As the crowd remained stunned by Crow's overwhelming bid, the auctioneer quickly struck the gavel. "Sold to the esteemed bidder—Crow!"
He stepped forward, retrieved Barix, and silently tucked it into his inventory. But before he could take another step, a familiar presence appeared beside him.
Lyravex—his SSS-rank support—clung to his arm tightly. Her silvery-blue eyes narrowed, lips slightly pouting.
"You've been ignoring me all day," she said, voice soft but unmistakably sharp. "I'm your support, remember? That means I'm supposed to be near you. Always."
Crow glanced at her, sighing internally.
She leaned in closer. "You do still want me around, right, Master?"
