Two Years Later
Ron and Locki trained relentlessly for the next two years. Ron had now mastered the Blade of Vengeance, able to summon and control its power without even drawing the sword.
As their training neared its conclusion, Dr. Thomas unleashed a terrifying force across the multiverse: The Dead Titan.
---
The Past – 100 Billion Years Ago
The Titan stood in the vast emptiness of the multiverse—an ancient, forgotten past. It let out a scream so powerful that it obliterated trillions of universes, even tearing through the Void of Nothingness—the very space where Ron and Locki were training in the present. The dimension around them shattered, sending both into a swirling, endless abyss.
In mere minutes, the Titan wiped out the entire cosmos of that ancient time—planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, even timelines. Then, it recreated everything—only to destroy it again. Over and over, the cycle repeated.
Meanwhile, in the present day, even dimensions beyond time and space were crumbling.

Back on Earth
Dream lay awake in bed as her two daughters slept peacefully beside her. Her eyes filled with tears as she kissed their foreheads.
"It's near..." she whispered. "Please forgive me, my beautiful daughters..." (Ron's image appeared in her mind.) "And my beloved husband... I was so happy to meet you again, to live with you and our daughters... but..." Tears began streaming down her face. "I hope you can forgive me."

Elsewhere, during dinner…
Carter and Lia were quietly eating together when Carter's phone began to ring. It was DA.
Carter put the call on speaker.
> DA: "The Titan has been unleashed. But he's in the past for now."
> Carter: "How did he get there?"
> DA: "I sent him. I placed invisible portals at every exit of the World of Dark Souls. One of them led 100 billion years into the past. He went through that one."
> Carter: "So what's the plan?"
> DA: "Get far away from Earth. Then think about the Titan with everything you've got. He'll come to you."
> Lia: "Why not trap him in the past? Or hide Earth in another dimension?"
> DA: "Are you kidding? Even if I trapped him in the past, present, and future simultaneously, he'd break out without effort. And hiding Earth won't change anything. The Titan's goal is the entire macrocosm."
> Lia: "What does that mean?"
> DA: "It means we're all doomed. Every life, every universe, every possibility."
> Carter: "Calm down, both of you. Let's move to another dimension."
---
A transparent portal appeared beneath Carter, Lia, and Dream. Instantly, they were transported to a dimension between two universes—The Threshold Realm. Aurora was already there.
Everyone focused their thoughts on the Titan, expecting him to arrive. But instead, they were pulled into the ancient past by the Titan himself.
---
The Ancient Past
They looked around. Space was utterly empty—no planets, no stars, no galaxies, no universes.
> Lia: "Don't tell me… everything was destroyed."
Aurora and DA nodded solemnly.
> Lia: "What kind of power does this Titan have?"
> Aurora: "Enough to fight multiple Beyonders at once. He controls reality, space, time, death, causality—and more. He exists outside space and time. He can destroy infinite multiverses, timelines, abstract concepts, even the probability of survival—with a single attack. And worse… he has no mind. He's just a beast now."
> Carter: "No mind?"
> DA: "Dr. Thomas likely removed it to control him. If the Titan still had his intelligence, we'd already be dead. Titans are among the smartest beings ever born. They dwell in a forgotten dimension. I don't know how Dr. Thomas caught one."
> Aurora: "Maybe he revived a dead one."
> Dream: "How do we defeat it?"
> Aurora: "Destroy its core—its heart."
> DA: "Without a mind, he can't outsmart us or use his powers tactica—"
Suddenly, the Titan appeared and punched DA mid-sentence, launching him into space.
Aurora instantly summoned her spear and tried to freeze time, but the Titan was faster. He grabbed her face and shattered her spear. Then, with a Ki blast and a brutal punch, he sent Aurora flying.
The Titan turned to Dream, Carter, and Lia. Carter yelled for everyone to fall back, but the Titan's movements were too fast to see. Carter, drawing on his training with DA, dodged a strike and activated The Dark Faith. A dark purple sword formed in his hands, radiating a terrifying aura. He slashed at the Titan—but the Titan didn't even flinch.
> Carter (thinking): "What? How?"
Lia, having unlocked part of her Visionary ability, created illusions of Carter, Dream, and herself. The real Dream then miniaturized the trio to a size undetectable to the naked eye.
The Titan kept attacking the fakes. Then—a red slash came from nowhere, severing the Titan's left hand.
The Titan screamed. The shockwave destroyed several higher outerversal dimensions across past, present, and future.
It was DA. Blood covered the left side of his face. His eye burned red with fury. Without pause, he charged the Titan and launched a furious assault of punches.
Aurora, injured, attempted to create a pocket dimension to trap the Titan and DA inside.
> Aurora (thinking): "For the sake of the multiverse… someone has to make the sacrifice."
She succeeded—for about a minute. The pocket dimension shattered, unable to contain their raw power.
Their fists collided again and again, pushing each other back. DA, being smaller, evaded many of the Titan's attacks. He struck repeatedly, especially at the Titan's core.
Then, DA's fists turned into two glowing red swords. He stabbed the Titan deep in the chest, then stepped back. He raised his hands parallel to each other, glowing red energy forming between them—the same slash that had severed the Titan's hand.
He unleashed it.
The slash struck true, cutting the Titan in half.
Dream, Lia, and Carter returned to normal size.

Meanwhile, in Present Time – The Multiverse's Bottom Layer
Gravo, pale and shaken, looked at his father.
> Gravo: "Father, how can we stop that thing?"
> Mr. Gonzalez: "Don't worry, Gravo. If it comes for us, I'll protect you."
> Gravo: "But… he'll—"
> Mr. Gonzalez: "You don't need to worry. The Beyonders are watching. If Carter and the others get in trouble, the Beyonders will act. Even they know… that Titan is a threat to everything.
