As soon as she woke up, Inanna found herself bagged and desperately tried to wriggle free.
"Pello, did you water down your Sleep Spell? She's already awake."
"Fool, don't call me by name. Her duke father threw so many resources at her, how could her resistances be low? It's already a miracle she woke up now."
Inanna suddenly froze; these were both voices she recognized.
"Pello? And you, Ox! Did you trick me? Have you betrayed my father?"
"It's all your fault for talking too much, she recognized us," Pello said irritably.
Ox, however, seemed unconcerned, "What are you afraid of? She has no chance to go out and tell anyone."
What does that mean? Not just kidnapping?
"What do you want?"
Realizing she might be in mortal danger, Inanna became even more agitated.
The bag on her head was yanked away, and the first thing she saw was Ox's grim face.
"Want to know? Young lady, today you're going to be a magic beast's dinner!"
Inanna looked around, seeing many purple crystals of varying sizes scattered on the dimly lit tunnel walls.
Was she taken to the Purple Crystal Dungeon?
"You two masked rats in human skin, my old man never mistreated you! How dare you betray him?"
"Because your dad is done for soon. You really think he can fend off the Empire's attack? Killing you is just the last straw to break him, and once you're dead, your old man might get us a noble title."
Thinking of the promised title from the mastermind, Ox couldn't help but laugh aloud.
"Stop laughing; it'll attract demons," Pello impatiently cut off the laughter, "Let's do it here, set her down."
Inanna was thrown to the ground, still acting as if she wanted to bite someone.
Ox looked at Inanna's pretty face, somewhat regretfully, "Such a beauty, just like her father. It's a pity, I wanted to try what the Duke's daughter tastes like."
"This is Level 6; unless you don't mind getting your bare bottom chewed off by a demon, you can go ahead now."
"Just kidding; once I'm a noble, there'll be no shortage of women."
Pello raised the magic wand and pointed it at Inanna, chanting an obscure spell.
"Transformation Technique?"
Inanna instantly recognized the magic Pello was casting and kicked at him with her bound feet, trying to disrupt it, but was grabbed by Ox.
"If you've got guts, kill me! You kill... me..."
As the Transformation Technique completed, Inanna gradually lost her ability to speak, turning into a Puki with just two short legs, commonly known as a walking mushroom.
After finishing the spell, Pello somewhat reluctantly took out a bottle of starry potion and poured it over Inanna.
The scene left Ox clicking his tongue in wonderment.
"Solidification Potion, you really spared no expense. I say, why bother? Just kill her and throw her body down to feed the demons."
Listening to Ox's mindless comment, Pello felt his aversion to stupidity flaring up.
"You kill her, and see if killing her leaves you marked by the Duke's Revenge Mark, and when he drops everything to come kill you, don't bring me into this.
Locating magic, Revenge Mark, there's no way she doesn't have them. Letting the demons below eat her clean is the safest method."
As he spoke, he kindly cast an extended Slow Fall Technique on Inanna, preventing her from dying from a fall.
"I didn't say anything." Ox, although disdained, wasn't angry and approached Inanna, "Farewell, young lady."
With that, he kicked her, watching Inanna get swallowed by the Rift.
This was a rift leading directly to the depths of the dungeon, and no one who fell down had ever climbed up, let alone a Puki with no combat power.

Lin Jun, the owner of the Mushroom Garden, felt he might have been too distracted lately, making frequent low-level mistakes.
For instance, there was an uncontrollable Puki in the Mushroom Garden, which might have naturally fallen after maturing without getting connected to the Fungal Network.
It even had a pink mushroom cap, standing out amongst the green and grey caps of the other Pukis.
Is it a mutation?
Fortunately, fixing it is easy. Just use the mycelium to connect it to the Fungal Network frequency.
But why is it resisting so fiercely?
This uncontrollable Puki, when faced with Pukis Lin Jun dispatched to connect, started running around chaotically.
It knocked over a few Pukis, stomped around in the mushroom field, threw the entire Mushroom Garden into chaos.
An annoyed Lin Jun simply directed a large group of Pukis to surround it, squeezing it so it couldn't move, and then connected the mycelium to it.
"Ahhh! Get away! Get away!"
What the hell?
As soon as this Puki got online, Lin Jun was bombarded by screams, making his mycelium shiver.
"Quiet!"
The indisputable command was transmitted through the Fungal Network to every Puki, halting all activity in the Mushroom Garden for a moment.
"Damn it, no, back to normal in all regions."
After restoring the Mushroom Garden's operation, Lin Jun focused his attention on this special Puki.
He also realized that this was definitely not one of his Pukis, but an outsider mushroom.
It's truly bizarre that an outsider mushroom could end up in this remote corner.
