"Oh, okay. Sorry," Lillian replied when he seemed to really dislike the mention of divorce. She just said it so to wake him up anyway and it was very effective.
Further, she knew it was not possible. Lillian could not run away from Leonard on her own unless he, himself, released her.
She was not seriously thinking about divorce anyway. But if it ever comes to that, she could at least get a taste of him before it happens.
