Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

The scene is the South Blue training camp for CP agents. Two participants stand opposite each other in the arena. An instructor stands next to them, holding a folder in his hands, watching the action. The other students have gathered nearby, eager to watch the spectacular fight.

"What did Wade tell you?" Frank asked, standing next to Louis, a smug smile on his face. Then, lowering his voice, he added, "Told you to get down on your knees right away and beg me for mercy?"

"He asked me not to kill you," Louis replied calmly, "because you know that fighting between us is forbidden, and murder is a very serious violation."

"Ha! Brat! Decided to hide behind the rules to save your own skin? Where did all your recent insolence go?" Frank's voice became darker, as he considered Louis' words a sign of weakness: "Don't think that I will leave you be . You dared to challenge me - you will feel all the consequences. And believe me, the instructor will not be able to prove anything. After all, in a fight it is always possible to 'miscalculate' the force of a blow."

"Do you really want to kill me?" Louis raised his head, meeting his opponent's gaze, "Don't worry, I won't kill you. Just like Wade asked, I'll let you live."

"You jerk!" Frank finally realized that Louis wasn't joking: "You really are like that bastard Wade! I wonder if you have the strength to ignore everyone around you, just like he does?"

"It will be quite enough for you," Louis said calmly, smiling.

Frank laughed with rage: "Excellent, very good."

"Have you finished your conversations? If so, let's begin," the instructor said indifferently.

"We can begin," Louis nodded.

"I've been waiting for this for a long time," Frank said, cracking his fingers in earnest. He knew full well that personal fights were prohibited by CP rules. Which meant that if he got rid of Louis right here, Wade wouldn't be able to take revenge on him.

"Well then," said the instructor, looking at both of them, "let's begin."

"Rankyaku!" Frank shouted. Without missing a beat, he jumped into the air. His foot flashed ghostly, creating a powerful air strike aimed straight at Louis.

As the second strongest student in the camp, Frank, despite his mediocrity in Louis' eyes, was very strong. In the future, when Louis was older, such opponents would not be able to cause him any problems, but for now, Frank was one of the best students. Although not perfect, he had mastered some of the Rokushiki techniques, choosing to attack with one of two fighting techniques - Rankyaku, a technique that allows for long-range strikes.

The sound of the impact echoed through the arena, leaving a deep crack in the ground. Despite this, Louis was unharmed.

"You dodged it?" Frank, landing nearby, froze in bewilderment.

"Such an obvious attack was easy to predict," Louis replied, easily dodging the air strike. His heightened reflexes were a result of the abilities he had acquired after coming to this world.

"What about this?" Frank yelled. He then disappeared from view and appeared right in front of Louis. Rankyaku not only develops the power of kicks, but also greatly increases the speed.

He bent over so that his body was almost folded in half, and his right leg almost reached his head. With such incredible flexibility and strength, he released all the energy in his body in one blow: "Rankyaku!"

At such a close range, his air strike had not yet fully formed, but the bright shell around his leg was already ready. The target was Louis' neck. A strike of such force would easily shatter even a rock, and if Frank had hit an ordinary person, he would have cut off his head in an instant. As he had said before, he really intended to kill Louis by "miscalculating" his strength.

A terrible blow fell on Louis, who did not move. He was no match for Frank, who specialized in Rankyaku, in speed, but...

"Tekkai - Kuumoku!" Louis said, and his body grew slightly.

*Bam!!!* Louis' body was thrown back, but even so, he landed calmly and confidently.

"Did it hit him?" Dylan, who was standing among the onlookers, asked in surprise. "Why didn't Louis dodge? Even if he learned Tekkai, he shouldn't just take his opponents' blows!"

"Don't worry," Wade said with a smile, "The loser here isn't Louis."

"AAAAGH!" Frank screamed at that moment, because after throwing Louis back with his blow, he himself lost his balance, falling to one knee due to the fact that his right leg was no longer holding him up.

"It seems that the extra hundred dorriki didn't make you invincible," Louis calmly brushed off his clothes and slightly stretched his neck. Frank's blow hadn't managed to cause him any harm.

Because of his age, even with all the hellish training, Louis couldn't become much stronger physically until his body was fully strengthened. So he had to focus on improving his techniques. He needed a more powerful Tekkai. This is how the Tekkai - Ryu technique was born, which allows him to instantly strengthen certain parts of his body, somewhat reminiscent of a primitive version of the Haki of Armament. And also the Tekkai - Kuumoku technique, in which his body slightly expands, turning into an elastic shell that can reflect enemy blows. Somewhat reminiscent of the "spike aura" effect.

"Damn it!" Frank stood up with difficulty, clutching his right leg in pain. The blow to Louis was so hard that he felt as if he had hit an iron plate, and then his blow came back, which caused a crack in the bone...

"You little bastard!"

"Your arrogance, Frank, has no basis," Louis said quietly, "The level of Dorriki do not decide everything."

Frank was still angry. Three months ago, when he had been tested for dorriki, the difference between him and Louis had seemed enormous. But could it still be that way now?

The instructor, watching what was happening, nodded approvingly. Louis' Doriki would increase with age, but that was not the main thing. His real talent was in understanding the Rokushiki techniques. And although Frank and Louis' physical abilities were not so far apart, their level of mastery of the techniques was strikingly different.

"Well, let's continue," Louis unbuttoned the top button of his shirt, loosened his tie slightly and beckoned Frank with his hand.

Frank took a step back unconsciously, his right leg still paralyzed with pain.

"What, are you afraid to attack? Then I'll come myself!" Louis pushed off the ground sharply. Tekkai, based on powerful energy emissions, allows not only to strengthen the body, but also to use force for acceleration. Despite his apparent thinness, Louis rushed forward like a heavy projectile, tearing the air.

"Damn! You cheeky brat!" Frank gritted his teeth and jumped forward, raising his good leg to strike, "Rankyaku!"

Louis kicked the ground hard and flew into the air, clenching his right fist tightly and enlarging his body, "Tekkai - Kuumoku - Ryu!"

Tekkai's techniques merged together and his fist rushed forward.

*Boom!!* - his blow boomed like thunder rolling across the sky.

"Aaaaah!!" Frank's scream echoed through the air as his body fell to the ground.

*Boom!* Louis' body was also thrown down, but he managed to land on his feet, hitting the ground deeply and absorbing the remaining force of the impact.

"Are you done yet?" Louis smirked as he looked at Frank, who was clutching his left leg in pain. Tekkai had indeed proven to be both an impenetrable shield and an unstoppable spear - at least for Frank it had been.
