Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Frank felt despair. It was the same feeling he had on his first day at the training camp. He had started training confidently, believing he had everything under control. But when he saw Wade's results, all his confidence was shattered. When a strong-willed person faces someone who is slightly better than him, he tries even harder to become stronger. However, if that person is at an unattainable height, then there is nothing left but despair.

Frank experienced that feeling again today. The ability of this boy in front of him was incomparable to his own. It had only been half a year since they had started learning Rokushiki techniques. And he had mastered Rankyaku with great difficulty and could use it with ease, while Louis had already developed two advanced techniques based on the normal Tekkai. The difference in their abilities was too obvious, and it couldn't help but hurt his pride.

"..." - barely getting to his feet, he glanced at the instructor, who had not paid any attention to him from the very beginning.

Initially, the instructor had been watching Wade, but now his attention had shifted entirely to Louis. Frank understood why the instructor, who had seemed irritated before, had changed his attitude after just one blow to Louis. He must have also noticed that this boy was gifted with much more talent than Frank...

"Give up, Frank." Louis slowly took off his jacket and threw it aside.

Dylan deftly caught the clothes, and Louis, rolling up the sleeves of his shirt, added: "If you get on your knees and ask for forgiveness, I will spare you. As you can see, I am much more human than you."

"Fuck you!" Frank roared, and like an enraged cheetah, he charged forward. Everyone around him despised him: Wade, the coach, and now this boy! Under the influence of the rage that washed over him, the pain in his legs that had been tormenting him seemed to disappear.

"Well then, don't take it personally." Louis smiled, Frank was terribly predictable.

Frank moved incredibly fast, like the wind. And Louis couldn't keep up with him, but he didn't need to - it was enough to just follow his attacks.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!* - after exchanging several blows, Louis remained unharmed. While Frank, on the contrary, having missed several serious blows, spat out a clot of blood and retreated, trying to increase the distance.

His face was pale as death: "Ha... Ha... Brat! I admit, I underestimated you."

He chuckled coldly, "You are strong, your Tekkai skills are truly impressive, but you are not as invincible as you think."

"Oh? Really?" Louis asked in surprise, "So enlighten me, what is my weakness?"

"Rankyaku!" Frank thrust his leg forward, but Louis didn't even try to dodge it. He calmly took the blow that seemed like it should have cut him in half, but instead it only tore his clothes, leaving only a white stripe on his body.

"Rankyaku!" Frank repeated as Louis attempted to get closer. He then retreated, using his speed advantage, and used the same technique again.

"Oh, so that's how it is?" Louis said, dodging easily. "Yes, Tekkai excels in defense and close combat. But when you face an opponent who uses long-range attacks, you'll be in a difficult situation."

"I'll kill you!" Frank shouted angrily, angered by the mocking tone in which Louis spoke.

"I'm afraid you won't succeed." Louis shrugged and dodged another blow.

Their fight reached a stalemate. Louis could not keep up with Frank's speed, and Frank, despite all his efforts, could not break through his defense.

"Damn, damn, damn!!" Frank screamed furiously when another attack failed to reach its target. His strength was already running out. And Louis, only occasionally dodging or taking Tekkai's blows, maintained his stamina. If this continued, Frank would soon simply exhaust all his strength and lose.

"All you know how to do is dodge?!"

"Then I won't. Giving a man hope and then making him feel despair is not my style. I prefer to plunge him into despair right away. Frank, you lose." Louis extended his right hand, his Tekkai hardening, instantly crushing Frank's punch. He then reached to the back of his head with his left hand, removing the elastic band that held his hair, causing the black locks to fall down, reaching his waist.

"What?" Frank was clearly puzzled.

*Boom!* The ground beneath his feet instantly split open, and Louis shot forward at incredible speed, approaching his opponent in just an instant.

"Don't dream!" Frank's reaction was lightning fast, he immediately accelerated, intending to increase the distance.

"What?!" But he couldn't. Instead, he clearly felt something squeezing his right leg. Then everything started spinning before his eyes, and soon he found himself hanging upside down.

"What is this?!" He arched his back to see what exactly was holding him back, "Hair?"

Louis's long hair, longer than usual, wrapped around Frank's ankle, hanging him in the air.

"What the hell?!" The instructor, who had been calmly watching what was happening until then, suddenly froze in place, and then his gaze took on a dark tint.

"What's going on?!" Frank shouted and immediately kicked with his free leg: "Rankyaku!"

His punch went straight for Louis, but...

"It's no use." - *BOOM!*

Encountering hair that looked more like black tentacles, Frank's strike was instantly dispelled.

"Impossible! It's just hair!" Frank was shocked. Could ordinary hair stop his "Rankyaku"!?

"Nothing special. It's just hair enhanced by Tekkai," Louis explained.

"Tekkai?! Hair?! Are you kidding me?!" Frank didn't understand how this could possibly be connected.

"Okay, since you don't want to give up..." Louis laughed, "I'll have to take away your ability to continue the fight."

Several strands of Louis' hair once again intertwined into tentacles and began to wriggle in front of him, then shot forward like sharp spears. They easily pierced Frank's chest. After which he screamed from the pain that filled his body, his eyes dimmed, and a new splash of blood gushed from his mouth...

*Swoosh!* Louis' hair suddenly tightened and Frank hit the ground with force. After leaving his body, the hair shook itself to throw off the blood and began to gradually return to its place behind Louis's back.

"Instructor, I think our fight is over," Louis said, looking at Frank's body, which was lying in a pool of blood and barely twitching.

"Yes, the fight is over and you have won." The instructor nodded, and immediately rushed forward. His fingers touched Louis' forehead, so fast that he did not have time to react. One action from him, and he could easily pierce Louis' head: "But could you explain something to me? How did you do it? Seimei Kikan!?"
