Yello, Yello!
EPISODE 4 IS HERE!!!
Let's just say-this one? It's giving vibes, emotions, and maybe a little chaos.
Let's dive right in!
--------
"I've noticed you've been restless all day-actually, all week," Joong said, eyeing Pond curiously. They were seated on the floor of the rehearsal room, catching a break between dance sets. Pond was glued to his phone, thumb-tapping the screen as if waiting on a message that refused to come.
Aside from being an actor and famously shipped with Phuwin, Pond was also a member of the rising T-pop group JESPER-a four-member band composed of Pond, Aou, Joong, and Santa.
Joong continued
"Something's wrong. You keep checking your phone. And where's Phuwin? He always drops by rehearsals, even when he's busy. But this week? Nothing. I know he doesn't have any solo gigs right now."
Pond let out a quiet sigh, jaw tense. "He's not texting me back... unless it's work-related."
Joong's brow raised. "What did you do, Pond?"
"Nothing," Pond snapped. Then, softer, "I didn't do anything. If we're being honest, he's the one who started it. I should be the one ignoring him."
Joong leaned in, whispering, "Okay... so what exactly happened?"
Before Pond could speak, the door swung open.
Dunk strolled in casually, followed by Phuwin.
Joong's eyes lit up, and he bolted toward Dunk, leaving Pond behind, frozen. After a few moments of hesitation, Pond stood up-he was going to talk to Phuwin. He had to. One week of silence was driving him insane. They needed to talk, clear things up, settle whatever this confusing mess was.
But just as he pushed himself off the floor-
"Ahh-shit." A sharp pain shot through his thigh, and he winced, collapsing back onto the mat.
Immediately, Phuwin was by his side.
"What happened?" His voice was laced with concern.
"Do you guys have any muscle balm?" Phuwin asked the others in the room without missing a beat.
Aou tossed him a tube, and Phuwin caught it effortlessly.
"It's nothing serious," Pond mumbled. "Just a cramp."
The rest of the room began to disperse, reassured, leaving the two of them in a small bubble of silence.
Phuwin knelt beside him, unscrewing the balm cap. He didn't say a word, but his hands moved with care.
Pond's heart pounded-not from the pain, but from how close Phuwin suddenly felt again. And after a week of distance, that closeness was like air to lungs that had forgotten how to breathe.
---
As Phuwin massaged Pond's leg, he avoided looking at his face. His chest was still tight with stress over everything that had been happening between them.
He hadn't planned to come to Pond's rehearsal room specifically-but since it was in the same building as the label, it would've looked strange if he didn't stop by.
Still, the tension between them hung thick in the air, and Phuwin didn't want to draw attention or spark any more rumors. It was awkward enough that they hadn't arrived together.
"How have you been?" Pond asked, finally breaking the silence.
"Good," Phuwin answered shortly, still avoiding his gaze.
"You've been ignoring me," Pond said softly.
"I haven't ignored you. I replied to your texts," Phuwin muttered, still focused on kneading the muscles in Pond's leg.
Pond wasn't sure if it was the massage or the fact that it was Phuwin touching him, but the pain had long faded into something else entirely. His body felt warm-too warm-and all he could think about was how good Phuwin's hands felt on him.
He watched him closely, Phuwin's face mere inches from his own.
His eyes lingered on Phuwin's long lashes, straight nose, and those soft, pink lips he couldn't stop wanting to kiss. He knew Phuwin was purposely avoiding eye contact, and the sight of his focused expression made a small smile creep onto Pond's lips.
"Stop staring at me," Phuwin said quietly.
Pond noticed the tips of Phuwin's ears turning red.
"I haven't seen you all week. Let me look at you until I'm satisfied," Pond teased.
Phuwin finally raised his head and met Pond's eyes for the first time since entering. His gaze was sharp and slightly hurt. "Will you stop messing with me, Pond?" he snapped, pulling his hands away from Pond's thigh.
"Phuwin-" Pond reached out and gently pulled him back before he could stand. That's when he realized they were alone in the room.
"Pond, I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but I want no part of it," Phuwin said, his voice cracking slightly.
Pond was looking at him like he was something sweet-something to be devoured-and it made his heart race in all the wrong ways.
Phuwin opened his mouth to say more, but Pond cut him off with a kiss.
It was sudden. A shock.
Phuwin gasped, and that was all Pond needed. He slipped his tongue into Phuwin's mouth, moaning softly at the taste. His fingers tangled in Phuwin's hair, loving how soft it felt under his touch.
But as the shock wore off, Phuwin shoved him back hard.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" he snapped, wiping his mouth furiously. His voice cracked-not with rage, but with something closer to pain.
"You always do this," Phuwin said, his voice trembling. "Always fucking with me."
"Phuwin, I didn't mean to-"
"Just leave me alone," Phuwin cut him off, turning on his heel and storming out of the room.
Pond jumped up and chased after him, desperate to explain himself.
