Chapter 5 - First class

Katrina and Kendin left the party soon after that. They decided to get some food at a resturent near their school since they didnt have the energy to cook when they got home. As they walked in, they walked past Tiana who was leaving the resturant.

Sitting at a table of two with plates of seafood in front of them, Katrina looked intently at Kendin as she chewed her food.

"What?" Kendin asked as he felt Katrina's gaze on him.

"Did you see him? Were you able to see your man?"

"I love that you know he's my man." He said with a smile. "I did see him. We didn't talk though. Guess what I found out?"

"What?"

"He's bisexual." He said excitedly.

"Let me guess, you're this happy because you think that increases your chances of being with him."

"YESS!!" Kendin almost screamed from excitement. "It's only been a week but you know me a lot more than I know myself." He pointed.

"Hssss." Katrina hissed. "How can I not? You're like an open book." She said with an eyeroll.

"If you're done, lets go home now. I'm so sleepy right now. Plus I need time alone to think about that incident." Katrina said with a grin as a blush crept to her face.

"You guys are meant to be." Kendin said feigning jealousy.

The two paid for their food and left the restaurant.

Monday morning, Katrina was walking with Kendin to school when Kendin suddenly held both her arms and turned her so that her whole body was facing him directly.

"What!?"

"Is there something on my face?" He asked.

"No. Why?"

"Look ahead of us, but don't stare."

Katrina's eyes searched for what Kendin might be talking about and unsurprisingly, it was Jason but he wasn't alone. She never expected him to be walking with Jason and three other guys. The five boys walking together with Jason and Wesley in the lead was the most magnetic sight she's ever seen. Jason was a white boy with light blue eyes and a nice chiseled face. His pink lips made his face better to look at. Wesley on the other hand looked like he'd been taken straight out of a painting. His dark hair was nicely combed with just a few strands hanging from his head.

He had his eyes half closed as he looked at his phone as he pursed his lips in a thin line. Unlike the rest of the guys who wore jeans and hoodies, he was in a navy blue suit like he was from a formal event. The other three guys weren't inferior to the two in looks in any way. The flirterous smiles on their faces made them all the more pleasing to the eyes. Jason was casually looking at the people who kept looking at them with an expressionless face.

'How could he be so hot?' She thought before she looked away from them.

Katrina and Kendin were both walking down on the side walk that stood against the tall school wall and Wesley and his group were walking towards them on the side walk. They were all walking to the school gate that was between them.

A few hours ago, Wesley asked his father's assistant to help him with information about all the first year Latina girls. He didn't know Katrina's name or the course she'd be studying. He just had that much information about her so he was hoping to find her from that list. What he never expected was that there'd be 200 Latina girls who were first years. As he was complaining in his head, he looked up from his phone and he nearly screamed from delight.

About 30 feet from him, the girl he so desperately searched for like a needle in a haystack was walking with some guy and they looked kinda cozy. He raised his brow in suspicion. His expression changes from excited to blank.

"Isn't that your crush?" Kendin asked as he studied the guy walking beside Jason.

"It's him. Don't be obvious." Katrina poked his arm when she saw how intensely he was looking at him.

As they inched closer to the gate, Katrina felt like she might miss a thousand steps and her hands got sweaty. She held Kendin's arm for support.

Seeing this, Wesley wanted nothing but to rip that guys arm off his body and the aura that emitted from his body in that moment was so cold that one of the guys; Jimin, sneezed while Jason looked at the guy next to him.

"Who's angerd the king of hell this time?" He wondered out loud.

Hearing that, the other three guys looked at Wesley while he sent a deadly glare to Jason for a few seconds before looking back at Katrina. He didn't have time to think about what Jason said as he looked at Katrina's grip that seemed to tighten on Kendin's arm.

Jason followed his line of sight but all he could find was two other students walking towards them. There was nothing special about them so he didn't understand why Wesley was staring at them that hard.

When they got to the gate and were supposed to turn left to enter the school campus, Wesley stood still while looking at Katrina as though he was waiting for her.

Him stopping caught the rest of the guys by surprise but they stopped regardless. This freaked Katrina and Kendin out so bad they almost stopped breathing. When they arrived at the gate, they had no intentions of stopping to say their greetings to this group of apollos but Wesley didn't let them just walk by.

"You didn't tell me your name the other night." He said as soon as the two got near them.

The combination of those nine letters was like a bomb to the people who heard it. The guys exchanged looks while Jason stared at his friend with an expression that read: 'Who the fuck are you and what have done to my friend?'

"What?" Katrina asked

"You didn't tell me your name the other night." He repeated.

"You didn't tell me Your name that night." Katrina threw his phrase back at him with a frown on her face.

"You didn't ask."

"Neither did you." She retorted.

Watching the two exchange such words, and seeing how the girl's face was void of any fear, Jason was almost at the point of bowing down to her. Wesley looked at her hand that was still holding onto Kendin's arm and approached her while everyone else watched him in confusion. Katrina felt her heart pounding so hard against her chest when she saw him walking closer to her so she held Kendin's arm tighter.
