I have always hated people.
Always sticking their noses where it doesn't belong. Apart from being overly protective of my space, I hated when the numbers didn't correspond with the actual revenue that was meant to be coming in every week. When someone messed my shit up, it annoyed me.
Aside from all this, I hated cleaning the messes of snobbish Mafia men who don't listen. I warned Armando about the Russians, bringing them into the fold was only going to ignite chaos we didn't need. I was his consigliere and yet, my words somehow heaped into dusts in his ears. Now, the shipments never landed and millions are missing.
"I can't do this. I have a business to run, Armando. If you have kept your son in check, I wouldn't be out here putting out fires." I bit my words so hard that they screeched in his ears.
"Don't you think I know that? Antonio was foolish, just like the boy that he is." I rolled my eyes. Here we go with the pity speech.
