Within the great abyss of nothingness, a single light sails through. A pale-purple light that cuts a path through all that oppose them. A singular dragon that flies through the abyss, its pale purple scales shining brightly and its horns the form of a crown. The wings that of a starry night, further illuminating the realm of blackness
Figures try to crowd around it, attacking with magic, energy, weapons. The various and numerous aspects of the Void throw themselves at the dragon with no preservation of their own lives.
"Always annoying to be in the void. Why do you all even attack me at this point, it all ends the same." The dragon picks up an aspect in its talons, crushing it with little effort.
It slows down as a huge wave of lost ones block the way for thousands of lightyears. Trillions of them come down upon the traveling dragon.
"Really, Void, leave well enough alone." It opens its mouth letting loose a torrent of purple fire that brightens a space the size of the universe.
The whole wall of lost ones vanish into ash as the fire extends a few hundred lightyears. Though after just a few moments, it hits a barrier fanning out all across the barrier of darkness.
A voice resounds through that of the abyss. "Leave dragon, my forces shall not faulter until your corpse has disappeared." The space itself shakes in a veritable anger.
"Void, let me pass and your forces shall not be reduced to ash constantly. This just wastes both our times." It moves forward, colliding with the barrier. It shatters like glass, the pieces harmlessly float about in the abyss of light.
The voice resonates once more, "Leave my realm dragon. There is nothing for you out here."
Hundreds of aspects fly towards the dragon, many larger than planets. Each open their mouth as purple flames spew forth to the dragon.
The dragon continues to fly straight through the flames, its body growing larger until its form eclipses that of all the aspects ahead. Its front claws slicing through the emptiness, waves of slashes erupting from the tips of each talon cutting the aspects to shreds where they stand.
"I know you're lying now Void. I sensed a strange congregation of yours far off. I'd say I'm only around thirty universal lengths away from whatever is there. Now, would you like to lose more aspects, or will you let me through peacefully." The dragon calls out while continuing to move forward at unthinkable speeds.
More aspects appear at its sides, growing claws to slash at the dragon. The claws that had just bisected hundreds of aspects harmlessly pinged off the dragon's scales.
"How many aspects are you willing to loose for my journey void. You know that their copies will never match me since they all are gone in just an attack." Flames appear all around the dragon turning the aspects to dust. The dust freezes and floats into the emptiness.
The dragon continues to mow through the abyss for centuries, eliminating thousands of aspects. Beings that would stand atop that of whole universes mere foot notes in the presence of this pale-purple dragon. All the forces of the Void mere fodder, annoyances meant to slow it down.
Finally, it comes upon the only shred of existence within the blackness, that being the amalgam of the Void itself.
"You really are trying to slow me down this time Void, whatever it is must be stupidly important to you. Could it be an Avatar?" The dragon taunts the amalgam. It floats straight up to it, the hundreds of faces locked to the dragon.
It raises thousands of its hands as the strings threatened to encroach on the dragon. "You have come this far just to die." It swings down upon the powerful wings with that of broken stars.
It flaps said wings just once, reigniting the stars in it's grasp. The sudden advent of light and heat burning the Amalgam's hands. It hastily moves them to the black hole it sprouts from consuming the now living stars within seconds.
"It seems you'd like to be sent out of reality for a few thousand millennia again. I wonder how long it took you to make this paltry amalgam? Let's see." The dragon grows equal in size to the massive Amalgam, towering over that of full galaxies if they were to have been in a universe.
"Now where is your soul's projection, Void." It grabs at the black hole. The dragon claws slicing the cosmological object with ease, the planets and dead stars that were to fall into it floating away at random.
The dragon starts to rip out the black heads from the helpless Amalgam, each turning into dust in its hands. Its hands grasping at strings, wrap around the dragon yet the scales cut the hands upon contact. Thousands of Aspects appear and grab onto the dragon as well, trying to drag it back.
"There it is." The dragon plunges its front right claw deep into the Amalgam's large body, grasping a black orb the feeling of glass. "Only ten percent Void. Ah, the last time I must have really set you back huh."
"A useless setback dragon. I shall return as always and soon it will herald the true end of existence. An Avatar shall defeat you and I shall sip the last of existence from your skull." The remaining tens of heads speak. Its resonating voice much quieter.
The dragon pulls out the black orb. "Even you are bound by fate as am I. One day we'll decide this one on one. Your full incarnation versus my unrestrained power just as it is written. Until then, I'll happily send you back outside of reality." The orb is easily crushed in its claw. The Amalgam falls back, the black hole fizzling into nothingness, as its body starts to float away.
The dragon opens up its mouth once more, expunging a purple flame that illuminates much of the abyss for a brief second, intent on reducing all aspects and structures of the Void to ash.
"Oh, the flames stopped over a sphere. That must be what I'm looking for this time." The dragon heads off into the direction the strings of the Void had sent Chi to.
One more century until it comes upon a universe of existence. One encased in a barrier that repels that of the Void and all that it comes with.
"A grand piece of existence this far out. How strange. I must be at least two to three thousand universal lengths away from the main congregation of universes." The dragon touches the barrier, a talon effortlessly passing through. "Shall I check it out some. I might as well see what we're working with here."
The dragon passes through the barrier and sees a universe of beauty and chaos. One that was once ruled by three and is now ruled by one.
