Well... things are happening by the looks of it.

*At the Spider Queen's lair.*
The Spider Queen and her spider demons were busy closing off everything while trying to fix up the spider mech. Though they didn't have much materials so had sent out some spider bots to get whatever they could find in the city.
"What is taking those bots so long?! I need this up and running right away!" said the Spider Queen, glancing over at Syntax.
"They are working as fast as they can, my Queen. I even made sure to sent out the double of them." Syntax explained.
"That should be the last entrance." said Strong Spider after having sealed up all the entrances, making sure no one could enter the room.
"Wow, you guys are working fast. But that shouldn't be so surprising knowing what is to come."
Everyone quickly turned around in a panic when hearing a voice, then to see Huangse having appeared behind Huntsman.
"YOU!" They all charged at Huangse, but he simply dodged their attacks and teleported to the top of the spider mech or at least the head of it.
"You guys need to drink some tea, helps calming the nerves in your bodies." said Huangse, sitting on the mech. "I didn't come to fight you."
"Then what did you come here for? TRAITOR?!" shouted Spider Queen, glaring up at him.
"Why should we listen to anything you have to say! I knew we couldn't trust you from the very start!" shouted Huntsman, shooting his web at him.
Huangse raised an eyebrow and a yellow star shield formed in front of him, blocking Huntsman's webs. "My kind never means to hurt you mortals, let alone help you."
His body started glowing in faint yellow stars.
"Then why are you here? If what you say is really the truth, that doesn't explain why you are helping her." Syntax questioned him.
Huangse could see all the spider demons were on guard and ready to attack at any time, though they wouldn't do it while he was sitting on the broken spider mech head they were trying to fix.
"My acquaintances and I are only helping her because we have a common goal. But hurting innocent people, whatever good or evil. Is not something we would ever do." Huangse raised a hand and summoned something. "Knowing what is to come soon, I'm only gonna meddle this once with mortal lives."
"And what is that supposed to mean? And why do you keep saying mortals? Are you some all mighty god or what from the Celestial Realm?" Huntsman asked, narrowing his eyes skeptically at him.
Huangse couldn't help but laugh at his question and slowly began walking in the air just like Miwa, and headed down towards them.
"A god you ask? I guess you could see me and the others like that. Though we don't come from the Celestial Realm. But we are merely watchers, observing every realm, universe and being in them. Granting whatever wish we deem worth it with how deep and personal it might be." He opened his closed hand and had the three items he summoned, slowly raise into the air.
An earring, a bracelet and an emblem resembling stars. Each going to one of the spider demons.
"What is this?" Syntax asked, glancing at the emblem hanging now on his shirt.
"Hey! Why did I get the earring?!" Huntsman exclaimed.
"And where is mine? As the queen here I should be getting something too, and much more amazing and beautiful." said Spider Queen glaring coldly at Huangse, trying to strike him with one of her legs.
Huangse quickly dodged her attack and put up a star shield around himself for protection. "I already gave you one, Spider Queen." He gave her a light bow. "The star necklace."
Spider Queen raised an eyebrow before taking a glance at the necklace she was wearing.
"As for what they are. Nothing else but old wished items that were once granted and fulfilled their use. But I took them from the sky, to be used once more for the very purpose they were wished for long ago." Huangse explained, his body slowly seemed to fade as he could feel the struggles of staying there too long.
"That doesn't explain what they do, and I don't get the whole wishy stuff." said Spider Queen.
Huangse gave a small chuckle. "You'll know when to use them, and when that happens I'll be there to undo it at the right time."
Before they could get any more answers out of him, Huangse had already disappeared from them and gone back to the sky where the other wishing stars was.

"I can't believe you gave them those old wishes, you know we aren't meant to do that." said Blue Star.
"We can't deny it that we will be part of what is to happen to them, and that is not something we can ignore or accept." Yellow Star explained.
"You're just helping them, because you once granted a wish from a spider demon that wanted a child and first let that wish child go freely when it was time. You better be careful you don't go rogue like Red Star." said Green Star.
"Unlike Red, I don't get affected by useless emotions. I know my place and purpose." said Yellow Star.
"That's good to know, after all our purpose is to grant people's wishes. Not to hurt mortals, gods or other beings. But... that doesn't change what we have to do, to break Red Star's taboo and bring them back..." said Purple Star.
"Before it's too late for all of us." said Green Star.
"Red Star's wish and those people around that wish, might see this as cruel.... but in the end, it's the only way to save all five of us and all the stars in the sky from dying out." said Blue Star.
"If there really was another way to fix this mess, we would have done that long ago when Red Star, themself created this method in the first place." said Yellow Star.

*At a rooftop.*
MK had called everyone in the middle of the night and had them show up. Though none of them were pleased about being woken up this late while wearing the pjs.
Pigsy let out a yawn. "Ok kid, ya got us here at..." He goes to look at his watch. "3 am! What was so important that you couldn't have waited until morning?"
"You better have a good reason for this, MK, because I'm so not in the mood for this so late in the night." said Miwa, arms crossed and standing in her pjs while wearing a sweater and the scarf she got from Macaque, which helped her from freezing in the cold night and her loose hair being a mess.

"Oh my dear Pigsy, sweet sweet friend, I'm so glad you asked. I have gathered you here, because I have unlocked my next, Mystic Monkey Power!" said MK, a smirk growing on his face.
"Ooo! What is it?! What is it?!" Mei asked all excited, forgetting about how tired she was.
"Y-Y-Y-Yeah! Teleportation? Cloud Walking?" Tang gasps just as excitedly. "Is it flying?!"
Miwa just let out a heavy sigh, rubbing between her eyes. "I could be sleeping in my nice, cozy bed right now."
"No, it's better than any of that! I have begun to learn Monkey King's 72 Transformations!" MK exclaimed to everyone.
"The ancient art that has eluded for even the wisest masters for centuries?! The ability to transform into nearly anything! Become an eagle! A tiger! A gorilla! The power of a go—!" Tang rambled on until Miwa slapped one of her tails over his mouth.
"Tang, shut up, just please shut up. Before I snap at you." Miwa could slowly feel her temper rising every minute by the cosmic energy slowly surrounding her.
"Well maybe my friend here could show you itself!" said MK and pulls out an actual living puppy's head, that was stuck as his hand. The others were stunned seeing it while Sandy puked in shock.
Miwa couldn't believe what she was seeing and she thought when she got her shapeshifting powers that it was bad, but this took the cake for her.
"MK, that is the most disturbing thing I've ever seen, and I wish I hadn't seen this at all." Miwa groans while facepalming herself.
Mei on the other hand was all excited about all of this. "Aw! It's a little puppy!" The puppy starts barking and bites her face. "MK, you were right, this is the best power!"
"I know!" said MK and starts laughs.
"Ah!" Miwa jumped when the puppy bit one of her tails. "MK! I DID NOT GET FORCED AWAKE FROM MY SLEEP, TO GET BITTEN BY A LITTLERLY PUPPY HEAD STUCK TO YOUR FUCKING HAND!!!!"
A huge cosmic energy was surrounding Miwa, slowly growing out of control as it was cracking the floor under her.
"S-Sorry Miwa! Please don't be mad!" MK exclaimed in a panic and pulled his puppy hand away from her tails.
Miwa just gave the puppy a cold and tired glare, her eyes flashing golden while she was still surrounded by cosmic energy.
Pigsy let out a long sigh. "Less of a power and more of a medical emergency."
"Wha- come on, no! I think dog hands pretty good. Aren't you? You little pug shaped baby?" said MK, as the puppy starts licking MK's face. "Ugh! Okay it's getting gross, uh! Stop."
"Uh, are you hiding your other hand?" Pigsy asked when noticing him still hiding his other hand.
"Uh... No." said MK, trying to avoid eye contact.
"MK, what are you—" Pigsy began.
"Ok fine! But just remember, like, 70% of my job is cleaning." said MK, going on to warn them.
"It's the same for me, so I don't know what you are getting at." said Miwa, crossing her arms.
"What's that got to do with whoa-" Pigsy started before letting out a shriek.
MK goes on and shows that his other hand was now a mop. Sandy pukes again along with Pigsy and Tang.
"... I'm too tired of any more of this shit." said Miwa, running a hand down her face.
"Ok, yes! So there's some kinks. But guys! Isn't it amazing?! Plus, this mop is super handy for cleaning up after this guy. Handy, super andy hah! This is a good day." said MK with a bright smile.
Miwa's right eye slightly twitched in annoyance. "Good day, tell me MK. What part about waking me up this late, is anything but good!" She went on the grab the collar of his shirt and started shaking him up. "I could be sleeping in my bed right now! Why couldn't you have waited until the fucking morning?!"
"Ya, might need to do a bit more training." said Tang while watching MK trying to calm down Miwa who was rightfully grumpy and had heavy bags under her eyes from not having gotten enough sleep. "And maybe not wake Miwa up this late."
"Training to make more puppy hands, right?" said Mei, still excited about all of this.
Miwa kept shaking MK in anger until they both heard something from the side of Pigsy's restaurant. They turn their attention to the sound and looks down to see a spider bot pulling out Pigsy's sign and taking it to the sewers.
"Spiders! Come on! When will this season of spiders be over?!" MK exclaimed.
Miwa let out a heavy sigh. "Looks like I'm not getting any more sleep tonight. Come on, MK, let's get a move on." She pulled the magic hood over her head and went into the shadows.
The puppy pulled MK down causing them to fall, and MK lands face first into the ground.
"Ouch, you alright MK?" Miwa asked coming out of the shadows.
"Why do I always land on my face?!" MK slowly got up and looked at Miwa. "Yeah, I'm fine. Not the first time." Just then he sees the sign being pulled into the sewers. "Hey, get back here! I'm not letting you take that sign!"
MK follows after it as he turns into tiny a person and his hands turn back to normal.
Miwa followed right after him, using the shadows as they head into the sewers after the spider bot that took Pigsy's sign.
*At the Spider Queen's lair.*
The spider bots are seen gathering everything metal they could find as to fix the broken spider mech. MK and Miwa watches from the top of a pipe.
Though Miwa had turned into a red and white mouse, as not to put too much weight on the pipe they were on.
MK growls in frustration. "Seriously?! Spider Queen's lair! Again?! Ugh, of course it's Spider Queen's lair, why wouldn't—" Miwa slapped her tail over his mouth.
Miwa gave him a glare and motioned a hand over her mouth as to tell him to be quiet.
MK removed her tail from his mouth and let out a sigh with a whisper. "Sorry." But then right after he noticed something and pointed at it. "Oh, the sign!"
Miwa rolled her eyes and had him get on her back and started moving closer to it. MK was about to reach for it before Spider Queen and her spider minions enter the room.
MK let out a quiet gasp. "Spider Queen."
"Well, that's not good." Miwa whispered, shaking her head.
"What do you mean there's not enough materials yet?!" Spider Queen shouted in annoyance.
"It's just, without the venom there's no way we'll be able to built it quickly as the last time!" Syntax explained to her.
MK let out another gasp when hearing this. "Spider Queen is rebuilding her mech." He shakes his head. "No no no, aw, this is bad. This is very bad!"
"Then we need to do something, MK, sitting here isn't gonna help." said Miwa looking at him.
"Right, right! We can't let her take over the city again! We must use our awesome powers and training to destroy that weapon of doom and reclaim Pigsy's noodle sign! Hahaha! Here comes Tiny Kid! And Mouse Girl!" said MK and began sneaking into the shadows.
"Mouse Girl? Really?" said Miwa, not impressed but followed him anyway.
"The spider bots, my Queen, they need more time to—" Syntax tried to explain before getting cut off.
"I DON'T HAVE MORE TIME! Don't you understand? This is it, this is the time I've got!" Spider Queen yelled right at him.
"Y-yes, but—" Syntax stuttered.
"Get it done!" said Spider Queen in a harsh tone.
They suddenly heard a noise behind them before they turned and saw a mouse and MK in his tiny form.
"Yip." said MK as a few sweatdrops were running down his face.
"Well, that could have gone better." said Miwa, rubbing the back of her head and standing on her back feet.
"W-what?! Monkie Kid?! Luna Kid?! You're the reason I'm in this mess! I'm gonna tear you apart!" said Spider Queen as she and others charged at them.
But as they did a gold cloud appeared and they backed away.
"W-What is this?" Spider Queen asked.
MK let out a laugh. "Behold, the power of 72 Transformations!" The cloud disappears as it reveals he's hands are now two puppy heads.
Miwa facepalms at this, letting out a heavy sigh. "I'm gonna have nightmares of this."
"Gah! Come on! I'm still working out the kinks, hang on." MK holds one of his puppy hands to his ear as he summons his staff.
Spider Queen and the others watched in confusion as Syntax puked.
"Huh, same reaction as Sandy. Interesting, I mean it is very creepy and a bit disturbing. But I don't think it's something to throw up over." said Miwa tilting her head.
MK struggles to hold his staff with his puppy hands. "Hey, how about we fight later when I have hands? Deal? Deal! Okay byee!"
He quickly runs off, with Miwa right after him by going into the shadows.
Spider Queen let out a growl of frustration when watching the two run off. "Bring them to me!"
The Spider demons takes off and started searching for them.
But as they were searching, they didn't take notice of MK having transformed into a spider, and Miwa observing from the shadows with glowing red eyes being the only visible thing to see from the shadows.
"Looks like you're getting the hang of transforming like me, not bad MK." said Miwa glancing at him. "Though I never thought your first form would be.... that."
MK goes on to start rubbing two of his legs together. "Ha ha! To beat the spider, one must become, the spider... Ah, this is literally my worst nightmare! Ew ew ew, butt rope, it's as weird as I thought it would be. Ew this is so gross. Ugh, I'm so gross."
Miwa stuck her head out from the shadows, while still wearing her hood that was covering her head and even all of her hair. "Have to agree, but just like with Dad's hair food. Don't think too much about it and it's fine."
"You didn't have to remind me of that." said MK, glancing up at her.
Miwa let out a giggle and picked him up, letting him sit on her shoulder. "Let's get back to that spider mech head and destroy it for good, then get back Pigsy's sign."
Somewhere else in another room, Lady Bone Demon is busy focusing on using her powers to create her mech. Her hair turns white as she does that until she heard Spider Queen's voice echoing through the room.
"Bring them to me!" The voice of Spider Queen echoed through the room.
"It would seem the Queen's usefulness is drawing to an end... Time to remove the unnecessary pieces of the game..." said Lady Bone Demon, her focus gone as her turned back to black.
With a sigh, Lady Bone Demon goes on and summons the Mayor who smiles evilly and slightly creepily.
"With pleasure, my lady..." said the Mayor chuckling evilly as he then left.
"You sure are a cold demon." said a girl walking over.
"Luse Xing." Lady Bone Demon turned to glance at the green-haired girl. "They are merely fulfilling their destiny... as we all do."
"That might be true, but every destiny is not always set in stone." said Luse, taking a look at the mech she was building.
"So how many more steps are there to kill that child?" Lady Bone Demon asked, deciding to change the subject.
"Well, we've only finished the first step out of four. But you don't have to worry, if everything goes to plan. That wish should be killed without fail." Luse explained.
"And are you people gonna tell me the rest of those steps, or am I to expect you'll only tell me whenever I finish a step? I hope it's not the latter as they say." said Lady Bone Demon glancing over at Luse with a calm expression, though with a bit of annoyance.
"If we told you everything at once, it wouldn't help much. By telling you the next step whenever you finish another. We can be sure it's going in the right direction, without rushing it." Luse turned her attention over to her. "These steps are very diligent and need to be done perfectly without any set backs."
"I see, as long as I get my wish. I wouldn't ask any further." said Lady Bone Demon, turning her attention back to the mech she was working on.
Luse just gave a nod before turning her attention to the sound of Syntax screaming. "Yellow Star can deny it as much as they want. But in the end, some parts of us still have the fond memories of the past living wishes we granted and lived as." With a small sigh, she then disappeared from the place.
Just as Luse left, the Mayor soon arrived back in the room. "My lady, I've taken care of the Spider Queen's minions... though in doing so something odd happened."
"Odd? What kind of odd?" Lady Bone Demon questioned, turning her attention to him with a calm expression.
The Mayor went on and pulled out the three items Huangse had given them, but they were now glowing a yellow color with a few faded stars floating into the air. "When I went to fulfill your order of getting ride of them. These items seemed to have suck them all in."
Lady Bone Demon narrowed her eyes and walked over to take a closer look. "Three of the four lost treasures, known to seal away evil or to protect those that wear them. Now, where did they get them? These were known to be lost long ago."
She took the three items and tried using her powers to break them open, but no matter what she did none of them would break open for her.
"Well, this is a little annoying. But it doesn't affect my destiny." Lady Bone Demon turned around and placed the items on a table. "I'm sure the Wishing Stars must have something planned, so I'll leave this be for now."
*Back with Miwa and MK.*
Miwa used the shadows and had them back at the spider mech, as MK jumped off her shoulder and transforms back to normal.
"Ok, new rule, never turn into a spider ever again! Nope! Nope, nope, nope." said MK, shaking his head when declaring this.
"Huh, so you actually have rules with your powers. What are the others?" Miwa questioned looking at him.
"Uh, ummm, one of my rules is to not let my clones do all the work for me. Wouldn't want them getting out of control again." said MK with a sheepish smile.
"That one actually makes sense." said Miwa, a small smile on her face.
"Anyway, time to destroy the spider mech!" said MK, turning the attention back to why they were here.
"Right, let's finish up here." Miwa summoned her spear, along with MK and his staff when the two began swinging at the spider mech.
Miwa tried surrounding cosmic energy onto her spear, and focused her next strike as cosmic energy cut right through the mech.
MK and Miwa were surprised when this happened, eyes widened and looked at each other.
"That was.... AWESOME!" MK cheered out loud, eyes sparkling with excitement.
"..... I did it.... I actually was able to do it." Miwa was shocked that she was able to recreate the same thing like back when they fought Huntsman back at Wukong's storage room.
But soon Miwa began feeling herself becoming exhausted, having to use her spear to not fall over. "Shit, that move takes a lot of energy out of me."
Just then Spider Queen appeared, and was shocked when she saw that the mech was destroyed. "NO!"
Enraged the Spider Queen looked at the two, and charged at Miwa who looked the weakest at the moment.
"Miwa!" MK quickly rushed over and shoved her out of the way just in time as the Spider Queen slammed him against the wall.
"MK!" Miwa ran to help him, but got hit by one of Spider Queen's legs, knocked her back and across the ground.
"You two ruined everything! It's all over because of... because of... of... because of..." Spider Queen in anger, slowly lowered her voice unable to say out loud what was on her mind.
"Her... You were making it to fight her, the Lady Bone Demon..." said MK, finally released when glancing over at the destroyed mech.
Miwa coughed slowly getting up, but were able to stay focused and keep her spear solid. ".... And we ruined it."
"Ugh, Lady Bone Demon! So it is her!" Spider Queen lets go of MK, letting him run over to check up on Miwa.
"Are you alright, Lulu?" MK asked with concern.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine." Miwa gave him a confident smile. "Just peachy."
".... Okay, maybe you hit your head a little too hard for you to say peachy." said MK, knowing she would never say that no matter what.
"..... Shit, I'm starting to sound like Dad." Miwa groans in disbelief, covering her face with one hand. "If he heard me say this, I wouldn't hear the end of it from him teasing me."
"Well if she wants to—" said Spider Queen before getting cut off.
"Yeah, she scares us too." said MK, looking over at her while helping Miwa stay on her feet.
"I'm not scared! I am the Queen!" Spider Queen exclaimed.
"Everyone can be scared of something, it doesn't matter if you're a queen, king or even a god." said Miwa, her eyes flashing slightly red. "Being scared doesn't make you any different."
"Shut up! I don't wanna hear a word from the child of the Monkey King!" Spider Queen shouted at her.
Miwa narrowed her eyes at her, but didn't have the energy to having a shouting match with her.
"Please, she's the Bone Demon! I don't know, maybe if we work together—" said MK, trying to reach out to her, hoping they could fight together against a common enemy.
But the Spider Queen just starts laughing at his words and suggestion. "Work together... I don't need help from mere children. I will rule this world! Not even some ancient Bone Demon will stop me."
She goes to attack MK and Miwa with her leg, before a golden cloud appeared. The clouds slowly disappear and reveal MK transformed into a gorilla and stops Spider Queen's attack.
Miwa had changed her spear into a whip and used it to quickly get out of the way as she was now hanging in the air with her whip wrapped around a pipe.
"What is this, how did you?!" said Spider Queen shocked at this.
"Nice MK! That is a big upgrade from what you turned into earlier." said Miwa, swinging with her whip as she landed back on the ground and changed it back to a spear.
"Yes! Finally, something I can use!" MK tosses Spider Queen and then charges at her.
Spider Queen covers herself, waiting for the beat-up to come.
Miwa on the other hand, observed and took notice of the expression on Spider Queen's face. The look of defeat and hurt, which made her feel kind of bad for her. "MK, stop!"
MK was about to strike her but stops in front of Spider Queen when he heard Miwa's voice telling him to stop.
Miwa let out a sigh and used the shadows to appear next to him and looked over at Spider Queen.
"I was meant to rule, I was... I would've been a good queen." Spider Queen cried with tears running down her face.
"Yeah, right, and Wukong isn't my Dad." Miwa rolled her eyes.
"Well I mean, that's definitely not true. You were in charge for like a day and it was, oh it was so bad." said MK, glancing over at Miwa.
"I was just a pawn in the game... like you two." said Spider Queen looking at the two.
MK let out a sigh and transforms back to normal.
Miwa didn't say anything as she grabbed part of her scarf, thinking back to Macaque and what Lady Bone Demon had said about him.
"It's not too late, you can run." said MK, while he went on to take Miwa's hand in his as he notice the puzzled look on her face.
Miwa smiled a little for the comfort and turned her attention to Spider Queen once more.
"Haven't you figured it out yet? There's no running from what she is?!" Spider Queen exclaimed.
Suddenly voices could be heard echoing throughout the area as soon enough Lady Bone Demon appeared.
"Spider Queen's right you know... Destiny will always catch up." said Lady Bone Demon, her eyes glowing as she started to try and control MK and Miwa, causing both of them to scream in pain.
"Get out of my head!" Miwa screamed holding her head, flashes of new memories showing up.
Miwa saw faded memories of some random people she had seen when still a baby. There was some kind of elephant guy, a bird looking eagle guy she wanted to punch and then a lion guy she felt skeptical about.
The pain only grew worse when Miwa saw something else, probably an illusion, hard to really say. But whatever she saw, made her scream with her eyes widened in fear with her arms raised as if to protect herself from something.
"You! I should've taken you out the second you walked into my lair!" Spider Queen turns to look back at MK. "Boy! Take your friend and run!"
"Fool!" Lady Bone Demon uses her powers and strike it and Spider Queen who attacked by charging at the attack. But in doing so, she summons a huge ball of energy and blasts at Spider Queen.
MK took quick action transforming into a bird and grabbed both Miwa and the sign, escaping from the scene and returned them back to the rooftop where the others had fall asleep.
As he dropped the sign and Miwa he changed back to normal as the others woke up from the sound.
Miwa was breathing heavily went sitting on to floor, trying to calm down as she took in her surroundings and saw that they were back on the rooftop with the others.
"Kids! What did you do to my sign?!" Pigsy exclaimed in disbelief when seeing his broken sign.
"Where'd you go? We were gonna do you a search party but..." Mei started asking.
"It was just so early, I told them you would be fine." said Tang, giving a shrug.
"Nah ah ah, you said and I quote, 'Ha, he's a goner for sure!" Pigsy quickly pointed out.
"Oh ho ho ho, I don't remember it like that." said Tang with an awkward laugh.
"MK, Miwa, what happened, is everything alright?" Sandy asked, taking notice of the look on their faces.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine... Just... just tired after being woken up so late in the night." said Miwa with a small smile after standing up.
"Uh, yeah... I just..." MK thinks back to what happened to the Spider Queen. "Hey, do you guys maybe feel like training today? I just wanna train more, you know, try and be ready for the next... challenge."
Pigsy goes over and lays a hand on his shoulder. "Sure kid, name the time. But uh, preferably not 3 am."
"And maybe not at the city where people can be hurt?" Tang added in.
"Yeah, fair, thanks guys." said MK with a smile.
".... Yeah... more training I can't wait." said Miwa letting out a yawn. "Anyway, I'm heading back home. I'm taking a day off from work to get some extra sleep."
Miwa traveled through the shadows as she left, and headed straight to Macaque's place.
*Macaque's Place.*
"Papa, are you here?" Miwa began searching the place for Macaque, since she hadn't visited him since the day he gave her the scarf along with his stupid lesson for MK.
"Papa?" Miwa had been searching everywhere in the apartment, his dojo downstairs and even going as far as checking the theater. But so far she hadn't found him anywhere.
"..... Papa wouldn't leave without letting me know.... right?" She started growing worried as her body slowly started fading. The thought of being all alone without her parents around, made her feel like she was being abandoned... and her parents might not have wanted her.
Miwa looked sadly down on the floor as her eyes started flashing golden.
"Hey Sunshine! How's it going?.... What's with the long face?" An astral projection of Wukong had showed up, when he took notice of the sad look on her face. "Did you not like what I sent you?"
Miwa slightly jumped when a projection of Wukong showed up, she wanted to hug him and cry. But since he wasn't physical here, she had to bottle up those feelings and play it off like nothing was wrong. "What? You sent me something?"
"Yeah, with me on a mission and not able to spend as much time with you. I thought I would at least sent you something nice, see it as a late birthday present." said Wukong scratching the back of his head. "Anyway, what had you look so upset? Since it clearly isn't what I sent you."
Miwa couldn't help but let out a snort and then a hearty laugh. "You and Papa are so much alike sometimes."
"What?! We are nothing alike! He is nothing but a jerk trying to act all cool and edgy!" Wukong exclaimed in annoyance and crossed his arms, which only made Miwa laugh even harder.
Wukong let out a scoff, but a smile started appearing on his face when hearing her laughing. It wasn't often this happened, so whenever it did happen. It made him happy that he was doing something right as a parent.
"Thanks, Dad, I really needed this." Miwa rubbed away a few tears from laughing so much.
"Anything to keep my little princess happy. You being upset is not a good look on you." said Wukong smiling at her.
Miwa rolled her eyes but kept a smile on her face. "Was there anything else, or did you just check on me to ask about what you sent me?"
"Can't a parent do a bit of both?" Wukong asked with a smug grin, though it didn't last for very long. "Freckles, I can't say when I can get in contact with you or the kid again. I know I'm getting close with my search, but if I am to get back in time..."
"It's fine, Dad, I get it. You focus on whatever you need to find." said Miwa, waving her hand in a dismissive way. Though she did feel sad that she wouldn't have any contact with her parents.
"Thanks for understanding, I promise when this is all over. We'll be spending a lot of time together, just the two of us, and the kid whenever I need to train him." Wukong smiled at her before disappearing.
Miwa let out a sigh, her ears hanging low as she left Macaque's place and shadow traveled back to her apartment.

When she appeared back at her apartment, she saw a package outside her door. Believing this was the one Wukong had sent her, she picked it out and opened it up inside.
After unpacking the package, Miwa was surprised to see it was a new outfit he had sent her.
Miwa couldn't help but smiled at this, seeing it match well with her scarf that she got from Macaque. With the small joy in knowing both of her parents had given her something to wear, a new look fitting for whenever she gets into a fight. Some more of her red hair had turned white and another crack appeared on the faded seal on her forehead.
