'Of course, with a build like this, they must need a lot of protein,' Lillian thought.
Leo's cohorts were tall, and even with their coats, she could tell they were muscular. Leo hadn't explained who they were exactly, but she figured by now that they also functioned as his guards, along with other tasks, so all of them were trained and could fight when necessary.
"Are you a vegetarian?" Zach inquired, and Leo's cohorts stared at her once again.
Her order gave them the wrong idea.
"No. I also eat meat and fish. I was just not in the mood to eat meat today," Lillian clarified, and they sighed in relief.
From their face, she could tell that they were worried that if she were a vegetarian, they would have to eat purely vegetables too, so as not to tempt her to eat meat.
But Lillian wouldn't force them to change their usual diet for her. Everyone has their own preferences and tastes, whichever works best for their kind of metabolism and lifestyle.
