Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 (The Dead Titan (5))

To the Battle

DA had just cut the Titan in half. Everyone thought it was over—but within a second, the Titan regenerated. Before anyone could process what had happened, the Titan began to evolve. His massive body took on a new form—now a towering, monstrous figure glowing with dark purple energy. From his upper back, two glowing wings began to form.

The Titan opened his mouth. A devastating Ki attack charged at light speed. DA barely had time to react before the blast hit him directly.

The attack annihilated everything—every infinite timeline, every universe, every spark of life in the past.

---

Present Day – Outside the Universe

Ron and Locki, after escaping through the spatial tear Locki had created, found themselves back in the present—but outside their home universe.

Ron suddenly sensed an overwhelming, terrifying energy.

> "That must be the Titan," Ron thought.

He attempted to teleport toward the source—but the Titan's earlier attack, now echoing across timelines, destroyed the dimension Ron was teleporting into. Just before the blast reached them, Gravo Gonzalez appeared and pulled them into another universe.

The past was now completely erased. Not even the fabric of space remained.

---

In Another Universe

Locki looked around, confused. "Where are we?"

Ron didn't answer. He was thinking about the Titan—and the Titan could sense anyone thinking about him.

From across the void, a dark purple figure flew through space, heading straight for them. Ron and Locki had never seen the Titan before, but as he drew closer, the monstrous energy made it clear—this was him.

If either of them had been even slightly weaker, they would have been vaporized by his presence alone.

Ron activated the Blade of Vengeance. Lightning crackled around him as he launched forward, punching the Titan with glowing force—but the Titan caught his fist and struck him back in a single blow. Ron was knocked out instantly.

> "Ron's down with one hit?!" Locki thought in horror.

The Titan now turned his gaze to Locki.

Moments Later

A voice echoed in Ron's ears.

> "Hey Ron... wake up."

Ron opened his eyes. He was inside a glass tube. Looking around, he saw others—Locki, Carter, Lia—but these weren't the current versions. They were past and future variants, alongside dozens of other familiar faces from Hero Town.

The Titan had captured people from across all timelines—locking them in tubes inside a mysterious pocket dimension.

> "Where the hell is that monster?!" Ron yelled.

A voice responded.

> "He went to confront a Beyonder."

> "That voice... Aurora? You were captured too?" Ron asked.

> "Yes. Me, Carter, Lia, and even DA. But Dream wasn't captured."

Ron's thoughts immediately turned to his wife and daughters. He'd never even seen his second daughter in person. He clenched his fists.

> "How can I save them… Dream, my daughters…?"

Then, a strange voice echoed in his mind. It was the Fourth Wall.

> [Ron thought:] "Fourth Wall, please save them..."

But there was no reply.

Suddenly, the Titan returned to inspect the prisoners. Ron saw his chance. He had a rare ability he had never mastered—one he could only use once.

> [You have activated the ability: Infinite Power Nullification]

A surge of energy burst out. The pocket dimension's restraints began to fail. The effect should have faded quickly—but Locki and Aurora had triggered similar abilities at the same time.

Cracks split across the dimension's structure.

Ron seized the opportunity, grabbing Locki's hand and teleporting them away. Aurora stayed behind, sacrificing herself to hold off the Titan.

Edge of the Multiverse

Ron and Locki appeared at the very border of creation. The stars were distant, and time itself felt fragile here.

> Ron: "So, how do we defeat that thing?"

> Locki: "How the hell would I know?!"

After a pause, Locki snapped his fingers.

> Locki: "Wait! What if we time travel—undo everything before it started?"

Their faces lit up.

> Ron: "Let's go—before that Titan bastard shows up again!"

They high-fived, but the moment didn't last.

> Locki: "But… how are we supposed to time travel?"

> Ron: "DA gave me a bag. He said: 'Think about what you need. Then put your hand in the bag—you'll find it.'"

> Locki: "Seriously? That guy's mysterious as hell. Let's try it."

Ron focused on the thought: a time machine. He reached into the bag and pulled out a metallic toy.

Once removed from the bag, it expanded to full size.

> Locki: "He was serious…"

> Ron: "Now how do we turn it on?"

They fumbled with the controls. Alarms began to go off—the Titan was approaching.

Just in time, Ron pressed a glowing button. The time machine activated and hurled them into the time stream.

Unknown Era – Present-Day Hero Town

The machine crash-landed. They tumbled out.

Locki pointed toward a nearby billboard.

> Locki: "Ron… look!"

It was a digital screen, glowing blue.

> "Today is Sunday, July 20. Year: 175,975."

> Ron: "We're… 173,950 years into the future."

They approached a local citizen.

> Ron: "Excuse me, what year is this?"

The man tapped his watch. A projection floated above.

> Stranger: "Year 175,975."

> Locki: "We're from the year 2025…"

> Stranger: "2025? Oh! The year our ancestors fought the Titan."

> Ron: "They defeated him? How?"

> Stranger: "I don't know the full details. Maybe speak with our king."

> Ron: "Wait—you have a king? Not a president?"

> Stranger: "Yes. King Lee Vaider the Twenty-Third rules us now."

> Locki: "Vaider? From Hero Town? They used to be nobodies!"

> Stranger: "They invaded Hero Town and have ruled for a thousand years."

Ron's mind spun. The Vaider family… now royalty? What happened after the Titan?
