here to see you. I was hoping to see you." He continued.

Katrina's eyes grew wider when she heard that. Before she could react, Wesley's lips landed on hers and he kissed her tender lips passionately. He only stopped when he felt that she stopped breathing. After ending that kiss, Wesley stared at her swollen lips and rubbed them with his thumb for a while before he turned to leave.

Katrina stood rooted in the same position for over a decade before she slowly raised her hand up to her lips. 'What just happened?' She thought. 'Did that guy just steal her first kiss?'

"Kat?" Kendin said from behind her but she didn't hear anything as her thoughts were still flooded with the events from earlier.

"Kat? Kat! Kat! Katrina!" He had to call a few more times and even tap her shoulder to bring her back to the real world.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked with a concerned expression.

"He.. He... " She repeatedly said that word while touching her lips and this brought great anxiety to Kendin's heart.

"Did someone take advantage of you?" He asked with the most serious expression he's ever made since he met her.

Seeing that Kendin was about to explode from a panic attack, Katrina shook her head before elaborating the events that happened a few minutes ago to him.

"B*tch WTF?! This little master was about to die from worry because of you just now!" He shouted before he realized what she just said. "Wait... what!?"

"He did." She nodded.

"That hot f*ck!" Kendin said in disbelieve.

"So this does mean your feelings are reciprocated, right." He teased.

"What feelings are those?" Katrina glared at him and forcefully pulled him down the stairs.

As soon as Wesley left Wesley left Katrina at the balcony, he left the apartment in his scooter. He was driven to this place by his father's driver and he'd have been picked by him if he wanted but he just felt like he needed some air after what happened. At Jason's apartment, there are two of his cars and the scooter he's currently riding. Jason uses them as he wishes and he doesn't really mind since they're best friends. As he felt the cold breeze hit his face, he couldn't help but curse himself for being so insane.

'What was I thinking?'

Actually he wasn't thinking. He just found himself saying those things and kissing her like that. He hasn't been like this since Megan.

'Megan.'

Megan Treasure. His first love. She was a sweet innocent girl he tainted himself. He taught her how to be the perfect girl for him but as soon as she became her, she got greedy. However he still isn't sure if she actually betrayed him or he's just the one who misunderstood her and was too scared to find out the truth. He cut her out of his life the minute he suspected her and she never tried too offer any explanations or even question why he was breaking up with her.

Ever since he broke up with her, he's been messing with countless girls. With his status, girls throw themselves at his feet and some of his father's business associates push their daughters to him for marriage but he has no intentions of marrying for money.

'I don't even know her name.' He sighed.

When his father pushed him to go to school to study Business Management, he was very much against it since he didn't see the need to go to school for four years to study something he's been learning from his father since he was in the seventh grade. But thinking that he might get a chance to see that Latina girl more and even maybe get a second chance at love, he thanked his father for that push.

A girl who isn't afraid of him even in the slightest. He didn't push back the thought that she might have been like that because she didn't know him but he really wasn't against her not knowing him for the meantime.

'How fun would it be if she won't be afraid of him even after knowing his identity.' He smiled at that thought.

Thirty minutes later he arrived at his apartment and he wasn't surprised to find assistant Mahoney waiting at the entrance for him.

"Young master." As soon as he saw Wesley, assistant Mahoney bowed and greeted respectfully.

"You didn't have to come all the way here, you know."

Wesley got off the scooter and got into the backseat of the BMW after assistant Mahoney opened the door for him. They rode to the hospital where they found his father's ward filled with his uncles, who happen to be the shareholders of his father's company.

He spared them a glance and only greeted his father, which angered his uncles but they didn't utter a word in disapproval.

"Little Wes is only getting bigger and bigger. It was only a few years ago when he was a little boy." James Wesley said with a smile.

Wesley ignored him and talked to his father about the next shareholder meeting. After getting all the details he needed, he bid him farewell and left his fuming uncles behind.
