Lillian wanted to refuse but Leo was somehow insistent this time.

She had never stayed in a man's lap before. Her husband's warmth felt good and comfortable. His chest was sturdy and his arms around her were strong. It felt safe and reliable somehow. She didn't mind staying in those arms a bit more.
'Was this how it felt like to have a man to lean on?' She never had one, after all.
"Hey, dear wife, no sleeping yet. We were just beginning," Leonard gave a light peck at her forehead.
"But I want to sleep just like this," Lillian replied groggily.
Lillian slowly opened her eyes. She felt so sleepy indeed. Can't he just let her sleep? They could continue this later. After all, she had not slept well in three days.
