"You're going to be fine,Luka" I looked at Luka as I combed her hair in front of my mirror.
Luka answered from the bed,"you don't get it, I can't loose this match".
"You'll be fine, now how do I look"
I stood up my grey wide shirt tucked neatly into a pair of military coloured cargo pants, my feet were decorated with black low soled canvas, my curly brown hair braided into two
Luka's eyes scanned me a moment, looking for the right word, there were so many things he wanted to say, so he just settled for the first word that came to his brain"lovely".
I couldn't help but smile at the green eyed blonde,
"thanks"
I walked closer to him
"you know"
I put her finger on his chest,
"you owe me training"I crossed my hands in front of my chest.
"Say what?"
Dark green eyes held questions as they looked at me.
"You heard me right boy."
"I owe you nothing love" he chuckled,his eyes no longer held questions but amusement.
"Contestants please make your way to the arena" the speakers in the hallway blared.
"Let's go"
"Wait, let me get my jacket "
"You don't need it, Luka, You're going to fight anyways"
"Okay"
"You're going to be fine, look you can do this" I said grabbing his face to look. "Now go get em."
"Thanks Fre" he said making his way downstairs to the ground floor where the fight was going to take place.
"Introducing first, Luka with the power of teleportation and his opponent Avery with the poison touch" The announcer spoke.
"That poison touch seems like a good ability doesn't it sis"
I turned to see Jude.
"You think Luka's gonna be alright"
"Yes, hopefully he doesn't get close enough to be poisoned, it seems his opponent needs to touch him to poison him" he ruffled my hair.
"You're right"
"You and I have talk Fre one of these days"
"About what" I sounded like a kid who's been caught red handed stealing candy.
"Wait, till then, let's go join the others, I can see Aviva waving us"
"Let the match start now" The announcer yelled as the battler's got into their stance.
I looked at Luka as he readied his stance.

I looked at Avery as he moved towards me, just as he was about to hit me I summoned a portal behind me disappearing into it.
"I can't get close to him like this if I do he'll just touch me and that's all it takes to knock me out"
Avery ran at me with full speed throwing a fist in my way, which I managed to escape.
"At this rate, all I'll ever do is escape"
I looked at Avery one last time before teleporting myself to the side of the announcer.
"Contestant Luka would like to forfeit the match" The announcer yelled.
I'm not sure I heard well did Luka just forfeit the match."No it can't be" I barely managed to whisper.
"I figured something like that would happen" Turning around to face Kyle,
"What do you mean"
"His opponent's ability was a close range ability meaning Luka couldn't go near him, he didn't have a weapon for mid-range or long range attacks, he's ability also doesn't support mid-range or long range attacks"
"That's true"
"It's better he forfeited rather than getting poisoned"
"You're right"
I watched as Luka ascended the stairs to meet us.
"Aviva,Evette your matches are coming up after the weekend,you ready"
"Yes, Ciara"
"I was born ready Ci"
"That's nice to hear, well I'll be leaving you guys to rest, see you later"
Both Aviva and Evette nodded.
"Kyle, aren't you having your own match next Wednesday"I looked over to him.
"Yes, don't worry I'm always ready"
I nodded leaving them to my room.

"Jude,Jude, can you hear me"a voice I recognized to be Mila's sounded.
"Yeah,where are you?"
"Here" I looked up to see Mila in all her grace but next to her was another dragon, a blue one with black tinted points at its wings.
"Mila, what's happening"
"Have you found what's special in you boy"
I remained speechless only shaking my head slightly.
Mila remained quiet then something strange happened both her and the dragon beside her emitted a blinding white light, by the time the light had died down, I was shocked.
I looked up to see Mila but a human one, her inky back hair floating in the wind and her black eyes with a touch of purple stared at me, I looked beside her to see a male figure he looked to be in his twenties, his white messy hair with blue tips matched his dark blue eyes.
"As you know, I am Mila, supreme god of shadow magic, and this is Ezra, supreme god of time magic and we are both the guardians of this kingdom"
"So what does this have to do with me"
"This kingdom is in great danger,son"
"Why can't you save it"
"Because I'm dead"
I widened my eyes as I heard those words.
"And so is Ezra" she continued.
"Is there a way to bring you back"
"Yes, there is" Ezra answered me this time.
"How?"
"There's no time to answer that now boy, but we needed you because you are the chosen one, you see the Fates brought our souls into you"
"What!" Anymore of this and I might get a concussion.
"The high priest will tell you more of this when it's time, hopefully by then our souls would have awoken in you"
I nodded too dumbfounded to say anything.
"Here, take this" he reached around his neck and removed a necklace embedded with gems of different shapes placing it in my hands, Mila removed her black ring with a gem that had the yin-yang symbol on it and gave me as I slipped it on.
"We hope this would be of help to you, son"
"You must go now" That was all I heard from Ezra then everything went black.
I woke up my breathing coming out rushed. I placed my hand in my chest to calm it down then I realized I had the necklace on, I looked at my hand then I saw Mila's ring.
Then I stood up from my bed walking towards the mirror, I saw that my normally dark black eyes had small almost unnoticeable purple specks in it.
"Damn, things are going to start getting weird."
I looked at the already darkening sky as I went back to my bed.
