A/N: Sorry about yesterday, i was so busy with work that I forgot to post the chapter and I sincereley apologise to you all. Enjoy reading.

*******

Wind blew around forcefully as the black jet slowly descended on the terrace of KDA.

It was already dark by the time Ash reached Kanto. It would have taken more time if not for the extreme speed of the aircraft.

After the safe landing, the doors opened as a small staircase was leaned against it towards the ground. With Pikachu on his shoulder, he walked down the stairs and was greeted by a familiar officer.

"Good evening Sir," the gentle voice said.

Ash looked at him and smiled.

"Good evening Bill. It's good to see you again," he said.

"Likewise Sir. I am here to escort you to the Elite room. Sir Lance and Miss Sabrina are waiting for you," he said.

"Alright, let's get going then," Ash said as both of left the terrace and entered the building.

All the officer who saw Ash greeted him delightfully. Some even ceased their work to talk to him.

'Feels good to be here again,' Ash thought with a smile.

Soon they reached the Elite Room. Ash thanked Bill and sent him back to work. He turned the doorknob and entered.

The dragon type expert was working on his desk while the psychic specialist was reading a magazine on the sofa. She didn't bother to look at the door and just ignored while Lance looked irritated at the fact who would dare to enter without permission.

"Who is it-?" he said glancing at the door, and immediately stood from the desk and formed a surprisingly smile on his face.

"Ash!" he exclaimed, walking towards him.

The name caught Sabrina's attention as she instantly got up from the sofa and hurriedly walked to the boy.

"Glad to see you made it," she said, smiling as well.

Ash greeted them formerly and walked towards the sofa. The other two followed his pursuit and took their seats.

"So.....any updates?" asked Ash as he made himself comfortable, crossing one leg on another. Pikachu sat beside him comfortably as well.

"Well, not since you have arrived," Lance replied as he sat opposite to him, not bothered by the gesture from Ash's sitting as he knew the boy hated formalities.

"How is your time going at the academy?" Sabrina asked.

The trio started to chitchat and catch-up on everything. Each of them started to fill each other out on what they missed. After 10 to 20 minutes of talking, Ash brought up the main shit.

"What did you guys find out about Cosmos?" he asked.

Lance and Sabrina changed glances.

"According to our sources, a few suspicious activity has been spotted recently in Kalos," said Lance, frowning.

"All we know is that there is soon going to be an assault on the Academy," added Sabrina.

Ash closed his eyes and thought deeply.

This group of criminals were highly advanced in technology and very skillful too. Even Special forces like KDA had a hard time figuring them out. They were unpredictable in their movements. If only once, just once, Ash could confront them by himself, he would make sure all of them are sent behind the bars.

"They are holding more information back," Sabrina said, breaking Ash out of his thoughts.

"You mean the hunters?" he asked.

"Yes. Its like Lance told before," she said glancing at him. "They seemed to have been trained for interrogation like this."

Ash resumed his thoughts. If they really had more information on Cosmos, it should be spilled out right away. Who knew when the criminals will strike their target? Maybe it will be sooner than they thought? There was no time to waste.

"I want to interrogate them," Ash said in a serious tone, standing up from the couch. The other two looked at him surprised.

"You just arrived here. You can do it -" Lance started.

"No Lance," said Ash interrupting him. "I want to do it now."

Both of them knew Ash had made up his mind from the tone he was speaking. So, they decided to let him be.

"Alright, if that's what you want," said Lance and got up from the couch. "I will inform the officers for the preparations," he said walking up to his desk.

"Don't kill anybody," Sabrina said in a dull tone. Ash chuckled.

"That means you still haven't?" he asked. The psychic smirked.

"Trust me, after all of this is over, that's the first thing I will do," she said in a creepy voice, sending shivers down Ash's spine.

He wondered how the criminals managed to face her interrogation in the first place.

"You can now go Ash," Lance said, walking upto them.

Ash nodded and started to walk out of the room, when Lance interrupted him.

"Don't kill anybody."

"Ok ok," Ash replied back irritatedly as he walked out, leaving Lance a bit confused. Sabrina just giggled to herself.

It was sharp 7 in the clock. The academy was shining brightly with all the lights that were being emitted from the exteriors. It was lively and alive more at the night time.

Students could be seen battling on the battlefields. Some of the stadiums could be seen used for training as well. The lights from the studios clearly sent the message that the coordinators/performers were reigning within it. A few were just chilling, either in the cafe or around the campus.

"Say, Ash is pretty late, don't you think?" asked Goh, who strolling by a garden.

"Yeah. But then, its Ashy-boy of course," said Gary with a laugh.

"NO WAY NO WAY NOT FAIR," a voice yelled catching their attention.

"You can't substitute like that, you will have to pay a fine," Barry said pointing a finger at his opponent.

"Arceus, who put me up with this idiot," the annoyed voice of Calem could be heard.

Gary and Goh just sweatdropped.

All over, it was just a typical perfect night at the renowned foundation, like all things should be. But not for long, that is.

"What do you see?" a deep voice asked, who was standing atop a building.

"There are lots of students around the campus, Sir," a grunt replied as he was zooming on the target with his binoculars.

"Many of them are having pokemon battles right now," he further said.

"That shouldn't be a problem," Agent Black said as he dialled a number and placed it on his ear.

After a few rings, the call picked up.

"Yes Black, what is it?" a deep voice asked from the other side of the call.

"Everything's in place Damon," reported Black. The Elite member smirked as he got up from his chair. He was currently in an airship along with Medea and all of their reinforcements.

"Perfect. We are almost on our way. Meanwhile, start the machines and devices," said Damon.

"Hmph, alright," Black replied back and cut the call.

"Sir?" asked the grunt.

"Yes, do it," confirmed Black with a nod.

***

Ash entered the remand room. The area of this place was small and temperature was lower compared to the outside. The only furnitures there was some chairs in the middle of the room, under a single bulb which was the only source of light. The corners of the room were consumed by darkness.

Ash never had to interrogate anyone here because the officers who were assigned for it would do it for him. But this time, it was exceptional.

Two chairs were placed opposite to each other. On one of them, a man who looked like in his 20s, was sitting with his head slumped down. Two officers were standing behind the chair, hands behind their back in a disciplined stance as they gave a silent salute to Ash when he entered. The boy nodded and motioned them to leave the room. Without a question, the two officers left the room leaving Ash alone with the criminal.

He took the seat opposite from the culprit as Pikachu sat on his lap. The man slowly raised his head with an uninterested look.

Ash noticed he had many cuts and bruises on his once good looking face. Probably from the previous interrogations he had to face. And not spilling up confidential information wouldn't just leave you unscathed.

The man smirked lowly as Ash rose an eyebrow.

"What's so funny?" he asked in a cold tone.

"Ah nothing really. To think my stubborness

would actually bring the Ash Ketchum here himself," he replied with a laugh. "Oh by the way, name's Jimmy," he said.

"I could care less about your name," Ash spat back.

"No, it's for the viewers," Jimmy said, simply.

"What?" asked Ash, confused.

'A man of culture I see,' thought Pikachu, approvingly.

"Anyway, lots of your so-called officers tried to open my mouth. Even that creepy lady from before couldn't do anything. Though my partner isn't doing so well," he muttered the last part and looked at Ash with a smug look. "What makes you sure you'll do any better?"

The Kanto Champion smirked with a crazy look in his eyes that freaked out jimmy.

"Wh-what's with the look?" he asked, unsurely.

Ash closed his eyes slowly. He released some aura from his body so that a particular pokemon of his could respond to it. The temperature of the room dropped down even lower as Jimmy started shivering from the cold.

"Gengar."

Ash spoke softly opening his eyes as a ghostly figure appeared beside him. Its blood red eyes gazing at the culprit with the signature grin on its face.

"Li-listen," spoke Jimmy stammering.

"Using pokemon moves on people is illegal.

You will-"

"Of course I know the law," said Ash, cutting him off. "But, since no one else is here so...." he trailed as Jimmy instantly got the message.

Gengar grinned sinisterly, as it started to float towards the hunter.

"N-no, s-stay away from me," he said, backing up with his chair, now frightened.

"Well then, tell me everything you know about Team Cosmos," said Ash.

"Never heard of em," replied Jimmy with a fake frown.

"Wrong answer," said Ash, shaking his head as he snapped his fingers.

"Use Mean Look."

The Shadow Pokemon's eyes glowed as Jimmy froze on his spot. He body began to shake as his eyelids twitched.

"Now, let's try this again," the raven haired started as he stared directly at Jimmy's eyes.

"Tell me what you know about Cosmos's next plan?"

***

Professor Oak was writing a poetry on mega evolution in his office when suddenly, the lights switched off. He looked around in confusion.

"This is unusual," he wondered aloud and grabbed a torchlight. He noticed that the lights from outside the academy were still active. He checked the switchboard for any technical problems, but didn't find any. Suddenly his phone rang. He saw it was Professor Rowan.

"Yes?" he answered politely.

"Professor Oak, were we supposed to have a cut out?" he asked.

"No, I wasn't informed of any such thing," Oak replied. "What is the problem?"

"Apparently the electricity has been cut out of all the offices and dorms except the exterior ones. Students are complaining for that matter," Rowan said.

"I see," said Oak thoughtfully. "Meet me outside right away along with the others. We need to solve this."

"Yes Professor," said Rowan and cut the call.

A group of girls and boys could be seen outside, gathering and arguing about something.

"Hey Gary, what's going on over there?" asked Calem pointing to the group, where the girls were talking and whispering.

"Why are you asking me?" questioned Gary.

"Well, you always seem to have more knowledge about the girls than pokemon," teased Barry as Goh snickered.

"Well, at least I know that man and woman have different sex organs, unlike you," countered Gary.

"Barry, what the hell? You didn't know that?!" asked Goh, dumbfounded. Calem looked at him weirdly.

"O-of course I knew that. I am not that dumb," said Barry with a huff. 'Really? Now it makes more sense,' he thought in his mind.

"Oh, that means you admit you are dumb," said Gary with a sneer.

"Why you-"

"Are you guys always fighting?" asked Brock who just joined them.

"Hey guys," a voice called out as they looked at the direction to see a boy running towards them.

"Hey Clemont, what's new?" asked Gary.

"There has been a power cut out in the interior part of the academy," he informed them.

"What? A power cut out shouldn't be possible," said Gary. "Let me go and talk to gramps," with that, the researcher strolled away.

"Let's see what the gathering is about," Brock wondered out to himself as he walked to the familiar group of girls.

Dawn, May, Anabel and Serena were talking and whispering about something. Before Brock could reach upto them, he overheard some words like kissing, liplock and makeout.

'What the hell!' the breeder thought as he coughed a bit to get their attention. The girls looked at him.

"Hi Brock!" May and Dawn greeted in unison.

"Hey. Do you know what's all this about?" he asked.

"Yeah. The power was cut out in the studios so, we had to cancel our practice," explained Serena shortly.

"Do you know anything about this?" asked Anabel.

"Sadly, no. Don't worry we will come up with something shortly," he said reassuringly.

"Hey Brock, has Ash come back yet?" asked Dawn. The other girls looked at him too, waiting for his answer.

"Why?" asked Brock slyly. The girls all blushed and started to move around shiftily, not knowing what to say.

"No, he hasn't come back yet," said Brock, saving them from the embarrassment.

"Weird. Shouldn't he have arrived by now?" asked May thoughtfully.

"May, you said you met him while he was going somewhere," said Anabel as the brunette nodded.

"Well, didn't you ask him where he was going?" asked Serena with a frown.

"I did. He said he had some Champion duties or something," said May.

"Its unlike you to not know about something completely," said Dawn, a bit suspicious.

"I guess she was distracted," said Anabel with a smile.

"Hehe yeah.....distracted," said May nervously. 'Dammit Ash. So that's why he kissed me out of nowwhere. Wait till he comes back,' she thought angrily.

'I need to ask Ash what's going on,' thought Brock, smiling knowingly.

"Jeez, right when I was in the middle of a study session," grumbled a platinum haired blonde as she came out from the girl's dorm with her Alolan Ninetails, Snowy.

"Hey Lillie," a calm and deep voice called her.

"Huh?" the girl turned around only to see a similar haired guy with an umbreon.

"Oh hey brother," she greeted him with a smile.

Gladion smiled. "We are having a power cut out for some reason," he informed her.

"Oh, so that's why," said Lillie.

"I will leave you to your friends," Gladion said and walked away.

"Lillie," two girls called out as she turned around to see her friends.

"Hey Mallow and Lana," she smiled and called back. The girls then started to mingle with each other.

Brendan, Sawyer and Max cancelled their gym training as they joined the others as well.

"Such a weird way to cut the power out, right Kiawe?" asked Sophocles who was walking alongside the shirtless guy.

"Yeah," agreed Kiawe with a frown. It was sort of weird that the electricity was gone only interior parts of the academy. While the lights were shining brightly of the outside perfectly.

"Hey Gramps," a voice called out as Oak turned around from Juniper and Rowan towards his grandson.

"Yes Gary?"

"Do you know what's the reason of the sudden power out?" he asked.

"Not yet Gary," Juniper said as the simp looked at her.

"I have contacted the main power office line of the Lumiose city, but even they don't know anything about this," said Professor Sycamore who came just now.

"This is peculiar," said Rowan.

"Then what are we supposed to do?" asked Gary.

"They have sent some of the employees here to check out the problem," added Sycamore further.

"Well, I guess we can wait for now," Juniper said.

"Alright then, I will go and inform the others," said Gary as he sprinted away.

Meanwhile

"Its a distortion down there Sir," said a grunt with a smirk.

Agent Black smirked back. "Everything's going according to plan. Looks like our grunts successfully cut their power line."

"But sir, how did they know which one to cut?" asked the grunt.

"Our scientists created some sort of an electronic map of this academy and all of its surroundings. They just had to follow that," explained Black as he dialled a number on his phone and the receiver immediately picked up.

"Yes Agent Black," the voice said.

"Activate the force field Dr.Jacob," said Black.

"On it Sir," the voice said and cut the call.

Black smirked.

"The real fun begins now."

***

"Th-they a-are g-going to attack on that Academy. I s-swear that's all I k-know," a shaking voice of Jimmy said. Eyes full of fear.

"Use Night Shade once more," said Ash in a boring tone.

Gengar grinned and shot the dark energy waves from its eyes at Jimmy, forcing him to see terrifying mirages. He screamed in panic.

An officer planted his ear on the door. It was silence for a moment and than the screaming of a man could be heard, begging fot help.

The office smirked and looked at Bill who was next to him.

"He is having fun," he commented.

Bill just kept silent and rolled his eyes.

"I-I s-swear," he said again in a defeated voice.

"Drop the stupid act and tell me what you're hiding," said Ash, now grabbing his collar.

The then terrified hunter now laughed a little and looked at Ash.

"Try me," he said in a mocking tone.

'Now I know why Sabrina was so frustrated,' thought Ash. But he wasn't going to just leave him without an answer. He looked at Gengar and nodded. The Ghost/Poison type understood what to do as it laughed maniacally. It went intangent and floated towards the hunter, before disappearing inside his body. Jimmy could feel the temperature inside his body falling down dramatically. Many parts of his body started to ache painfully.

"S-so you.....f-finally decided t-to...kill me," said Jimmy, still smiling.

"Oh no, you're wrong," said Ash, shaking his head. "You are not going to die, but its even worse than it. Gengar do it," he commanded.

"Do wha-?" he couldn't complete his sentence when the pain from before intensified thousand times than before as the guy screamed his heart out.

"That's a lot of damage," said Bill who was now interested in the interrogation too.

"Told you," the other officer said with a smirk.

"Stop pls stop aaaaaa," the criminal manage to say while enduring the pain. This time, anyone could tell it wasn't an act.

"Enough," Ash said as the pain stopped and Jimmy breathed heavily, falling on the floor.

"Th-they wanted to....gasp..... attack the academy a-and....gasp..... steal all valuable things they could find," Jimmy said finally as he gasped for air.

"When?" asked Ash in a cold tone.

"I d-don't know..."

"Gengar."

"Wait stop," pleaded jimmy raising his hand at front.

Ash looked at him.

"T-they wanted to do it, whenever you were out of the academy," he said in a whisper.

Ash grabbed him by the collar again and glared at him.

"I asked WHEN?!!" he said in an angry tone.

Despite all the torture the poor guy had to endure, he couldn't help but smirk, seeing the irony of the situation.

"You.don't.want.to.test.my.patience." Ash said, gritting his teeth.

"L-like....right now," Jimmy said finally as he broke into a fit of laughter.

It took some time for Ash to process what he said. He wasn't in the academy or the Kalos region right now. He was in Kanto. No way. There was no way they could have executed their plan by now in a such a short time....or...could they? Ash then again looked at the man who was enjoying his reaction.

"You're bluffing," said Ash with a look of disbelief.

The man didn't respond as he still kept grinning. Ash clenched his fist and punched him across the face, as he dropped on the floor....fainted.

With Pikachu, Ash quickly sprinted out of the remand room. He bolted out of the door, sending the two officers flying across the corridor. He quickly took out his phone and dialled Ethan's number on the call list. After a few rings, he picked up.

"Oh hey Ash, you're in Kanto already?" he asked.

Ash sighed in relief hearing his voice.

"Ethan, listen. Where are you?"

"Just taking a walk. Apparently, there is a power cut out here all of a sudden. Why do you ask?"

'Power cut out?' thought Ash, frowning.

"Listen, I don't know for sure, but something's terrible going to happen," said Ash warningly.

"Woah woah. Why are you sounding so tensed. What's wrong?" asked Ethan.

"I told you I can't say anything for sure, but you need to warn everyone. I think its Tea-"

Beep beep*

Before Ash could finish, the connection was cut off. His hands started to shake nervously as his once calm auburn eyes widened in fear.

"Sir, what's wrong?" asked Bill, who was looking at him worryingly.

"Yeah you look tensed," said the other officer, who was massaging his butt from the impact on the floor.

"Call Lance. Fire the red alarm. Its an emergency."

***

"Why did the call cut off suddenly?" Ethan asked himself as he checked the phone.

"Huh? No signal?" he said, confused. Then he remembered the conversation he had with the Kanto Champion.

"He sounded tensed and worried. Warning everyone, something terrible? Wonder what he meant," he thought to himself.

Just he was about to turn back to the dorm, a loud explosion was heard from the entrance.

"What the hell?" he yelled and ran towards the commotion.

"Professor Oak, what was that?" asked Juniper with worry.

"First ensure the students safety," he said.

"On it," Birch and Sycamore replied as they rushed towards the sound.

"What in the actual world?!" exclaimed Gary in disbelief.

The girls were screaming and running away as another blast was heard from a different direction.

"Please calm down," Brock and Cilan tried to convince the students to not panic.

"Hey, look at that," Max said as he pointed out towards the sky. Everyone else gazed at the direction he was pointing and was shocked.

A large black battleship was slowly descending from the sky on the campus. It landed perfectly as several doors of the ship opened immediately. A swarm of men and women came out wearing uniforms with gadgets attached to their wrists and belt. They started to bring out some machines and started to implant them without any hesitation. Everyone was confused and unable to process what was happening.

"What is the meaning of this?" the voice of Sycamore yelled as he came running at the unknown trespassers. The people in uniform ignored him and kept doing their tasks.

"Who are they and what are they doing?" asked Flint who came here as well.

"I don't know, but they don't give any good vibes to me," said Calem, frowning.

"Will you stop standing like fools or confront them already?" an irritated voice of Paul asked as he walked past them.

"As much as I hate to admit, he's right," Gary said and started to follow him.

"I am coming too," said Flint.

"Yeah let's go," said Birch.

Most of the important students of the academy started to approach the unknown group of people to confront them as the others stayed cautious and watched with curiosity.

The elite member Damon slowly stepped out from the ship with Medea behind him. He took a deep breath of the atmosphere of the place he was soon going to annihilate. He noticed how the grunts were setting up the pokeball disfunctioning machines without any difficulties and then the approaching group of people. He smirked as he stepped down.

"Let's get this done quickly, shall we?"

***

A raven haired teenager was seen standing atop the roof of a building. The private jets were standing silently beside him as he stared distantly into the sky. His faithful partner sitting on his shoulder.

"Ash."

A voice interrupted him as he turned around to see spiky red haired man with a cape flowing behind him.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Lance. Ash simply nodded.

"It seems his doubts were right," a voice of a green haired girl interrupted them. They turned to see the last elite four member of Kanto approaching.

"What did you find out?" asked Lance.

"We couldn't come in contact with a single person in the academy," said Sabrina.

"Almost as if a strong magnetic field is resisting the network."

"Dammit," Lance cursed under his breath.

"What else?" he asked.

"We have informed our Kalos branch to check into the academy immediately," said Sabrina.

"We can't wait for that," Ash spoke as they looked at him. "Who knows how much damage they might've caused by then or what if anyone gets hurt," he said the kast part softly, remembering all his friends who are inside the academy. They are just like a family to him. He can't afford to lose them.

No way. He would do everything in his power to protect them. And this was the time for that.

"I am going," said Ash determinedly.

"Yes Ash. We all are going. Our troops are all ready and in about 10 minutes we are going to-"

"You don't understand," Ash interrupted her.

"I am going there. Right now."

Sabrina was confused as she looked at Lance, who just sighed.

"He is planning to teleport all the way to the Kalos Region," said Lance as Sabrina jaw-dropped in disbelief.

"Have you gone insane? How the hell are you even going to do that?" asked Sabrina incredulously.

"With the help of my pokemon of course," Ash confirmed with a smile.

"But I thought you said you left all of your pokeballs back there at your room," said Lance.

"Not all of them," said Ash shaking his head as he took out the pokeball Pikachu told to take with him before. "Pikachu had a hunch so, I bought this one with me," he said playing the ball between his fingers.

Lance and Sabrina immediately recognised the pokeball in his hand. They couldn't help but smirk, knowing what was coming.

"Well that take cares of that," said Lance with a nod. "But still, how are you supposed to telep-"

"Sir?" a voice interrupted them as they turned to see Bill with a box in his hand.

"Yes Bill, did you bring what I told you?" asked Ash.

"Its right here Sir," Bill said opening the platinum box. The lid opened as the smoke from inside it slowly subsided to reveal an ultra ball inside it.

Ash took the ball and enlarged it. Sabrina's eyes widened in horror, realising what was his plan.

"No Ash, you are not planning to -"

"I am," he said and without wasting a second, released the pokemon from inside it. After the light faded and the figure materialised, the others except Ash instantly backed away due to the tremendous amount of power the pokemon was emitting.

"Come to the Kalos region with the others as soon as possible," Ash said to Lance and Sabrina. "I will stop them by then."

The Champion of Kanto now looked at the pokemon he released just now, who was staring at him with confusion and curiosity.

"I will explain everything later," Ash said.

"Right now, I need you to teleport me to the Kalos region."

Mewtwo nodded as its eyes glowed blue and started to release its psychic energy, preparing for the longest teleportation in history.

Ash closed his eyes as the bright light soon surrounded him and Pikachu. There was only one thought in his mind.

"No more holding back."
