Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

There are only two ways to get to CP9's training base on the Grand Line from the South Blue. The first is the rather risky passage through the Calm Belt. However, at that time, warships had not yet been equipped with seastone plates, so such a journey would be tantamount to suicide, especially considering the many Sea Kings that live there. Secondly, traveling through such a place on a sailing ship is fraught with incredible difficulties.

The ship carrying Louis to the training camp did not have the necessary power for such a passage, so they chose the second route: passing Reverse Mountain and entering the first half of the Grand Line.

While this was considerably safer, the problem was that the journey was very long, and even without taking breaks along the way, their journey was expected to take about three months.

For Louis, the three months were not a burden - rather, he was glad that he had time to further strengthen his body and strength.

These three months were more than enough for him. It took Louis less than half a year to learn Tekkai and accidentally learn Seimei Kikan. And now, three months seemed like a reasonable amount of time for him.

Louis knew that in addition to training in Rokushiki techniques, he needed to compensate for his basic weaknesses. He realized that his main problem was not in techniques or holds, but in doriks - in basic strength, speed and physical fitness.

He was only twelve years old, just entering the stage of growing up, but the period of rapid growth of both muscles and body had not yet arrived. This resulted in the fact that in the next few years, his physical form would lag significantly behind his peers. After all, there would definitely be no losers in the CP9 training camp, which is why Louis had doubts about whether he would be able to stand out or not.

That's why he decided it was time to overcome his age limitation. Louis knew that the only way to overcome the age difference was to eat a devil fruit known as the Age Fruit or Juku Juku no Mi. However, it was also possible to change one's physical state in another way.

For three months, Louis did only one thing - Seimei Kikan training. The essence of this technique is to completely control your body through willpower. Before boarding the ship, he could only control his hair and part of his skin, but now he began to try to control other parts of his body.

These are not muscles or anything else, but internal organs - the stomach, then the liver, the pancreas, and finally the digestive system.

Even taking into account the age restrictions, more food would contribute to his physical development, which was quite obvious. Louis sought to increase his ability to digest and assimilate nutrients in order to force his body through the high caloric content of food during the period of active growth, thus compensating for the difference in age.

In fact, it was much easier than the original hair control. A human has about a hundred thousand hairs, and Louis had about a hundred and twenty thousand, due to the excessive density. For this reason, at first they were quite difficult to control...

However, even though the training was relatively easy, the progress was quite slow, because the internal organs are very important for the body. Louis was very careful and did not strive for quick success. He thought that he would rather choose a slow result than risk his health.

Thus, Louis spent these three months very intensively: he spent eighteen hours a day training. Four of which were spent on physical exercises and studying Rokushiki. And the remaining fourteen hours were spent on controlling his stomach, liver and pancreas. As for the remaining six hours, he ate, rested and slept. Fortunately, due to his incredible control over his body and spiritual strength, four hours of sleep a day was enough for him to feel quite good.

On the ship, he was like a ghost - he didn't communicate with anyone and did his own thing. This was quite normal: their ship pretended to be a merchant vessel, and the crew consisted of CP agents who were not very friendly or talkative, which is why they spent the entire three months in silence.

...

More than a month had passed since their departure, and finally they reached the Grand Line. Louis felt their ship rapidly ascending the Reverse Mountain, and then rushing towards the ocean. The wind hit his face, and it seemed as if his body was about to fly.

Before him stretched a vast ocean—the Grand Line, the greatest waterway of this world.

As soon as they entered the Grand Line, the first thing Louis noticed was the change in the weather. Although he knew it would happen, the sudden change still surprised him. Luckily, their ship's crew included excellent navigators who could maneuver even in the harsh conditions of the Grand Line.

Even though there were still three years left before the Great Age of Pirates began, the situation on the Grand Line was extremely confusing. Louie and his companions did not land on the islands, instead, when they needed something, mysterious ships with supplies sailed to them. In addition, despite the fact that they avoided pirate hotspots and dangerous routes, they encountered pirate attacks several times.

However, all these attempts were easily defeated by the CP agents on the ship. During one of these attacks, Louis noticed that the captain of their ship certainly had over a thousand dorics, which made him incredibly strong. And with such a protector, he could only continue his diligent training without worrying about his well-being.

.....

Time flew by, and by the time Louis finally began to confidently control his digestion, a distant island appeared before his eyes.

CP agents seem to like to build training camps on deserted islands - this was the case in South Blue and on this island. The surface of the island was deserted, and the training camp was underground.

The ship's staff led Louis to one of the huge trees, where they opened a passage into the dungeon. After which, a view of a huge training complex immediately opened up before his eyes. The equipment inside was in perfect condition, as if it were a small city. It was hard to imagine that such a huge camp was intended only for the training of a couple of dozen people...

Louis met the head instructor of the camp, a huge man with big, hard muscles. He didn't talk to Louis for long and immediately sent him to the logistics department to get his things, after which he was ordered to settle him in the dorm and begin training.

Taking the opportunity to visit the logistics, Louis also took a look around the training camp. It was simply huge, and there were almost no other cadets inside, which was unimaginable.

Following the map, he reached his dorm. Frankly, using such a luxurious cottage as a dorm was rather wasteful - even though it was a reservation for future agents and spies, their conditions were too favorable.

There was nothing to clean or put away in the dorm. Everything was prepared in advance, and Louis, not knowing what to do, put his things next to the bed.

*Ding!* the doorbell rang, which surprised Louis a little.

Opening the door, he saw a cat. Or rather, no, it was a guy who looked very much like a cat...
