Miwa also got her own personal lawyer. XD

*Miwa's apartment.*
After having thrown Macaque out of her home, Miwa had fallen to the floor crying into her hands. Overwhelmed with emotions and confusion about who she really was.
Miwa didn't know for how long she had been crying, but at some point she just couldn't let out another tear.
Exhausted from the crying, she got up and walked to her bedroom, letting herself fall face first into her bed.
"All I just want is an answer, a home.... a family." Miwa's eyes changed to red as she rolled over on her back and looked up at the ceiling. "Was it a mistake.... should I have stepped back and not ruined all of this?"
Miwa let out a heavy sigh, looking out a window towards the wishing stars. "I have no way to return, I never intended to break the taboo... that is all Sun Wukong's fault."
The wishing stars even now were quiet and didn't give her any answer.
Miwa narrowed her red eyes, getting up from the bed and walked over to the window. "Why are you fools being so quiet?! For once I'm reaching out to you, I made a mistake granting this wish for my own selfish reasons!"
With her red eyes staying at the stars, it was clear it wasn't Miwa in control and speaking, but Red Star themself.
"This wish is already breaking and starting to lose its purpose, but unable to die I can only do so much with my own powers to keep it stable and not fade away with me." Red Star's left hand got covered in a red cosmic energy as she punched the window, leaving cracks on it but it didn't break.
Red Star growled in anger at the wishing stars, still not speaking back to her.
"Stop ignoring me! I know you can all hear me clearly from here!" Red Star let out a heavy sigh, slowly trying to calm down.
"..... I know we have a way to fix this, but even so..... I don't wanna give up on this wish. She has been through so much hardship because of me, and I want us to instead work on a way to let this wish return as the actual wish Macaque asked for so long ago." said Red Star, looking for a sign from the other wishing stars.
And a sign Red Star finally got as one of the wishing stars disappeared from the sky, and a new voice now spoke behind her.
"Hongse Xing, you didn't just make a mistake, you put the rest of us at risk by this taboo." said Purple Star, taking the form of a male human with long purple hair with a bit of white in it while their whole body was covered in glowing purple stars.
Red Star, going by a different name 'Hongse' turned around to see who it was. "Zise Xing, you all know I never planned for this wish to become immortal."
"If you hadn't sealed away your memories, along with your powers when taking this wish in the first place. We wouldn't be in this position. We tried calling out to you, but both you and the wish ignored our voices." Zise pointed out in a harsh but calm tone. "Now we are all left to clean up your mess."
"Clean up my...." Hongse's eyes started widening as she realized what he meant. "No... you can't mean you're all going through with that idea! We created that as a last resort."
Hongse rushed over and grabbed Zise by the collar of his shirt. "You can't do that to this wish! It might have been granted but it has yet to be fulfilled!"
Zise carried a calm expression on his face, not caring about her outburst. "The wish lost the chance of getting fulfilled the moment Sun Wukong decided to go against the Celestial Realm and gave the wish that immortal peach."
He placed a gentle hand on Hongse's own hands that were holding tightly to his shirt, shaking slightly. "Hongse, we all understand that you care about this wish. But we're all reaching our limits if we don't fix your situation soon. We will all perish into existence along with all the stars in the sky."
Hongse narrowed her red eyes into his purple ones before giving a sigh and letting go of the collar of his shirt. "I know that but..."
"The longer you try protecting this wish, the more stars will disappear from the sky. As the rest of us have to take back all those old wishes. To still have some powers in us to do something, let alone walk around any realm in a mortal form." Zise explained, looking out of the window and up at the night sky.
Hongse was shocked in horror to hear this as her eyes widened once more. "What?! Each star in the sky is of all the wishes we granted, you can't do that to them!"
"This is the consequences of you going rogue and taking the wish, Luse Xing, should have granted." Zise told her in a stern voice. "If you don't want us to erase those granted wishes on the sky, you'll have to accept the decision we made in ending this wish."
Hongse narrowed her eyes at him as she got surrounded by a red cosmic energy before letting out a sigh as Zise left and returned to the other wishing stars once more.
".... There must be a way to fix this without ending Miwa's life like this... but how do I find a solution to something that has never happened before and in another way?" Hongse placed a hand on the cracked window and quickly had it fixed before lying down on the bed.
"All I can do right now is to make sure she doesn't break further and disappear... otherwise that will be the end for me too." Hongse closed her eyes and gave up the control, without Miwa ever having any recollection of what had happened that night.
*The next day.*
Miwa slowly opened her eyes when waking up, taking a look around until she remembered she was back in her apartment.
"Right... I had a fight with Papa last night." Miwa got out of her bed and went into the living room, seeing the basket of mangos that Macaque had brought her.
Picking up one of the fruits, she took a seat on her couch and glanced at the mango in her hand. "Am I really a wish that Papa asked from the Wishing Stars, or am I really his and Dad's kid that they found and raised?"
Miwa knew she couldn't trust what LBD said, but some of her words still lingered in her head. Making her question everything and who she really was.
Taking a bite of her mango, she turned on the TV, trying to get her mind on something else at the moment.
Time went by while Miwa was watching some news, she was happy it was her day off today so she had the whole day to herself to think.
Miwa thought back to those families she had ruined and how those kids were affected by it.
".... I should find those three and hear them out, I never got to talk to them after MK asked me out." Miwa got up from the couch, turning off the TV, and used the shadows to try and find them, wanting to end all of this. They weren't kids anymore and souldn't let something in the past still affect them like this.
*At some bar.*
Miwa stood in front of the entrance of the bar, letting out a heavy sigh. "Let's just go in find those three and try having a normal talk."
Calming herself and no turning back now, Miwa opened the door and entered the bar.
Miwa decided to shapeshift into a fly and began flying around, trying to find those three since she did see them enter the bar.
It took her a little while to get around until she saw them at a table with a few more people, that of course she had also ruined their lives with.
"I always tried avoiding them, but now I'm actually seeking them out. Never thought that would happen." Miwa changed to her human form, since most of them only knew her in this form.
Miwa took a deep breath, ready to finally face those people, whos' lives she had ruined. She walked to the table, and the group sitting there took notice of her right away.
"Well looks who dragged themself in here, planning on ruining our lives even more?" said Shiro, being the guy Miwa had run into back at that antique shop with the demon twins.
"And with no one else to save you." said one of the three demon guys she ran into last time in another bar with the others.
"Either you are very brave or just stupid to show up here on your own." said Zixuan leaning back in his chair as he was sitting at the end of the table.
"I told you last time, this isn't what I asked for peasant!" shouted a familiar voice from a counter at a bartender.
The sound of something breaking could be heard, gaining everyone's attention to what was going on.
Miwa turned her head and couldn't believe who she was seeing. "Redson?! What the fuck are you doing here!"
"Huh?" Redson turned his head when he heard someone shouting his name. "Ruby?! What are you doing here!"
"Ruby?" The group sitting at their table looked at the two in confusion.
Miwa wanted to be annoyed by being called that, but instead she just smiled at seeing him. Someone she felt comfortable with, even though he and his family weren't the nicest people.
Redson took notice of her human form instead of being in her monkey form but decided not to ask about it. "If you're here that must mean Noodle boy and Dragon girl is close by, you three are never far from each other."
"Not this time, it's just me." said Miwa, giving a shrug.
"Is that so?" Redson raised an eyebrow and took a glance at the table where the group was sitting and glaring towards Miwa.
"Yeah, even I have my personal life." said Miwa, trying her best to ignore the glares she was getting.
Redson walked over and slammed a hand into the table. "What are you peasants looking at? Got nothing better to do?"
"What did you say punk!" One of the demon brothers got up from his chair.
"Now, now, let's just calm down everyone. No need for a full on fist fight." said Zixuan, trying to calm down the tension around the table.
"I take it you're the one running these ruthless peasants? If so, you're doing it poorly." said Redson, narrowing his eyes at Zixuan.
"Uhh, Redson what are you doing?" Miwa asked, not excepted this and confused with what he was doing.
Zixuan just gave out a chuckle. "You're mistaken, I'm not running these guys. We just happened to have one thing in common, her." He goes on to point over at Miwa.
"What about Ruby here, do you have business with?" Redson asked, taking the chair at the other end of the table.
Miwa were completely at a loss here, she hadn't thought she would run into Redson and he would get mixed up in this.
"She ruined our families." Zixuan raised his arms towards everyone at the table. "Every time a family took her in, things only got worse and ruined our lives."
"And we are gonna make sure she knows she is the one at fault here!" shouted a demon girl.
Redson raised an eyebrow and took a glance over at Miwa, who gave him a sad smile.
"You say my client here ruined your families and you want her to pay, yet she was only a child from what I'm getting." said Redson folding his hands. "You people are nothing else but useless peasants that holds a stupid grudge."
Miwa felt her jaw drop looking at Redson. "Did he just become my lawyer?"
Yuz the snake demon were about to speak up, but Zixuan raised a hand to stop him from speaking.
"Then why don't we let Miwa here speak for herself?" Zixuan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Umm." Miwa started before Redson slapped a fist into the table, and like a classic fashion he exploded in rage.
"You aren't getting a word out of my client!" shouted Redson in pure rage. "You want a word out of her, you speak to me, you PEASANT!"
Miwa just in lost for words, feeling like this was some crazy dream. "Never thought I would say it, but Redson might have actually made my day after yesterday."
"Alright then, Redson was it? Listen, we don't have anything against you, but Miwa here should at least take accountability for all the families she has ruined. Whatever it was, an accident or not." said Dai Lu, the water demon girl.
"My client will do no such thing! She is innocent!" Redson exclaimed.
"Umm, Redson, I'm happy you wanna help me with this. But I did cause the death of some of their family members." Miwa whispered to him.
Redson gave her a raised eyebrow. "On purpose?"
"Well, no, not on pur—" Miwa started before getting cut off.
"As I said, my client is innocent! End of discussion!" Redson got up and grabbed Miwa's wrist as he dragged her after him.
"Hey! We aren't finished here!" One of the demon brothers got up and went for a strike at Redson.
But he easily blocked the attack and went on to kick the demon guy in the guts and sent him flying into the table the others were sitting at, destroying it.
"You dare attack me, Redson of the mightiest Demon Bull family?! You peasants are gonna pay for it!" shouted Redson in rage and began attacking the rest of the group.
Miwa gave a sigh, rolling her eyes with a groan and had the whole group fall through a shadow portal and ended up outside the bar.
"I knew it! She is a demon!" shouted Shiro pointing at Miwa.
"Hey! We're demons too you idiot!" shouted Dai Lu at him.
Miwa slightly stumbled a bit after having teleported them all outside, feeling somewhat exhausted. "What the hell?"
Redson took notice of the group started fighting against each other, so he decided to check on Miwa.
"Hey, Ruby, are you doing alright?" Redson asked.
Miwa looked over at him, giving a sigh. "I'm fine, but why are you even helping me?"
Redson gave her a puzzled look. "What kind of stupid question is that?" He slightly bonked her head. "My family might not like your parents, but we are still cousins."
"What?" Miwa gave him a confused look when hearing this.
"Your parents and my father were brothers in arms, which makes us cousins." Redson explained to her.
Miwa just kept staring at him as thoughts were going through her head. "So we are family kind of?"
"Yes you idiot, or do I need to cut it out more for you?!" shouted Redson at her in annoyance.
Miwa couldn't help but start laughing at his outburst.
"Hey!" shouted the younger of the demon brothers, glaring at the two. "We aren't done here until Miwa got what she deserved!"
"Looks like we need to cut our chat down for later." said Redson, cracking his knuckles.
Miwa though hesitated a little, she wanted this fighting and blaming to end. But that didn't mean she wanted to fight unless she didn't have a choice.
"Redson, wait a moment." Miwa grabbed his shoulder, causing him to stop and look at her. "I wanna talk this out, not fight."
"Hmph, you shouldn't waste your time talking to these peasants. It will be easier to just beat them until they can't fight back." said Redson, glaring at the group.
Miwa let out a frustrated sigh and went on to tighten her grip on Redson's shoulder and then shoved him to the side as she walked forward. Not wanting to hide anymore, and just wanted to finish this old conflict.
"Listen, I get that you are all upset and resent me for what happened with your families." said Miwa, summoning her shadow spear as she blocked an attack from one of the three demon brothers.
"But I'm not fully at fault here." Miwa's had herself change back to her monkey form, with her eyes slowly flashing golden. "Shiro, yes I caused the death of your parents and what happened to your face. For that I am deeply sorry, but..." She gave him a stern glare. "You were the one who sent me into that forest, because you already didn't like me and clearly hoped I would die out there."
Shiro narrowed his eyes at her. "Bullshit, you monster! If it had been anyone but you, none of that would have happened!" He went to punch her, but she used one of her tails to stop his fist from reaching her face.
"So you would have sent another kid into that forest and have them die?" Miwa summoned two shadow clones and had them grab Shiro and pull him away from her.
"What's wrong with her? She never acted like this before, nor had these powers." said Dai Lu looking at the others.
"Yuz, you put the blame on me when your father died and your family went bankrupt." said Miwa giving a small sigh. "I wasn't the source of that happening, but I am sorry for the trouble I've caused you."
Yuz narrowed his eyes at her, but crossed his arms and leaned slightly on his left leg. "I guess I can forgive you, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna be your friend."
"I'm all fine with that." Miwa gave a small smile before using her spear to quickly blocking an attack from another of the three demon brothers. "So aggressive you three are."
Redson so far had just been standing back and watching everything. Finding it interesting that she wasn't trying to beat them up. But instead just using her powers to defend herself.
Miwa noticed Dai Lu coming at her, planning on using her water powers. Since she knew Miwa was afraid of water.
Seeing this caused Miwa to hesitate for a moment until she shapeshifted into a red and white hawk as she was flying around trying to avoid the water.
"I'm really getting tired of all of this." Miwa thought while dodging the water being fired at her.
Redson just kept watching and wouldn't jump in unless Miwa asked him to. Since it seemed like she wanted to handle this herself. Which at least meant she wasn't a pushover.
Miwa changed back to normal as she summoned her spear once more, having it get covered in cosmic energy and slammed it right into the ground. Creating a giant crater and blowing everyone away.
"Enough!" shouted Miwa, wanted to end this once and for all. "You don't wanna forgive me for things that were out of my control?! Fine! But I'm done taking this bullshit from all of you! I'm not gonna back away anymore!"
A small smile appeared on Redson's face, glad to see her finally showing her powers instead of acting so weak and useless around these guys. "You heard my client, she doesn't want anything to do with you guys anymore. So back off you peasants!"
For a second, something flashed towards Miwa at high speed, but she was able to block it with her spear. She turned her gaze towards Zixuan and narrowed her eyes.
Zixuan had thrown a knife at her, but with her fast reflexes she got from her training with Macaque, she was capable of reacting and block it in time.
"You done playing nice?" Miwa asked, raising an eyebrow.
Zixuan gave her a cold glare. "I'm not letting you go until you've payed for what you did to me."
Miwa raised her spear and pointed it at him. "I hardly did shit to you, all you ever cared about was yourself and using those around you as you seemed fit. Just like your own parents."
Zixuan pulled out a silver sword and pointed it right back at her. "Had you not snitch to the police about my family, they wouldn't have taken their own lives."
The two stared each other down until Zixuan went for the first attack. Which was his worst mistake, as the moment he made the first move. Miwa opened her mouth and began singing a small lullaby.
As soon as Miwa started singing, everyone, including Redson had fallen asleep. Miwa took that chance to grab Redson and had them disappear into a shadow portal.
*Miwa's apartment.*
Miwa had them land right on her couch, and she let out an exhausted sigh.
Redson ended up falling off the couch and down on the floor, causing him to wake up. "Huh? Where am I? What happened?!"
He took in his surroundings and saw that he was in some kind of building and then turned his attention to Miwa laying exhausted on the couch.
"A warning would have been nice, Ruby." said Redson crossing his arms.
"Shut up, chilly head. I'm not up for another fight." said Miwa, slowly turning her head to look up at him. "I just wanted out of that chaos."
"If you were struggling so much, why didn't you ask for my help?" Redson asked, crossing his arms.
"..... I don't want someone to save me each time. I wanna be able to protect myself." Miwa slowly sat up and pulled up her legs and wrapped her arms and tails around them.
"I didn't asked if you wanted saving, I asked if you wanted help." said Redson, going on to bonk her on the head. "I can understand you not wanting someone to save you. But everyone needs help sometimes, as much I as I hate to admit that."
Miwa pouted a bit as she rubbed her head. "Then why did you butt into my own problems?"
"Because you looked like a helpless monkey that needed someone to help you and have your back you idiot." Redson explained to her.
Miwa couldn't help but blush at this statement from him but quickly shook it off. ".... Thanks, Redson. I mean it, really." A small smile grew on her face.
"As your cousin, I can't have some peasants talk down to my family. Let alone look down on us. It would ruin my family's pride." said Redson with a scoff.
Miwa smiled and soon enough pulled him into a tight hug, catching him by surprise.
"Thanks, Redson." She said, happy to have some family that had her back yet didn't push her in any way. "But that doesn't mean I wanna be your wife if you keep throwing that around."
Redson let out an annoyed grumble at this. "I got that already, after that painful slap to the face you gave me for everyone to see, that was so humiliating."
A soft giggle came from Miwa at that memory and let go of the hug. "So what were you even doing at that bar?"
Redson scoff, crossing his arms. "Well if you must know, I was getting some drinks my father asked for. But those peasants clearly didn't get the memo since they brought me the wrong stuff."
".... I see, I thought for a moment you were getting yourself a drink there." said Miwa, looking at him.
"Oh please, as if I would drink at such a dreadful place." said Redson rolling his eyes.
"Riiight..." said Miwa shaking her head. "So, I should probably sent you back to that bar. Since you still need to get those drinks."
"I can get back there myself, so don't you waste your time and energy on that." said Redson, though he did grab her phone for a second and then threw it back to her.
"W-What did you do with my phone?" Miwa asked, narrowing her eyes at him.
"Relax, Ruby, if you run into any trouble with those guys again, Or something else, you can sent me a text." Redson snapped his fingers and disappeared into a small flame.
"Text him?" Miwa turned on her phone and gave it a check, surprised to see his number in her list of contacts. A soft smile growing on her face.
While looking at her phone, Miwa didn't take any notice of the faded seal on her forehead had gotten a crack in it.
