Synopsis
Malik was an ordinary player that was betrayed by the girl he loved and was forced to abandon the account he had built up for years. On the verge of giving up everything, Malik stumbled upon a path that had been lost to existence. Malik stumbled on an item which granted him a physique that rivaled the very origin of the world. With his physique, he restarted his journey, and the journey that took him years, he was able to accomplish within weeks. His fame skyrocketed throughout the whole Western Region of God's Realm Online as he achieved what no other player had done before and became an Ancestor. As Malik progressed, he gathered a lot of enemies who saw him as a threat, and a lot of powerful individuals ganged up together to destroy him once and for all. Malik did all his best and fought with everything he had, but the enemies were too overwhelming. At the last moment, he tore a forbidden scroll which broke him through the boundaries of the Western Region and let him cross over to the Northern Region. The Main God System of GRO then gave him two options: either to be forever banned from playing GRO or to restart back from Level 0. In this world, GRO’s influence has spread through every corner. Being unable to play GRO was something Malik couldn't afford, so he chose to restart from Level 0 again, where his data was formatted and he had to choose a new class. Malik was given a special privilege to choose from a long list of classes, but Malik chose a class that had been abandoned by the system—a class with no follower and an F-grade art. Malik had thought that this class, which is the Cultivator class, would be the most unique out of all classes. He never trusted anyone and never listened to anyone but his own self. But when he saw for himself how pathetic and weak the class was, he couldn't help but cry and lament his foolishness... But then something happened... [Primordial Chaos Physique has been triggered] [Apprentice Dao Scripture has been successfully refined to the Infinite Chaos Scripture] [Apprentice Dao Scripture - Grade F —)) Infinite Chaos Scripture - Grade A] Malik's physique that he used to reign supreme in the Western Region was still there—the Main God System couldn't format it. With Malik's physique, the Cultivator class that was abandoned by all was refined into the most unique class. And with this abandoned class, Malik is ready to dominate the Game World of God's Realm Online. The legend of a man begins... Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Choosing a Class

[Data Capturing]

[System Analyzing]

[Server has been successfully linked to the Northern Region]

[You've clicked the Blue Button]

[You've been reset back to Level 0]

[All your Data has been formatted]

[You'll be sent to the Beginning Hall]

"The Beginning Hall. That's the place where players choose their class and codename. To think my class and codename have also been wiped out. To hell with the Main God System."

Malik cursed loudly as the world around him changed, everything transforming from darkness to light. A golden light shone on him, and Malik was finding it hard to open his eyes.

'Bastard System... It wasn't this bright when I first logged into the game,' Malik muttered through gritted teeth. This wasn't the first time he had gone through this process. The Beginning Hall—for every player, a place where every player is entitled to choose their class before entering God's Realm. You can only choose your class once, and after picking it, you can't change the class or create a new account, as every player is only entitled to one account. So this is the most crucial step.

But the case was different for Malik, whose data had been formatted by the Main God System. He had to restart from level zero. So, it was only right for him to start here.

As if answering Malik's plea, the light started condensing into one area, enabling him to part his eyelids.

"That golden light... what in mana's name is a divine being doing at the Starting Point of God's Realm Online?" Malik exclaimed in shock as he stared at the golden light which surrounded a female silhouette standing in the air above him, a golden sword pointing directly at his face.

This silhouette had four wings behind her, and they were exuding a holy aura. Despite pointing a sword straight at Malik's face, a smile was plastered on her face.

"It's surprising that you're able to see me, Heavenly Blessed. But I don't expect less from the Crosser of Realms."

The silhouette's voice was calm and filled with holiness, and Malik found himself defenseless against her speech. He was so mesmerized by her beauty that drool was already dripping from his mouth.

"Harem… Was I taken to the Harem Region?"

Weird thoughts crossed through Malik's mind as he stared at the female silhouette. If only the latter could know what Malik was thinking, she wouldn't hesitate to behead him on the spot.

"I'm Angel Micheal, and I'm in charge of the Northern Region of God's Realm Online."

"Once again... Welcome to God's Realm, Westerner."

"Never in my life would I've thought that Angel Micheal would actually be a female," Malik cried out in his mind as he continued staring at the Angel still pointing a sword at his face. It was as if he never noticed the sword. The Angel was so mesmerizing, her beauty so top-notch, that Malik forgot he was in a game.

"When I first logged into God's Realm, the entity in charge of this Beginning Hall was a robot. A Level 200 NPC that guided me in choosing my profession."

"But now, instead of a robot, I'm meeting with a divine being at the Starting Point. Just how advanced is this version of God's Realm?" Malik asked himself as he maintained composure. He wasn't some rookie or a newbie.

"There's no need to waste much of your time, Westerner. You already have all the basic details about God's Realm Online, but I want you to know that the Northern Region isn't like the other three regions."

"As a Crosser of Realms, you've been given privileges to choose a profession yourself. There are unique, hidden, special, and basic professions not available to others that are available to you," Angel Micheal said as she raised her sword and a golden light materialized into a screen in front of Malik, with hundreds of professions scattered all across.

"The Main God System is very fair. It allows you to gain access to things that won't be available until you reach Tier 2. Now... Pick your choice, Westerner."

A frown appeared on Malik's face as the words of Angel Micheal seemed to scratch his eardrums. "The Main God System that reset my levels and destroyed my cultivation base. It's fair indeed."

"Indeed, I wanted to click the red button and give up on everything, but I thought with my cultivation base, I could get my levels back quickly. That was why I chose to continue the game."

"Never in my life would I've thought all my cultivation base would be sacrificed to reset me back to level 0. All my equipment and tools were gone. Skills and everything. To hell with the Main God System."

God's Realm Online is a virtual game that has been dominating the earth for the past three years, and this virtual game is divided into four different servers. They're known as the Western Region, Eastern Region, Northern Region, and the Southern Region. They can also be referred to as Realms. These servers are not connected, and the server you're using depends on your location in reality. Malik is a player from the Western Region who accidentally trespassed into the Northern Region server, and as punishment, the Main God System formatted his previous data, forcing him to restart.

Malik surfed through the golden screen as he checked for the class that best suited his character.

"Out of all the classes, the Holy Warrior is the one that's shining the brightest. Seems like it's a unique class and has something to do with the divine beings."

'I'm sure he's going to pick the Holy Warrior class. That's the most unique class, after all.' Angel Micheal's eyes shone golden as she stared at Malik.

"What? There's also the Astronomancer Class, Giant Berserker Class, Light Mage Class, Dark Archer Class. All of these classes are top hidden classes." Malik's body shook with excitement, but he kept scrolling, his eyes piqued with interest.

"Like seriously... This is the Dark Swordsman. The Dark Swordsman—a unique class that Dark001 used to dominate the whole Western Region. This unique class is really OP."

"Damn... I'm so shortsighted. The Shadow Assassin—this is a special class. A class that can boost one to the god tier instantly. Should I pick this? After all, I've got affinity with being an assassin."

Malik's hand wavered, but he still decided to check further. He kept scrolling and scrolling as his heart started trembling, his eyes fixed on a word...

"Necromancer Class..." Malik's eyes widened.

"Is this class even possible in the game?" He couldn't help but ask as ideas flashed in his head about the Necromancer Class. "Tsk! I've really underestimated God's Realm Online." But Malik still didn't choose the Necromancer class. He wanted to browse through all of them and see it to the very end.

Malik kept scrolling and scrolling until he got to the very end of the screen. And that was when he saw it—a class that he had walked through in the Western Region.

"Martial Class. It's available in this version of God's Realm."

"I've got experience with this class, so it should be more suitable for me." Malik mused as he chose to settle down with the Martial Class while Angel Micheal stared at him from above.

"Martial Path... How interesting…" She licked her lips when Malik's hand suddenly stopped just inches away from the Martial Class.

"My eyes... they hurt." Malik nearly screamed out as he covered his eyes with his hands, as if they had been bathed in acid. He bit his lips to stop himself from screaming as he rubbed his eyes, which brought out tears.

When the pain finally subsided, Malik looked up—just to see that he was able to see clearly without any obstruction from the golden light.

[You've triggered 'Eyes of Insight']

[All five senses have been enhanced]

"Eyes of Insight... I still have the Eyes of Insight." Malik's heart leapt for joy almost immediately. The Eyes of Insight was one of Malik's skills he had obtained in the Western Region. To think that the Main God System didn't wipe it. He raised his gaze—then it fell on a class that he wasn't able to see before. A class he didn't know was there. A class that had almost faded, located at the very end. Without hesitation, Malik picked the class, and a shocking expression appeared on Angel Micheal's face.

"Westerner. Are you sure you want to pick that class? There are a lot of hidden classes available. Even special classes."

"That class you picked isn't even among the basic classes. It's an ordinary class which has been abandoned by the system. It's beyond shocking that you were able to see it."

Of course, Angel Micheal didn't know about the Eyes of Insight, so she was confused as to how Malik was able to see that class.

"An ordinary class? Abandoned by the Main God System..." Malik's excitement died instantly. Just when he thought the system had finally recognized his potential and given him the class he had always designed for... it turned out to be an abandoned one.
