Arthur and Aria continued to trade blows. She was instead using a blade of white flame instead of her rapier, which had been destroyed. The white flames leaked onto the obsidian blade and started making their way towards Arthur's body. He threw the sword to the side and summoned his axe. Dashing forward and cutting with all of his strength. Yet he was still outmatched. The versatile and everburning white flames were simply unavoidable. Though, Revan, who was standing a ways off in order to get a proper shot in. Noticed the air was starting to thicken. And it was getting noticeably hotter. But she had felt that feeling before. Once, two years ago.
Blue flame started to coat his axe as he cleaved through the white flames. The chaotic blue flames dashed out towards Aria, and she could not stop them. Even if she stopped one ball of fire, another one came, then another, then another. The rain of fire left an opening for Arthur. As he cleaved through the flames and Aria alike. Yet the axe didn't reach her. She simply caught the blade in her hand.
"Did you think such a pity trick can deceive me? I see you for your true form, calamity."
Aria yanked him up and kicked him away. Sending him skidding through the snow. Which was melting around him. His entire body became coated in blue flames. A twisted smile and two blue horns appearing on his head. Though the seal on the calamities brand had been broken temporarily. It was slowly reforming itself. The demon burst forward with a great sword made of blue flame.
The snow around them melted from the clashing of the extreme heat. Their blades danced through the cold wind. As Revan took a few steps back. Overwhelmed by the energy being emitted.
'If I'm right…if he broke father's seal. Somehow. It should reform itself after a few minutes…he just needs to be stalled."
Revan drew a lightning infused arrow and let it burst through the air towards the demon. The demon deflected the arrow and manifested a spear of blue flames in his other hand. Piercing Aria's stomach with the devouring flame. On his back, the golden seal was starting to glow again, and was about to close in. Revan let a flew more arrows fly in a flurry. The demon summoned a wall of blue flames around him to defend himself. Before bursting through and attempting to slash through Aria again. But she stopped him with a finger.
"I'm getting tired of this…"
He backhanded the demon, sending him flying into the base of the mountain. Chains of light came out of the ground and restrained the demon as the golden seal reformed. The blue flames being sucked back into the calamities brand. Arthur's unconscious body was left laying against the base of the mountain.
Aria and Revan walked up to his body and Revan sighed.
"Why'd you even let him land a scratch on you? You know you're stronger than that…"
"Did you want me to kill him instead?"
Revan grew silent.
